Authentically awesome! These shoes are so great I bought them again in a different color after I blew out my first pair. Comfortable, stylish, and simple, I'll probably continue to buy Authentic Core Classics in the future. Zappos has been great and I'll definitely continue to buy from them in the future!

These shoes are awesome!! I bought a pair of pink ones and am getting ready to order another pair today. Very comfy and look great. At my age I thought I'd look ridiculous in Vans, but that is NOT the case w/ these! Zappos is awesome and I will def order through them again- excellent customer service! I recommend that people buy these shoes in several different colors!

These shoes are great looking and they fit well. As usual, Vans shoes aren't the most comfortable and tend to wear quickly, but hey - they're cheap! I couldn't find these shoes in stock anywhere but Zappos and I was upgraded to overnight shipping for free, so the buying experience was great.

I bought 2 pairs of this shoe. Please note that the white is not a white but a yellow white. You must ask for true white. When I called, the customer service rep explained the problem and a new pair was sent out immediately. My son likes this shoe because he thinks it is cool. But it has no support, wears easily, and is too expensive since the shoe doesn't hold up.

Love these shoes! These are really great shoes. I have been trying to find something I love as much as Converse, and I think I have. They are super comfortable and cute!

Love these Vans!
My Husband loved these Vans. They are a great style and very comfortable. He had to exchange the 1st pair for a larger size, so they may run a little small. The good news is that Zappos has such a great exchange policy! Thanks!

This shoe was pretty good. It has amazing grip and good board control. It can be really comfortable, but you have to tie and untie them every time you take them off. They skate good, but they wear out fast. If these were cheaper, they'd be a good buy.

Most common shoe you will ever see -
These shoes are pretty good looking, but for skating they need to be broken in. And after they get broken in, they get holes in the stitching. So that leaves about a month until full complete blow out. The flick area is so thin that on mine it wore down to the sole and they’re not very comfy either until broken in, but they still look cool, even though they feel weird to skate.

Great shoes, great service!
I ordered them on another site; after 3 days I got a notice that they were out of stock and couldn't tell me when they'd get the shoe. I cancelled and placed the order with Zappos. I opted for regular shipping and they upgraded me to the fastest one they have; got the shoes within a couple of days. Awesome, couldn't have been a better experience!

I've worn Vans every day for the past three years. I really like the all black shoe because they can be worn with a suit and it doesn't look like your wearing "tennis" shoes!

Good looking, but a bit uncomfortable -
These shoes look great, especially for the summer, but as a warning, they are a bit uncomfortable barefoot (particularly around the heel). After only walking a few blocks without socks, my heels literally started bleeding. Cool shoes, but definitely wear some socks.

Delivery was fast. Cost was reasonable. The shoe fits great and looks great. If you have wide feet, this is the shoe for you. I like my shoes so much I don't want to get them dirty outside. I don't wear them when the weather is rainy.

Considering the fact that I have really large feet, I was amazed I was able to find a pair as good as these. Getting used to canvas shoes was interesting as I've never owned a pair, but after the initial adjustment, it was comfy and durable.

Summer Classic -
I bought these shoes as comfy summer sneaks or to wear with jeans going out, and for that they're perfect. They're super comfy, look good with jeans, khakis, and shorts and they feel good with or without socks. I guess I could've ordered a half a size bigger and gotten away with it, but the 11s feel OK until about the 4th or 5th mile for the day. Other than that, the true white sneaks are tough to keep clean. I spent about 4 hours trying to get them back to their original pure white look. I've heard the best is white shoe polish - live and learn. But for the price, once these things get too beat up to be my "clean sneaks" I'll buy another pair and use the old ones for loungin'. And of course, Zappos is the best.

I am very disappointed in the quality of this shoe. They are paper thin and are not the Vans quality I am used to. If it wasn't such a pain to return items these shoes would be out of my house.

Get it.
This sneaker has classic styling that will never go out of fashion. Van's Authentic is best for hanging out etc., not so much for skating. If you skate them you will have holes in them within' two sessions. This doesn't mean that it's not a great shoe for skating; it has great grip and board feel, and as far as ankle support...a wise man once said that the higher (more ankle support) a sneaker has, the more likely your ankle is to roll because it's 'tricked' into thinking that there is more support therefore it doesn't hold up the same that it (your ankle) would with a lower profile shoe. Keep in mind that all Vans look best when the outer sole is rubbed down and broken in. For what it's worth, this is a very hip shoe for men and women that you're sure to turn heads with.

Vans' Saves the Day!!!!
I am so glad that someone still is interested in making a traditional canvas deck shoe!!!!!! My feet find summer unbearable without these nice dry type shoes. Since my two white and one black pair have arrived, I have worn a pair every day!!!! If they quit being made, please let me know so I can stock up for about... 30 years!!!!!

Close, but no cigar -
I once had a pair of off white shoes that looked like this, that finally wore out. This is close in appearance. I have an average width foot with a high instep. These are too wide. I wouldn't recommend these and I have other Vans that I like.

Buying shoes online from Zappos -
This company is awesome. Free shipping and the shoes were here in I think two days. Wow, and the fact that they pay the shipping to return if you happen to order the wrong size or color or whatever. No other company does that. Best online experience ever. I will be back next time I need shoes. Great job Zappos.

I sent a request for suggestions for sandals that will fit my feet-narrow heels, wider toe, AND have an insole that I can fit a heel wedge beneath AND provide support because I have plantar fasciitis. I got a reply listing about 15 choices. I bought one, a NAOT sandal, and they are the most comfortable shoes (not just the most comfortable sandals) I have ever worn! My feet do not hurt and I can walk long distances in them even though they have no heel strap and only 2 straps across the foot! The style is Karaoke, and they don't seem to be available, but I will definitely try other styles!
