These are the most comfortable flip flops ever! I have flat feet and need arch support. These give great support. I can actually walk long distances in these.

This is a very comfortable sandal. It is true to size, however, the instep is a little high. I don't think that heat molding it to your foot has that much of an impact on the overall fit. I am trying to get used to the squeaking noise they make when walking on hardwood floors. I definitely cannot sneak up on anyone. They are not very stylish and definitely a beach sandal.

I have plantar fasciitis and have been struggling to find a shoe I can wear comfortably. When I\'m wearing the Molokini there\'s no pain at all, which is saying a lot. Now I have to find a shoe with the same comfort and style for year-round wear!

Great arch support, especially for flip flops. I bought one pair to wear as slippers in the house because I have had plantar fasciitis so walking bare foot on hard surfaces isn't recommended. The strap between the toes dug in on one side until I wore them more. I definitely recommend heating them up and molding them to your feet. They are definitely not as "cute" as other flip flops, but to me they just look "sportier", which I don't mind. I ended up buying another pair because they were so comfortable!

I absolutely love this sandal. I have had pain in my arches the last two years and can't walk on hard surfaces for more than 5 minutes anymore without discomfort. These shoes have saved me! The pain in my arches disappears the instant that I put these on. I have been wearing them for a year now and added to my collection of colors. I will be buying these shoes for a very long time. Just bought the color "Gypsy", which is my new favorite. They don't look frumpy at all. I am also very impressed with the fast delivery of Zappos!

These sandals are wonderful! I had been to the podiatrist with heel pain. He suggested wearing New Balance sneakers as well as my Dansko clogs. Both shoes were fine, but it was summer and I wanted sandals. I wear my Birkenstocks and Naots, but nothing keeps me pain-free like these Montrails! These are the best of all my shoes, sneakers and sandals. They have kept me pain free for the past month, so I guess it's time to buy some in different colors! My usual size 6 fits the best. They may look a bit "clunky", but who cares if they feel good?

I purchased these shoes for vacation to Florida. I am very disappointed with the comfort and sound they make when walking. I would not recommend them.

Fabulous! I searched and searched for comfortable flops at any price, because I wear a pair all summer. I forgot that they were meant to be 'molded' to my foot and wore them for a day, saying to myself, "man, these should be more comfortable than this for the price." Then I saw the sticker, sticking to my quilt and remembered. Wow! They now fit me like a glove, and everybody wants a pair! You get a little bonus when you mold them to your foot, because they are all warm and soothing. I read someone's review complaining that they were ugly. They are a little boat-like in the sole, but not 'trippy' because of it, and I never noticed until now (3 months after wearing them) when I read it.

Best I have found -
I am a flip flop junkie and own 30-40 pairs. These are by far the most comfortable I have ever found. I love them. They have a great arch and I can wear them all day without any problems. I plan to buy them in almost every color. They are well worth the investment---my feet thank you! :-)

VERY comfortable flip-flop. I heated and molded them to my feet and that's what made me a believer. I have some Simple and Havaianas flip-flops and these blow those out of the water. And sand. And pretty much every other surface. Great for walking and being on your feet. I love them!

These flip flops are great. They are very comfortable, and great to use around the house, inside and out. I have a medium arch in my right foot, and a high arch in my left foot; therefore; I am always in search for footwear that can support my high arch. My left foot also overpronates, and this flip flop supports it well. Lastly, my feet are medium width, and fit perfectly on the footbed, unlike other therapeutic flip flops I've tried that are too narrow. I'm glad to have stumbled across this therapeutic flip flop. By the way, thanks Zappos for the great service. I ordered this flip flop on Saturday, the Fourth of July, and it was at my doorstep on Monday afternoon.

Bought these after reading great reviews. They are comfortable, but really ugly. I'm not impressed because for the money, they should have made a flattering shoe along with the comfort factor. These look like you're walking around on a tire! Soles stick out too far. If you're only looking for a comfy thong, give them a try. If you'd like to receive compliments on your shoes, however, these aren't your huckleberry. They were too ugly to make the cut when I packed for Barbados!

Perfection!
Loved the shoe, and bought a second pair. Colors are fun, and shoe is very comfortable. Perfect in all ways. I normally wear an 8 1/2, and bought an 8. Fits just fine. One reviewer mentioned that Montrail isn't making these anymore. I'm going to stock up!

These sandals are a dream come true!!! I have flat feet, always having to wear shoes with support meaning sandals were out of the question. I broke my small toe very badly three summers ago, couldn't put a shoe on for nearly six months. I was subject to flip flops and back pain that matched the toe pain. A friend told me about these and I can tell you I'll be forever grateful. I've been buying them every year since. I also bought them for my two boys, 12 & 19. I might wish they could be a tiny-y-y bit more stylish, that's just a suggestion definitely not a complaint.

These shoes are wonderful for people with foot issues. This is my 3rd pair in 3 years and I love them! I wear them around my house so that my hardwood floors don't bother my feet, and it keeps my feet from hurting. Get a pair!

I like the support but they fit could be better. The toe strap is too far from the top of the sandal so the heel is perfectly placed but the shoe is too long. A smaller size would not solve the problem as your heel would hang over the edge.

I tried these shoes because I had been searching for comfortable shoes in the middle of a plantar fascitiis flare. They seemed very comfortable and I was impressed. Unfortunately, as anyone with plantar fascitiis knows, shoes must hit, or not hit your foot in just the right way. After wearing them for several hours, though the arch support was fantastic, the heel pain reoccurred. This was not all bad as at the time I found NO SHOES other than these whatsoever to give any comfort for any length of time. With more healing (pun intended) I can switch back to these shoes. I find switching between tolerable shoes helps my feet heal. In general these Molokini’s are great and worth a try for anyone with any foot problems or just wanting extreme comfort.

I stumbled upon the Montrail Molokini Sandal at a store in my area. Bought it for a trip to Mexico. Not only found it very colorfully attractive, but found it to be amazingly comfortable in all situations, even on hills and cobblestone streets in Mexico. I always have problems with my feet being supported and free of pain. I had absolutely NO PROBLEMS with this truly amazing sandal. I had a great deal of trouble, once home, finding more of these Molokinis in the bright and fun colors, for I was told that Montrail is no longer making any color but black, which is just another sandal. A friend wanted one. I spend hours trying to find a bright color one in her size, all to no avail. Everyone comments on these sandals every time I wear them. How can Montrail no longer make these exceptionally comfortable sandals in the wonderful bright and happy colors? It is at times like these when we all can use happy comfortable feet. JRP

I've been on a search for slippers that have arch support. It's over. These are the most supportive and comfortable slippers I've ever had, and not the most expensive.

I LOVE these shoes. They are so comfortable. After heating them they totally molded to my foot, including toe prints :). I would highly recommend these to anyone but especially if you need great arch support in a sandal or thong.

Didn't work for me -
After reading all of the amazing reviews I was really hoping these would work for me. I have super-high arches (shoe store employees are always shocked at how high my arches are), a wider forefoot, a very narrow heel, and wear orthotics, and since there were positive reviews from other people with high arches and orthotics I thought I'd give them a try. Unfortunately, even after following the directions to heat them and mold them to my feet, the arch support was so high that it felt like I was walking on a golf ball -- I am very curious how these sandals can work for anyone with normal to flat feet! Also, the straps were too tight and literally cut into my feet after wearing them for only 30 minutes -- if I could flatten the foam under the toes/forefoot that would give me more room in the straps, but I could not get the foam to flatten more than just a hair after heating and molding them, even standing on my tip-toes to put all my weight on my forefoot in an attempt to flatten the foam. (But this size was almost too long for me, so there's no way I could wear the next size up. I usually wear a 7-7.5 and ordered these in a 7.) The sandals are much too wide and clunky to be flattering; however, the wide width and deep heel cup do make them very stable. Since I only wanted these to wear to water parks, pools, etc. I didn't care if they weren't the most flattering!
These are probably still worth a try since so many people love them, I just wish I could have got them to work for me!

These are the best flip flops ever! I have them in several colors and wear them all summer. I told several friends about them and now we all have matching shoes! The ability to "bake" them to mold to your footbed is the best feature about them. It creates a custom footbed to match your foot and no insoles for the summer! Amazing!

At last - a flip flop with great arch support! I'm so happy to have an alternative to my running shoes with orthotics, especially in the hot summer months. I have two pairs of Molokini’s in different colors. The short process of conforming them to your feet is well worth your time, not to mention your comfort. The cushioning is exceptional and my podiatrist was very impressed with the Molokini’s. Thank you, Zappos, for your excellent selection of footwear and exceptional customer service!

Love these flip flops! I have bad feet and can't wear regular flip flops. The Montrail Molokini's are comfy and feet friendly. You can actually walk a distance in them. The sole is thick and contoured. I ordered them for myself and my husband. My teenage son tried them on and wanted a pair too. I recommend these for optimum foot health. I tell my friends they are worth every dollar.
