Great insoles for distance running - These are great insoles! They are super easy to mold and really add support. I am flat-footed, 146 lbs, 5'8", and tend to overpronate, but I run long distance - marathons and ultra-marathons, mostly on trails. I now use these in all my road running shoes and trail running shoes, and I've had no injuries since I started using them.

I love these inserts! I have them in four different shoes. I went to a local running shop and had my knees/ feet checked out (you walk on a treadmill and they look at where you need correction) and these were the insoles they recommended. Since then I always pull out the insoles in running shoes and replace with these it's stopped my knee pain and lets me go longer. I took a set of these and put them in my converse chucks which is only ok they are a little too tall in the heel for the low profile shoes but they make it so I can wear them for long a long time.

These insoles offer a good amount of shock absorption, arch support, and overall comfort. Unfortunately, they are not as low profile as they would seem based on the description. The combination of the padding in the heel strike area and the formed plastic support cause the back of the foot to raise up a fair amount. The lift actually rendered these insoles useless for the shoes I had originally purchased them for, since my heel no longer fit into the cradle of the shoe and started slipping. The reason I kept them is because they fit perfectly into my Oakley All Mountain hiking boots that I use frequently.

Astoundingly comfortable. I work in live event production, spending most of the time on my feet walking, pushing boxes, carrying guitar amps, etc. These insoldes have made a tremendous difference in how both my feet and back feel at the end of the day. I feel like I have more energy when I work while wearing these, which was an unexpected side affect. A most excellent purchase.
