This is my second pair of Montrail's. The first pair I purchased was in 2005. Never left my feet, so comfortable for sandals. I always size up one size for better comfort.

I ordered these for our trip to England and Scotland this summer. I have been there before and know how wet it can be. I wanted something waterproof and slip resistant but not heavy like hiking shoes. I have also just started running so I wanted the support of running shoes. These fit the bill! They have unbelievable support! They have more support than any running/cross training shoes that I have ever owned so if you are not used to that, it may take some getting used to. However, your feet will thank you! As a matter of fact, I have never been a runner in my life and I just started the Couch to 5K app in my workouts three weeks ago. I felt so supported and confident in these shoes that I started it in these! I had never heard of this brand but the rave reviews made me want to buy them. They did seem about half a size big to me compared to other athletic shoes. I wear a 7 for running and I bought a 6½ in these based on other reviews. I do tend to wear a 6½ in casual shoes and a 7 in dressier shoes. It just depends. My feet are wide across the toes and arches. They feel perfect, with a roomy toe box. I cannot attest to the waterproof claim on these as I live in the desert and we have been in a two year drought. I also love the style and neutral greyish color because I do not feel like I will stick out like a typical American tourist wearing my obnoxious sneakers in the UK. They look nice with my all-weather travel pants. Buy them. You will not regret it. Especially with Zappos' no risk buying! I just ordered two pairs of shoes of a different style from Zappos today!

I have a hard time finding comfortable sandals and was very hesitant to buy online. These are great so far. No complaints, very comfortable.

I normally like Montrail but these shoes were not right from the start. The style was flatter than it looked in the pictures and the sides and cushioning felt too thin and less supportive. The size 10 seemed a half size small. I have another pair of Montrails that are terrific. I just picked something that didn't work on many levels. Just not for me.

I have high arches that are tempted to cramp and fall due to decades of running. I bought a pair of these Molokinis about 4 years ago and have never looked back. They are by far my most-used shoe. I've worn them hiking (seriously), traveling, and obviously around town, and they are still every bit as comfortable as the year before. They have completely molded to my footbed. My mom has flat feet and says they are really painful and has to use Fitflops, so be warned about that if you have flat feet. Every year I tell myself that it's probably time to buy a new pair, and every year I am pleasantly surprised when I slip these babies on and decide they can go another summer! This is silly, but they are seriously the best shoe purchase I've ever made! When I die, I want them to cremate me wearing these flip flops so I can wear them on the other side!

FluidBalance sizing: too short compared to my Montrail Rock Ridge. I wore a 10 in RR. It required 11-11.5 in the FluidBalance to give me adequate toe room. I have a narrow foot, but these are too narrow in the midfoot, causing a hot spot on my little toe joint. Heel cup is very snug, which I love. If these were just a bit wider in the midfoot, I'd be a happy camper.

These have become my shoes for ultra marathoning -- the cushioning always leaves my feet feeling quite fresh after multi-hour runs. I replace the insole with prescription orthotics, for what that's worth.

I use these as trail racing flats (for races up to 25k) and for my tempo training runs. I am very surprised at how comfortable these are, especially since mine weigh in at a hair over 7 ounces. I've done up to 2 hour runs in them and felt fine. I have a narrow foot, and being a racing flat, these fit me well but others may find them a little too narrow. I replace the insole with my prescription orthotics, for what that's worth.

Montrail has changed the length of the straps on the shoe. Where they once fit snugly, allowing easy walking, the shoe now dangles from my foot with each step. If I had kept the packing material, they would have gone back, but I didn't. If you order, make sure they still fit before ditching the box.

I LOVE these shoes! Excellent arch support, breathable lining. They run slightly small, and I am between sizes, so I got the larger size and it was perfect.

These have great support, and they molded easily. I'm using them in a pair of western boots with a higher heel, and the contour of the arch sits right over and smooths it out well.

Nice and, yes, very comfortable, although didn't wear in hot weather, so unsure whether man-made material of shoe bed makes feet sweat. I wonder... Be warned, shoe runs large. Recommend at least a half size down. I was swimming in my normal size, with a good 1/4 inches between foot and thong.

Well I have to say I was truly disappointed with this flip flop !! I have been on a mission to find the best for my feet. I too suffer from plantar fascitis and Achilles tendinitis (sp). I had surgery and my Ortho Dr. advised me to even wear a shoe while showering to avoid any pressure or pull on tendon while recovering. So with that said I went through several pairs of Crocs and wanted something that would be more stable on my foot and not let my foot slide around or off to the side. I was curious to see how well the footbed would work with heating it up in the oven and I also bought the insoles as well. I have worn my flip flop for over a month and they are just not worth the money at all! Several issues if you ask me. The straps are too loose for one so foot slides all around . Second after several wears the footbed is like slick as a whistle and not arch support at all! I feel I spent my 60bucks for nothing and should have not second guessed myself and returned them the next day but didn't I didn't and shame on me. I will give them A+ for colors but design team needs to go back to the drawing board.

I wear a woman's 9 in an open shoe, these have a tiny bit of extra toe length, but I would not say these run large. Awesome arch support and stability. That is fabulous to find in an open shoe of any style mush less a thong style, and yes these have a bit of style. I also ordered another thong from Montrail that molds to the foot and it is fab as well.

Husband loves these, says they are very comfortable, light on the feet and give good support. He wears a 10.5 M width in a regular shoe, ordered the 11 M for him and they fit him great.

They don't come in half sizes so, I went up a size. They fit like a glove. I love them; it feels like I'm walking barefoot.

These are the most comfortable sandal for my feet. I have high arches and a Morton's Neuroma and after the recommended heating and walking in them, they are perfect! I have to wear orthotics in my other shoes, and since one can't wear them in sandals, these are a great alternative. I wish they came in a solid black too.

I love these shoes. Low profile; the heal isn't too big. Super light. Work well on trail and road. I run rocky trails and I am a bit more careful in these, but so far no problems with injuries on the bottom of my feet. They are a little sloppy in the front. It is nice to have space up there, but sometimes the shoe twists around on uneven surfaces.

These flip flops are not too heavy and feel great. I just bought my husband a pair. He is very excited to put them in the oven and mold them to his feet. Thanks again Zappos!

These shoes are great. I initially thought I wanted another pair of Keens (my others finally wore out after more than five years) but these caught my eye too. They have much more cushioning than the Keens and had a nice roomy toe box. I've worn them on one 8 mile hike so far and they have been really comfortable. We hit a part of the hike that was much steeper and more unstable than I was expecting, and the shoe held up so well. It has great traction and flex -- I could feel it gripping. It might not provide people with the ankle support of a hiking boot, but for long day hikes I am very happy with them.

Very comfortable. Nice high arch and heel cup keep foot from overpronating. Recommend highly.
