Overall:

I bought these shoes almost two months ago. I wanted some closed toed shoes to wear without socks. These fit that bill nicely and are excellent for those in-between temperatures in spring and fall. I have not worn them in hot weather yet. They keep my feet warm enough when it is 65-72 degrees. My feet aren’t too hot either as they breathe quite nicely via the holes in the top of the toe part. Note that the ankle strap is all velcro and very adjustable. Navy blue color is a nice shade. They are the comfort you expect from NAOT, I have 4 pairs of NOAT sandals, and one lace-up close toe shoe besides this pair. Love NAOT-so comfortable!

Super comfortable casual boot molded to my foot as if it were created just for me. I can stand in this boot all day without my feet hurting. Love the purple leather, as well!

Love these shoes, but they make me walk with my toes pointed in? I have to make an effort to make my feet hit the floor "normally" and this makes my feet hurt. If you look at the shoe from the bottom, you will see how they appear to curve "in". Bummer.

I love the Naot Pleasure style. It is great with pants or skirts and gives me the height I need with comfort. I have three colors and will get more. All I wear now is Naot. So comfortable. I normally wear 7.5 narrow and can wear size 38 in this.

If you are looking for soft, flexible comfort, these shoes, along with the Matai, are great. If you are looking for unusual and amusing style, you got it, although I would agree with another comment that the strap is a little high on the foot (in black shoe, brown strap lining easily shows also) and socks look funny. If you are looking for a lining that is entirely leather, these are not it -- the front of the toe area is synthetic. I also ordered the 11, knowing I often wear 11.5 and reading that these run large. At this size, they do not -- bare toes just hit the end. Moderate to excellent arch support for low arches. Must add really well-made, too.

Love this brand...Best shoes ever...especially if you have arch or heel problems! I just ordered the Hikaru in a size 8 based upon product info that the shoe was running large. I am a true 9 and was disappointed when I received the shoe as it was to short. No worries I re-ordered my normal size 9 and it's being delivered overnight so I'll only have to wait one more day!

Excellent fit and comfort. Silver straps give it a sexy look and will complement your skin tone. Great to wear with skirts.

This was the most expensive pair of shoes I have ever purchased. I really liked the design of the shoe and that was all I could tell from the picture on the website. But when I tried them on! Wow! They were comfortable and stylish. I have received many compliments when wearing them. They are worth the price.

I was so impressed with Zappos customer service that I am motivated to write this review. I have short narrow flat feet. It is very hard for me to find shoes (especially sandals) that fit, are very comfortable, give some good arch support and still look fashionable. I wear a size 6 narrow. I tried 3 different Mephisto styles, but they proved to be too wide for my feet. With Zappos there was no hassle or cost with returning these shoes. The Naot Kate was a keeper for me. The two straps are excellent for adjusting to narrow feet and I love the lighter color and the way they dress up or down with the fun jeweled buckles. The footbed is very comfortable, too. I would highly recommend this style for ladies who have narrow feet and want a fashionable comfortable shoe that you can walk around in all day long.

Love these shoes... very very comfortable. Wear them to work and for play and always get compliments on how they look. Not as clunky looking as some of their shoes so appreciate the style. Had to get 1/2 size smaller than usual. Have a couple other pairs of Naots and they all are very comfy... definitely worth the price.

I bought the Naot Matai because of the reviews... and found them to be true! The arch support is superior, and that’s of primary importance to me since I have plantar fasciitis and tend to have pain if the support isn’t good enough. I ordered 1/2 size smaller, due to the reviews, and I find I cannot wear nylons and socks with them, so I’ll save them for a little warmer weather. I foresee ordering these same shoes in more than one color, since they are adorable, comfortable, and if they hold up as reviewed, well worth the price.

I LOVE these shoes!! I bought them for an upcoming trip and started wearing them to "break them in". They are fantastic. First of all they didn't even need breaking in since they were super comfortable the first time I put them on. I get lots of compliments on them as well (I have the black too). Excellent arch support and very comfortable to walk in all day.

This pair of shoes will be my "go to" shoes for walking around Paris in May. They are so comfortable. I have trouble finding comfortable shoes, suffering from a bunion and high arches and these shoes fit like a glove. The color will go fine with either the black or brown mix-and-match outfits I have planned. The service from Zappo's is excellent. I had ordered a 39 (size 8) but returned for a 38 (size 7). Naot shoes seem to run big, so order a size down and even if the size is wrong, Zappos free shipping to and from makes an error just a minor inconvenience.

Pricey but well worth the money! I ordered the patent leather very sexy but too shiny for me. Then ordered the black leather...love it! Wear all the time…very comfortable and so cute. Have back and knee problems but have no problem wearing these boots for hours. Have walked miles in them without foot fatigue. Get lots of compliments on them. They stand up really well so will look good for next season. Will buy another pair before the winter is over.

I first bought the black/hash version of this shoe. I was amazed. I have a hard time finding shoes that don’t rub my little toes, which are way down the side of my foot where shoe designers never thought they might be. The funny duckbill shape of the Matai seems to accommodate every toe in comfort. Plus, the slanted strap doesn’t rub on my [high] instep. Plus, they are almost ridiculously comfortable: padded yet strong and supportive. So now I am hooked, a Naot junkie. I bought the lime green, and would buy more if they were in colors that worked for me. I did try the larger size, as directed, but the 39, my normal size, worked better. Happy feet!

I was planning a quick trip to Florida and needed a comfortable sandal with a good footbed. Naots are wonderful for all of my foot issues, plantar fasciitis being the primary problem. I needed the sandal quickly and Zappos had them at my door the next day! They are comfortable and basically wearable right from the box. The width is not as wide as other Naots, so one foot did take a bit of wear before it was loose enough for walking long distances. They are nice looking, a little dressier because of the metallic, but not overly flashy. Zappos and Naots… a great team.

These are the most comfortable and best looking sandal you will ever own. I bought the black patent leather and they look elegant. You can wear them with almost anything and your feet will feel great. I wore them on a walking tour!

Super comfortable sandal. Was looking for a slide on sandal with arch support, this one is fantastic! I especially like the extra strap at the top of the sandal that keeps it from flopping around so much (like a flip flop), gives extra support.

Comfortable right out of the box and beautiful. I love these shoes. If the price was lower, I would order another pair! The "leaves" are just perfect to feminize the shoe. It’s so comfortable and quiet walking on hard floors. It could be dressed up or casual. I just love it. I wear a 7.5 and it fit perfectly.

I LOVE this boot! It is SUPER comfortable and a really funky style. I went a half size up (I’m an 8.5 so I ordered a size 9) and they fit perfectly. The quality of the stitching and the sole is excellent. My only complaint is that I ordered the boot with the steel accent thinking it was grey (as it looked in the picture), but it turned out to be more blue - not my favourite colour of choice. However, I love the look of this boot so much that the blue colour is growing on me.

Squeaky gremlins - don't get them wet!I accidentally wore these in the rain once and ever since they squeak so loudly I'm embarrassed to wear them indoors. I took them to a repair place where they glued the insoles down but it didn't help. They also scuffed faster and worse than any shoes I've ever had, although it's finally starting to look natural. They are beautiful and comfortable but the design is flawed.

Very cute in person. The leather is a bluish color that is nicely neutral. I have wide feet, but even these are a little too wide around. They would be good for swollen feet.
