Overall:

Overall, these are nice, comfortable shoes for everyday wear. Stability: another reviewer mentioned feeling unstable. I felt that way on the first few days, but then the footbed started to mold to my feet, so now they slide around a lot less. I wouldn't recommend these for days when the streets are icy, or for when you will be walking all day, but for a casual day at the office, or for running errands, they are great. Style: I like substantial, comfortable shoes in the winter, but Danskos and most flat boots are way too clunky for me. These strike a nice balance; solid but sleek. They are plain enough that nobody will stop you on the street to ask you about them, but I like that. They will go with almost everything in my closet. One final note: these don't look like pumps, but they are high-heeled. Since I always wore flats before, some of my pants are too short to wear with these heels. Otherwise I'd wear them every day.

This is a great shoe. I already had a black pair and now have a cherry patent pair also. They fit well as the straps make them adjustable. They have a very comfortable sole. They work well on my quite narrow foot.

I love this boot in particular and Naots in general. The info online said this model tended to run narrow, but I did not find it to be the case. They look great, are very comfortable, and did not require breaking in. Aside from padding around the house in them, I wore them for the first time on an all day shopping trip. No problem.

I truly love the versatility of these shoes, mostly for the comfort, but they are also sexy. Can be worn casual or with formal attire. My feet are a little wide, but this shoe gives the visual appearance of my foot being slimmer because of the style. The leather soles are super-comfortable. My foot just glides into them so smoothly. I wore them every day in a recent trip to Hawaii. They are comfortable enough to walk in for a couple of hours of daytime window shopping or going out for a few evening hours. These will definitely be my favorite summer shoe. Also, the "bronze" color goes with everything.

I've been searching for a black sandal that can be dressed up or down, look cute, and not completely murder my feet. After reading mixed reviews regarding heft/clunkiness of this sandal, I decided to go for it. Well, the four interlocking straps over the toes were just thick to suit my intended need, and I returned the sandal. I will say, however that this sandal was comfortable and cute, especially the shape of the heel. It would work well with pants or casual skirts (I'm thinking denim). So don't write it off if you are looking for a casual sandal, but if you want something a tad more dressy, I would advise you keep looking.

Naots are the best! And this shoe is Naot at its finest. Comfortable, cute, and perfect for a foot that has some ouchy spots. No breaking in necessary. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I liked them so much, in fact, that I bought a pair for my best friend who has developed some arthritis in her feet. She loves hers, too!

Really impressive at first. The Naot Matai didn't have much staying power. These shoes were the first shoes I'd been professionally fit for since I was twelve. After 15 years of buying pinching, cheap, too-narrow, too-small shoes with no support or cushioning to speak of, I finally wised up, and went to a specialty footwear retailer in my town. The first time I put these shoes on, it was like a revelation. They were more comfortable than being barefoot, and heaps more comfortable than any sneaker I've ever owned. I was walking on air, and I felt like I was walking on a cloud, too. I walk to work (less than two miles each day), but I have an office job. I kept these clean and only wore them in dry weather, but was really disappointed with the way they endured. After a month, the strap detached from the shoe, and I had to have them repaired. After three months (not of daily wear, either, because I bought these in the spring and I tend to wear my Birks all summer), the footbed on these was torn apart and really compressed. A year later, they've been in for repair three more times. The last time I brought them in, the person who took my shoes asked me "what are they, ten years old?" The icing on the cake is that the footbed hurts my feet now, and a day in these will leave my feet (I have bunions, but nothing extreme) stiff and aching. Maybe the pair I bought were a dud, but I'd be really hesitant to recommend these shoes to anyone who plans to wear them for more than six weeks.

I bought the Kayla to wear on a trip to France and they were terrific! I have narrow feet (usually a 7.5) and bought size 39 and they are perfect. (I was told this style runs a little short.) My feet feel great when I wear them; so much so, I have been wearing them as slippers!

I have had issues with plantar fasciitis, so I have to be really careful about the shoes that I buy. Although rather expensive, these shoes were so instantly comfortable, they were well worth it! I can wear them for hours and not suffer with any foot pain issues. And they are cute, though I am not exactly a "metallic" trim kind of girl! Would love some in a slightly "tamer" finish, but otherwise, the best shoes I have.

I just adore these shoes. They are so comfortable. I can wear them all day and walk for hours in them. They are really attractive too. Today I wore them in a rsnow storm and they were waterproof. I want more colors.

What a pleasant surprise. These shoes are extremely comfortable. I can wear these all day, go for long walks, etc. and not think about my feet. The advice about getting them one size smaller is so true. I am hooked and will try other Naots.

I love these boots. They are super comfy and really cute. The only problem I have is that they are a little big on me and I ordered my regular size. I normally wear an 8-8 1/2 and got these in a 39, but they are a little big. I just wear thick socks because I love them so much, but be careful.

Fantastic! First shoe in my 67 years that make my feet feel better with my shoes on! Roomy for my toes, great arch support, heel does not slip, strap does not touch the arthritic bone on top of my foot. They are so comfortable and at my age, that is all that matters - and my grandchildren think they're cool.

These are very comfortable shoes but I am not as happy with the style. They look cute with pants but I wear mostly skirts and the location of the strap is not very flattering.

Nice looking shoes. Maybe a 1/2 size smaller than normal size for me. If you want to wear them with socks for walking, they may be too small. Tended to be somewhat less than a medium width. The cushioning on the top of the heel was too high for me. Unfortunately, I had to return them. A disappointment since I love the Naot comfort.

Possibly the most comfortable shoe I've ever put on my feet. Even more comfy than sneaks. Very squishy insole. Heels don't slip. Perfect width, I have a wide-ish foot. Lot of room for my toes to move around. Quick and easy to throw on my feet. Excellent arch support. My ankle has been sore for 2 weeks since I stepped in a hole and now after wearing these for just one day I'm not limping anymore and the swelling has gone down a lot. I'll definitely be getting this in other colors. Also, I often have trouble with shoes cutting into the top of my foot, but these don't.

I went through so many brands of shoes looking for the perfect Europe travel shoe. Qualifications being dressy, yet able to run and or walk for 12 plus miles a day and not be foot weary. These were the only ones that worked! I ran 5 miles in them to test them and they felt great, so I took them abroad and they proved highly worthy. So far out of all the brands of shoes I've taken overseas with me, this is the only brand that's worked every time and has never given me blisters!

Great boots, and I have lousy feet: hammer toe, bunions, one foot bigger than the other. And I could wear these all day to work! After about 8 hours it was time to change into my flats, but doesn't anyone say this? So, if you want a fun, stylish pair of low heeled boots, I would suggest these. Pricey, but Naot has great quality. This is my fifth pair (four sandals). I wish they made more low heeled boots!

I have all sorts of foot and leg problems from various accidents; these are the most comfortable shoes and the most feminine and attractive I've found. Favorites! All leather shoes stretch out a bit so if they are slightly snug (but the correct length), keep them.

I ordered the Naot Metal Leather/Black Suede in a size 39 and they are wonderful. These shoes are perfect with or without socks. I normally wear a narrow shoe, but with the velcro strap, they can be adjusted. Also, they are very attractive shoes to be worn with jeans, shorts or skirts. I also have a pair of Naot summer sandals. Anyone with any type foot problems, I would suggest trying these shoes. Zappos also does such a great job with immediate shipping and their return policy is unbeatable.

Very cute and comfortable. Let me preface this with the fact that I rarely wear heels. However, I love Naot shoes and really liked how these looked on the website. Honestly, they were about as close as I've come to actually keeping a pair of heels in a long time. Very comfortable, despite the heel. Not wobbly. The only reason I'm sending them back is that I can't keep all the shoes I ordered and I like a couple of other pairs slightly better. Otherwise, these would be keepers. Only complaint was that I'm used to square toes on my shoes and these made my feet look a little 'stubby'.

I have high arches and usually shoes cut into the top of my feet but these don\'t. Crazy comfortable, i.e. snug heel fit, my feet feel cradled, toebox is wide so I can wiggle, arches really supported. The width is great and I have a somewhat wide foot.\r\n

I have these shoes in both black and brown. They're even more comfortable than my other Naots. They are softer and easier to walk in. All Naots are super comfy. The brown color is prettier than the black and more distinctive, but I love both pairs. By the way, I have flat feet and heel spurs. These are still amazing shoes to wear all day and walk in for a mile or two.
