It is the design of the phone holder to use without case so that you can talk, surf, text, and answer the phone while it's in the armband! It's amazing. You can answer it while on a run with it still on your arm, and have your whole conversation without having to take it off your arm or out of the case. It's slim and sleek and doesn't flop around while you are running.

My only issue is trying to find the right way to wear it. If it's too much to the front then your leg will bounce it with each step. But if you wear it to the back then it's harder to grab for a drink. I will figure it out. Love the storage and the ability to be hands free while out for a jog or walk.

Eye-catching indeed! I'd turn to look at this guy wearing a pink vest any day of the week.

You cannot use this over an iPhone case. It is very slim and is designed for those who carry the phone without a case. That is not me, so it is going back.

I, like so many other runners, have struggled to find hydration devices that are comfortable and meet my needs. I'm pretty small - 5'4 and 109 lbs - so most hydration back packs are too large for me. The Nathan Intensity is a decent fit for my small frame, although still a little larger than I'd like around the rib cage. I also really need pockets that I can access w/o taking the pack off so I can get to gels, tissues, camera, etc. This pack has several front pockets that fit my needs. I have used the pack on three 10-mile trail runs and found that after I get the pack on and start running, I adjust quickly to the weight and feel of it. I'm only giving 4 stars because I find that the straps loosen a bit while I run, and I have to adjust them several times during my outings. Also, the tubing does not come off easily for cleaning, and the fitting between bladder and tube came apart leaving the fitting in the bladder. I believe the fitting is suppose to come out of the bladder. Also, as others have expressed, the bite valve and/or bladder do have an unpleasant taste, but I'm getting used to it. Overall I'm happy with it. Time will tell as I get into summer months whether it makes me too hot or is still comfy with tank tops.

It gave us the exact amount of light we needed for the early morning run and late walks. the Micro USB plug in at the battery is cheaply soldered and broke after 5 uses so we sent it back and ordered a new one.

I bought this bag for a fishing trip during thanksgiving on the beach. It was great to add gear and really anything. I was happy the sand was easily washed. It's also bigger than expected and it is very lightweight. It really is an "everything" bag.

I have no idea what this thing is for so I am not your target consumer but that grown man in that tiny pink vest looks ridiculous. Sorry...

Battery pack is a little big, obviously detectable on initial wearing, but like anything else pressure points fade over time.

I haven't used this on a run, yet, but I noticed after walking outside in the dark to test it that the light is not as bright as I was anticipating. This product functions less as a light to run with, but rather more of a device to be noticed by drivers. Although I was hoping it would replace my head lamp, I'm still going to keep it due to it's comfort and the obvious safety advantages. I have a large head for a woman, but the S/M fits well.

I wasn't sure if this would work for my ultramarathon training, but it's been awesome. It replaced larger camelbak pack I had with a waist belt. I was worried the Nathan would move around too much with all the trail running especially - Not an issue at all. This thing has been awesome. I prefer the Camelbak bladder but this is pretty good as well, the bladder just feels thinner so I worry about it more. It hasn't leaked in over 500 miles so it's a solid performer with just the right amount of space for everything I need.

I think this is a great, functional running water bottle and I have used it on many 8+mile runs. The pouch/pocket is a great size for keys, ID, etc. I have trouble keeping the strap tight enough, but I have very skinny hands. The grip is pretty natural (and I have super long fingers so I would expect it would work for men as well). I agree that the bottle does feel a little slimy if you put cold liquids in and then go running in heat/humidity, but what water bottle wouldn't get condensation. The bottle is easy to drink from and easy to open/close while running.

Ordered and received my Nathan Trail Mix running belt with water bottles 2 days ago and, after reading some negative reviews about bottle leakage, I decided I needed to put it to a good test immediately. Took a 10.5 mile run and the belt felt and worked fantastic! It felt snug and comfortable the entire time, and never bounced once. Loved the snap closure and just enough elasticity to the belt. The velcro tabs to secure the excess belt ends was a nice addition. The two bottles stayed snug and secure and never splashed, spit or leaked a bit, from full to empty. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

As my first running water bottle, I think this one is "OK." I find myself changing hands every couple of miles because it starts to feel pretty slimy with my sweaty hands on the plastic. My husband has one also and it's a bit tight on his hands and he has rather average sized man hands. The pocket is a good size and fits my iPhone 5 with its case. Overall, I think the size of the bottle is good, it looks nice, and it serves it's purpose. I'd prefer if it didn't feel so slimy and if the hand grip was a bit larger.

As a runner who is slowly progressing towards marathons, I found myself in need of more water during my runs. I had heard about Nathan through some of my running friends, and decided to give the Trail Mix a try. I am so glad that I did. The belt is so comfortable I forget that it is there half the time. The flasks are super squeezy with easy to open caps - plus the caps are soft so they do not bang against my teeth like other bottles that I have had. The pocket is great for carrying my phone and keys, as well as my jelly beans (gotta keep my sugar up on long runs!). Plus, I love the color! All around, I could not be more pleased with this purchase, and will definitely purchase more Nathan products in the future.

Love it! It holds just enough water for 3-5 mile runs -- any more than that, or if you like to drink a lot while you're running, and I think you'd need a larger bottle. I waffled between this and the larger, 22 oz. bottle, but I'm glad I went for the smaller size. It's super light and the hand strap is great; I don't even notice the bottle once I put it on.

I got this water bottle for medium and long runs during my half marathon training. The shape is perfect for fitting into your hand and easily taking a sip without losing stride; I barely even noticed it because the strap holds it in place without holding/gripping it. I have taken it on several 10+ mile jogs and it doesn't leak. I also love the little pouch (which seems pretty waterproof) that can hold a key, money, credit card, bandaids, etc. For me, the 10 oz capacity is perfect. I tend to have to refill it around 8 or 9 miles, but I would personally rather have to refill than carry more weight.

This is the first water carrier for running I've ever bought, so I might be jaded, but this thing is wicked. Other standard size bike bottles will fit in it. You can operate your touch screen phone fairly well through the clear protector. There is a space behind where you place your phone to stash other stuff (keys, gels). Great buy for the price!

I bought this in January to wear while riding my bicycle early in the mornings while dark. I missed the fact it was led lit in the description so imagine my delight to find them!! just have one issue with one of the led strips not staying on the full ride but I am positive we can rectify that very easily. I would recommend this to my friends! thanks!
