I have the black pair in 3x, I ordered up to have a little more room (I like things a little big on me). I wear them when I exercise and they keep me cool and dry. A little expensive for me though.

I bought the red plum in 2x and that was a mistake; they are too short in length. In these types of shorts always better to order up. I wished they had more color options and order more 3x's.

I loved my shorts it is really hard to find my size. They where just perfect and I love Zappos because I can find stuff here that I cannot find anywhere else and they always provide fast and free shipping.

These shorts are very nice and I can tell they are made of high quality. However, the shorts are quite short in length. I would expect if Nike is willing to make extended sizes, then the shorts would be longer. I recommend wearing compression shorts underneath these shorts.

I was wary to try running shorts because all shorts I've ever owned ever, in the history of my life, have ridden up and been uncomfortable. After reading the reviews of these shorts on several websites and from seemingly people my size, I decided to give them a try. I figured if they didn't work for running, they would at least be okay for lounging around. I wore them to run today and they did ride up and after a while they did chafe, and I didn't even run two miles. Like I said, I like them for lounging around, and they don't ride up when I'm walking, but I don't think I will run in them again. Unlike some of the other reviewers I did not think they were too short. They are very comfortable, even with the brief lining, which I did not have experience with. Before going back to strictly compression shorts, I think I'll try the Nike Phantom shorts, which have a compression layer underneath them. Other than that, I'm pleased with the fit and the material of the shorts, as I usually am with Nike products. And shipping was fast and painless with Zappos as usual!
Brands I'd also recommend: Nike, Brooks, Mizuno, Thorlo
