New Balance Classics

These shoes are great. My husband has a large wide foot and hates shopping. this is the fourth pair of shoes I have purchased for him and Zappos has never never disappointed us. Thanks Zappos!

Bought these for my son. He used them for middle school track. He said that they fit well. My son has large feet, and I was glad to be able to find these shoes in his size.

Great look for an all purpose sneaker, I found this shoe to be very versatile. It's great for any occasion whether that be going to the gym, hanging out with friends, or part of your casual Friday wardrobe. It is a bit small but once you give time to break it in, it'll stretch out a bit.

After only two months of regular not-every-day use, these shoes have already fallen apart. I would not buy them again -- New Balance has clearly lowered their standards over the years.

Fit is narrow. Top Seam, where top, side and stretch panels come together is very thick, hard and uncomfortable. Look great - feel nasty. As always, easy return - sorry to say.

I was so excited to get these shoes, as I love New Balance and have five other pairs. They are by far the most comfortable exercise shoe brand out there (though I love Merrell for winter slip-ons and Ahnu for my hiking books/ice walkers). I put on this model of New Balance running shoe "mules" and my size 10½M feet were swimming in these shoes! I double and triple checked, but I was sent the size I asked for. It just seems like I maybe this shoe is a man's style or unisex or something, because it is easily large enough to fit a 12½W woman's foot, or a man's 8½M one, maybe. Immensely huge style on me, and yet my other New Balance shoes range from women's 10½-11M, and fit like a glove. I should have paid attention to the reviewer who said she normally took a women's 9½, but bought an 8 in this style. I am not sure if going down 1½ sizes would be enough for me: the Women's 10½M I received had a footbed that was a full 1¼" too long and even the thickest hiking sock I own would not have kept the shoes on my feet for more than two steps. Besides, I wanted these for barefoot summer wear, so socks were out. I also tried to put in a size 41 Birkenstock total footbed orthotic. The shoes were still way too large. I sent these back and I have ordered another New Balance slide-type running shoe in a size 10. So I still have some hope for this style and slip-on convenience with the great New Balance footbed and support/fit.

These shoes are awesome. This was my first time shopping with zappos and I was very impressed. Shipped within a couple of days and was exactly what I ordered. However, I don't know whether it is New Balance or just this particular shoe. I wouldnt go as far as saying the shoe size was a half size too small, but it was definitely more snug than all my other shoes. I walked around in them a little while and they stretched out a little. After that, they were just fine.

Fantastic sneakers. I wear them for everyday use, not for running or working out (which is what they're likely intended for), but they suit me just fine. Definitely would buy these again. They look exactly like the picture shows.

I have had a pair of these for years! Very comfortable and easy to slip into. I can't wait for my new pair to arrive!

I got these in wide width and they fit perfectly. They're suede and keep my feet dry on rainy days (even though the shoes themselves get soaked).

These shoes are wonderful. I bought them to use around the house as I have plantar fasciitis and cannot walk around barefoot anymore. They are extremely comfortable and cushiony.

I wanted red sneakers in a wide width, and I knew that New Balance could accommodate me. Unfortunately, the initially pair of 10.5 EE's I recently were surprisingly too narrow. I had never had NB sneakers cut that narrow. Zappos enthusiastically send out a replacement order. I found the same problem. But I loved the look of the shows, and they were MOSTLY comfortable. I have them two weeks. The discomfort was gone. They truly needed to be broken in. And now I love them.

These shoes are very well made but not quite as cute as I thought they would be. The top panel looks a bit like wet suit material and somehow it just made the shoes feel a bit like "old lady shoes." They were initially very comfortable and will probably work great for people with healthy feet but they didn't have enough cushion or arch support for me. I have Plantar Fasciitis and I am a moderate over pronator (things I found out after buying these shoes) so I needed more than these shoes were designed to give. Not the shoes' fault.

This shoe is completely different from the ones I bought a few months ago! The style is completely different! The is heavier and thicker. What happened to the mesh for a more breathable shoe?

This is a cute shoe, slim and light like I wanted, and the colors are super...but...it's going back! Way too small! I am almost always a size 5, sometimes even a 4.5, but this was so tight I could barely get my foot in it. When I did get it on, it felt like my toes were folded. Exchanging this for a full size larger.

I had high hopes for these, but the moment I put them on, it was over. I wear a wide width, so I understand when some wides aren't quite wide enough, but the stretch elastic part of this shoe feels like sandpaper on the top of my feet. Instant 'no' for me. Back to my Easy Spirit Traveltime reliable slip-ons.

This shoe is quite comfortable especially for my somewhat wide feet. I love the design, it reminds me of an old school sneaker but with modern comfort.

Like most New Balance, these shoes ran a little small for me. Initially I ordered my normal size but I had to send them back for the next size up. I wore them on vacation right out of the box and they were instantly comfortable, no break-in period. I mainly wear them without socks and love the fit, feel and look!

These worked out perfect for me. I use them for golf and found they are really comfortable. Had lots of comments from my sons how great the look, also by the guys I golf with...for the price it made sense to purchase these at Zappos.com.

Have been wearing 574s on and off for 10 years; they're perfect everyday sneakers, good for walking or the gym. Only complain with the all-black colorway is that the "N" on the side and the rear heel upper are shiny, not matte like the rest of the shoe. But that's a minor aesthetic quibble. Great value, and importantly available in wide sizes.
