Great looking shoe. Thick sole. a little narrow in the toe but my foot is a little wide. Plus when you have a size 14 you can't be too picky.

Comfortable shoe with an retro feel. I call them my old man shoes but they are really comfortable. Nice casual shoe.

Overall, I really like the shoe. It has a nice classic style that goes great with jeans. The Waffle Trainer is also a very comfortable shoe to wear with some small adjustments. Those adjustments being replacing the insole for a thinner one. I did this for two reasons: one the shoe is a little narrow and a thinner insole brings the foot down into a wider portion of the shoe. Two, the original insole makes the shoe very warm inside. This shoe is better for fall and maybe even snowless days of winter because your foot will get hot. Changing the insole did make it a little cooler wear it is bearable in the summer but still it's kind of warm. If they where to redesign this shoe I would recommend making it a little wider and improving the air circulation in the shoe, but nothing else.

I just got my shoes out of the box, and I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong they are nice shoes, just not the shoes for me. I was expecting better shoes to train in, rather than just a good looking shoe. I mean they are called trainers, right? Also they were also bigger than I was expecting. I order the same size as all my Nike's in the past and they had room at the front and in the back.
