The shoes are beautiful and very comfortable. They are slim and have a low interest rate raise. They are one size smaller than described. I have a foot from injury, and these shoes keep the ankle as it should. But I recommend you buy a half size or one size bigger for comfort. An insert will not fit. I will give them to the shoemaker for a 1/4" higher heel, then they will be perfect! Shoes have a thin skin; soft, beautiful! There are no other such shoes! I have a size of 8-8.5 Aerosoles, 7 Martens, but these I bought in a size 9 and it is ideal for a thin sock. If you buy a very small foot size N, you should know that this is a very slim foot.

These are beautiful boots. I bought this brand since my husband has owned Olukai flip flops and raves about the comfort. I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in the comfort, after wearing them all day; I have a slight ache in my feet. Nothing unbearable, though. The leather is thin and unlined but very soft. The outside of the leather is "raw" meaning it doesn't have any shine and marks easily but like a favorite leather chair, it just adds character. Overall, I would recommend these.

Comfortable shoes and a great look. My teenage daughter has even asked to borrow them. Good quality leather, though it is on the thin side, hoping this does not impact durability. (Have been wearing them regularly for a month, and so far no durability issues.)

These boots were exactly what I was looking for, in terms of style. I tried four pairs of Frye boots but they do not compare in comfort or style. When they say the leather is soft, they mean it. It feels great to touch. It does scuff, though not easily, but it only adds to the character. I am not a fan of the brown, it just seemed off, so I got the grey which is beautiful. They go great with black and jeans. In the month I have owned them I have worn them hiking, walking city streets, and through snow. My only complaint, and why they do not get five stars, is that the rubber and wood on the heel is sightly detached in a ¼" area on the very back of the heel. They run true to size, slightly narrow, not much arch support so if you have high arches they may not be comfortable.

This boot is really good looking and super comfortable; however, I have had mine for about three months now and the heels are starting to peel off the sole of the shoe. They haven’t been through any sort of unusual wear and tear; I’ve just worn them around the city and to work, I've alternated them with other shoes, so it's not like I was wearing them for three months straight. They're not super worn at all in the heel area, it's just as if the glue is giving and allowing the heels to peel off. Tried crazy-gluing them back down to remedy the issue- but disappointed as I did pay this price for them. :(
