Best Shoe Ever...
I wore these to my high school reunion and danced in them for hours...while everyone else's feet were killing them the next morning I had no problem. And they looked unbelievable!!! I would buy these in every color if I could.

Truly well-made shoe in an era of cheap junk. And the green color is stunning. They run very true to width. My foot is the wide end of B and I can just squeeze into them.

I just received these shoes yesterday and am wearing them as I type this review. I absolutely love them and have received many compliments today from my 7th grade students. I have been told by my students that I am one of the best dressed teachers at our middle school because of my great shoe collection. The patent orange are my 3rd pair of Kork-ease I have purchased in the past 2 1/2 years. I previously purchased the Ava style in dark brown leather with the suede covered platform in size 38. The straps stretched out a bit after much wear and tear. These were my "go-to" shoes and I literally wore them out. I decided to purchase a size 37 in the orange patent. I normally wear a 7 1/2 but I decided to order down to the nearest whole size. I am happy I did this. They fit much better than my previous 38's. The straps are not loose and the footbed is the proper length for my foot. I highly recommend these shoes. Don't let the color scare you. They look great with neutral colored clothing.

I oogled the Ava II in white patent for a year before finally forking over the bucks. No regrets. They are somewhat narrow in the ball of the foot. I use shoe stretchers all the time to break in new shoes. They worked perfectly and I love the Ava, very comfy and stylish. I generally wear an 8.5 or 9.0, but the Size 8 is perfect with room to spare. I now want the silver ones!

Got them in orange - very nice shoes, classic yet noticeable, look good with jeans and skirts, comfortable so far, even though I have not gone thru long walks yet.

If you are even remotely considering these don't wait another second. They are not only cute, go with anything from a summer dress to capris or jeans, but they are UNBELIEVABLEY comfortable. They make your leg look great, they are very light, and they are very cute. The platform is balanced so that they wear the same as flats.

I cannot tell you how cute these shoes are, especially in the orange! However, they run extremely narrow with no cushioning of the insole. I was so disappointed with the fit - I don't remember this problem when I wore Kork-Ease in the 70s! If you have a medium to wide foot, think before you order... it's too bad because the orange color rocks!

Adequate, practical but could use some flair.
Have only worn around the house so far but these shoes are very, very comfortable, light-weight and give me the additional height I was looking for without the pain. I would like this shoe even better if the styling could be improved so that it doesn't look so clunky.

Expensive but awesome - Though these shoes are inexplicably expensive, I wear them almost every day...so on a cost per wear basis they're definitely worth it. Very light and very comfortable, and surprisingly easy to wear even on uneven ground or to stand around in for hours. They seem to run slightly large, so if you are in between sizes, go down.

Love my Kork-Ease- it brings me back to my high school days in the 70's-
As always- Zappos is the BEST- second to none with customer service and selection. I wish there were payment plans- I would love some Pucci shoes!!~!~

Love the Kork-Ease!
I have the regular leather type, and it's all I can do to not wear them every day! They are majestically comfortable, and adjust to my wide feet. The patent leather ones, sadly, I found too tight. These shoes make me feel tall and skinny and cool. I can walk in them all day. I wish there was a winter style!

The Best Shoes Ever -
I Love my kork ease so much, I wear them everywhere, if I could afford I would have them in every color. They are extremely comfortable, like wearing nothing.

Size down!!
Just got my shoes in the mail. I debated long and hard whether or not to size up or down. I am a true 7.5. I decided to size up. Wrong! My foot slips in them as they are loose in the front of the foot area. I had to go and get cushion soles to put in them. So if anyone is wondering, they run a little wide and big.

They fit small feet terribly!!! I probably should have returned them, they fit so bad. The straps over the toes have about an inch gap between the underside of the straps and the tops of my toes. It seems like when they sized the shoe down to fit a size 5 that they sized it horizontally but did not think that a smaller foot might be smaller vertically as well. It feels like my feet are just rattling around in the shoe because the front straps are so loose. I have to buckle them really tight to wear them at all and sometimes that rubs around my ankle area. Extremely uncomfortable!!! The bed of the sandal seems right for my size but the straps seem like they would fit a full size up or more.

This is a great shoe. I love it. It is so comfortable I can wear it all day- worth every penny. I am a 6 1/2 and ordered the 7. It is a little big on my smaller foot, but better than the 6 would be, I think.

Retro and modern -
LOVE my new Kork-Ease sandals... they are a perfect fit, and even with the high sole, they don't wobble and are easy to walk the city in. I've gotten so many compliments on their stylishness - they're both retro and modern and so I wear them to work and to go out. Wish I could get a pair in each color...

Maybe I have sensitive baby toes, but they pinch in these shoes. Plus, I am used to serious comfort shoes - but these have been a dream of mine for years! They are so cute! I still love them, but if I had known how they would feel, I may have gone for Naot or Dansko...

Not as comfortable as the "original"-
I have two pair of Kork-Ease that I purchased last year and LOVE. One of those is a 38 and the other a 37 and both fit well and are comfortable.
I ordered this pair in both the 37 and the 38 and neither are comfortable. The problem is that the shoe is made with a lip around the foot bed. In order to be really comfortable your foot must fit within the lip perfectly. Even if it does, as you walk your foot moves and hits the lip.
They are a great looking shoe and if they fit well, I would order multiple pair. I would stay away from this one unless you can get the fit 100% right.

These shoes are the cutest ever. If you are on the fence about them, jump off and get yours soon. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned with this heel height. I love, love, love them. As soon as I can, I am ordering in more colors.

Been waiting to buy this shoe forever -
So happy with this shoe. I've wanted them since I saw them in the Sundance Catalogue. They are cute and comfortable. I wear them for hours (16+) at a time with no problems.

Great shoe -
This is my first pair of Kork-Ease. Love them. They were immediately comfortable. They look great. The shoe felt a bit narrow, but the leather gives so it isn't a problem. They felt comfortable all day the first time I wore them. After reading other reviews I'll try to take good care of them - I definitely want them to last more than one season.

Love them!
I am extremely happy with these shoes---and I have lots of foot issues. The foot bed is wonderful with great support under both the metatarsal area and the arch... The cork sole is very forgiving-no need to watch it getting scuffed because it hides everything. Great choice!!!

Ava II Black Buff -
I was looking for a shoe that would look great with dresses at work and be comfortable enough to actually wear to work...I found it! Ava II looks great, gives height, and is comfortable. There was a little rubbing on the top on first wear...but no problem after that. EVERYONE wanted to know where I found these!
