Onitsuka Tiger by Asics Reviews
I love this shoe, but find it runs large. I usually wear a 11.5/12 US or 45 European. The website only showed US sizes. I ordered the 12 and discovered it was too big. Went down to US 11 (which was a 45 European) to get the right fit. I suggest Zappos shows the US and European sizes to help in ordering. As other reviews have indicated, this shoe seems to have good arch support for a shoe that looks to be flat.
I bought these shoes for my husband to wear to N.O. Saints games. He loves these shoes. Light and comfortable. He has quite thin feet and they fit well. Loved the selection of colour combos.
Does not work with orthotics. This is a nice shoe, but be warned that it doesn't really work with orthotics. The first problem is that the insole is glued in, and it's extremely difficult to tear out. So if you intend on replacing the insoles with your own insoles or orthotics, think about getting a different shoe. Even if you manage to get the insole out (which I did, after much difficulty) it still doesn't work with orthotics because orthotics tend to lift your foot higher than regular insoles, and there isn't enough room in this shoe for that.
I like the shoes a lot; they're fresh. I've gotten some compliments on them. I'm young so I'm always looking for a good shoe. I thought the black and yellow would look funny from the picture, but the black fabric is a sturdy felt feeling material that isn't a dark black, so it works well. I have some arch problems and there is a notable lack of any arch support. If you get these shoes, I would advise insoles. Honestly, most nice looking shoes have no arch support. Humans hate their feet! I really like this shoe, but if you care about your feet get insoles! It's a practice I should have had a long time ago.
Took a little while to break in but now they're very comfortable. They look great with jeans.
I love this shoe. I wear (and bought) a Women's 12N. I bought it as a comfy, casual shoe that wouldn't look so athletic. The material is a soft, thick felt, and goes great with jeans or casual pants. I have been wearing it nonstop since it arrived! I will consider adding an insole for some arch support and don't anticipate it affecting the fit.
Stylin' comfortable, high-quality shoes, decent arch support for a rather minimal shoe.
They fit true to size! First day they are a bit noisy. But I walked all day around my house and the next day the noise disappeared. So it was not a problem. I love style! I am sure that my next shoes also will be from Onitsuka!
I like the style, but the shoe it sells is a little stiff. I would buy other colors but not for long periods of wear.
I love my new kicks! These are just what I was looking for in a casual, yet hip looking sneaker. Easy to dress up, great with jeans... Others have complained about the tabs that stick out of the back, but it's easy enough to just tuck them in and they go unnoticed. Not sure how athletes ran with these in the Olympics, with such a thin sole, but they are super comfy for walking around town. Love 'em.
This has been my fourth pair of these. They are very lightweight and comfortable. They are affordable, so easy to replace They also come in lots of different colors so you never get bored with one pair.
Really good looking and lightweight shoes. I have size 13 feet that tend to look huge in shoes like these, but the Onitsukas don't have that effect. These are certainly not what I would choose to walk 15 miles in, but they're great for strolling around town or just hanging out.
Great support and comfortable. Haven't tried running in them, but they're great if you stand at work all day.
I ordered these shoes for my husband for his birthday. He has another color and loves them, so I thought I would get this color too. They are really nice looking, and I ordered the same size his other ones are, 11.5, but they were too large. I had to exchange them for an 11, but other than that they are a great shoe. This particular color just runs a little big.
