Way nicer than the Dansko shoe. The Patent leather is very shiny and pretty like you would expect from patent leather. Comfy and fits true to size. It's a work shoe that actually looks stylish. It's not stiff like the Dansko and...wait for it...it's cheaper! Very happy with this purchase.

I live in Pennsylvania and want a warm, comfortable shoe to wear with socks in the winter. These are fabulous! Give you height without putting any stress on the ball of your foot... and have plenty of room. The navy is very dark, could pass for black. Love 'em! Highly recommend.

I order these in a size 9. I order my shoe on 12/22/11 and received them on 12/24/11. These shoes are very comfortable and they fit well. I really love them. I go back to work on 12/25, I will try them out in the emergency room for four hours. I post you all back with the results.

These shoes are great. I haven't been happy with Bjorn or Dansko for work lately. Too bulky, tight and stiff. I brainstormed to what I used to wear when I first started in the restaurant biz and I remembered I bought Nurse Mates over and over, so I tried them again...and I'm so glad I did. These are the lightest work shoe I've ever had. Very cushy on the inside too. Comfy in every way including over the top of the foot. The only problem I had was after a long shift on the first day, my toes were a little sore but that's only because I chose this heel height..which I need. After a couple of days, I was used to the height and have had no issues whatsoever. The shoe is a little narrow, in style, not fit but I absolutely love it and believe Nurse Mates will be my new favorite work shoe brand in the future. Can't beat the price either.. Highly recommend. :)

I like these shoes. I'd worn Danskos for years before, but they always put too much pressure on the top of my foot and were a little bit narrow. These have a lot more motion and flexibility in the top panel, plus they are one of the few shoes I've had that come in a true wide width. They also have a very cushy sole. They are nice looking under work pants, not super stylish (hey, they're clogs after all). Overall, a great work shoe.

Best nursing shoes I have ever bought! I'm very particular, and my feet are very sensitive -- blister easily, get sore easily. More comfortable than my Danskos by far, and for me, very true to size. My foot is a little bit on the wide side (not enough to need to buy "wide", but definitely not narrow). I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort and quality of this shoe.

Very comfy, very cute shoes! I've worn these Nurse Mates Bryar in black matte for 3 months now, and still love them. (By the way, use some oil or polish every few weeks to make them shine, keeps them looking like new for longer.) I typically wear a 7.5, and these felt true to size; no adjusting to a smaller or bigger size. The shoes are flattering on the foot, not clunky or heavy-looking. My foot is small, but I imagine even a larger foot would make friends with this flattering shoe. They are light-weight, too. I wear them every day. I can wear them without socks or with heavy socks, no problem. They stay warm and dry. For a little added comfort I put some foam pieces in the toe, but that's just me. The shoe is contoured (flatter and comfort factors), so it took a day or two to feel 'normal' in them. My toes rubbed against the top of the shoe at first, but it was nothing that some tiny self-adhesive bandages or mole cloth couldn't handle. Golly, did Zappos ship them fast! We're talking 48 hours fast. And the shoe box came in another shipping box, so it was protected...very good. I enjoy the shoe thoroughly, hope to get them in navy blue patent. And Zappos will continue to be my go-to store. So happy!

Wow, these shoes are awesome! I bought these shoes for work (I am a nurse) and they are perfect. They are super comfortable, have excellent support, and have a memory foam sole that heat activates to mold to my foot. After seeing other nurses wearing these, I decided to get some to replace my athletic shoes that I was currently wearing. I am so glad I made the change. Nurse Mates have been making great nursing shoes for years, and these are no exception. I bought the black and the white, and would gobble up any other colors that were made available!

They seem very well made and are quite comfortable. They look nice with slacks and jeans, and the 2 inch heel gives them a dressier edge. As other reviewers have noted, I would definitely recommend ordering a half size larger than your normal size, as they seem to run small. They felt a bit narrow at first, but after a couple of hours of wear, they were fine. My only wish is that they came in brown or tan!

I love these shoes. I work a 12 shift in labor and delivery and my feet don't hurt. The first day I wore them, they felt tight across the top of my foot but have broke in nicely. I get lots of compliments on the stylish color. I would definitely buy them again.

These shoes are definitely cute, but I had to return them. Like another reviewer mentioned, my foot slipped down uncomfortably to the front of the shoe. And I'm just stubborn enough to refuse to go through the gymnastics of pads and all to get comfort shoes to feel good.
