Minnetonka Front Lace Hardsole Knee Hi Boot SKU #7426401(View on Zappos.com Classic)

These boots from Minnetonka were all the rage this September when I was in Paris. My feet were killing me one day and I walked into a shoe store in St. Germain looking for some comfy walking shoes. \r\n\r\nI couldn\'t believe that these cute US made boots that I\'d seen everywhere in the weeks I\'d been in Paris were so popular in there. But, they WERE cute. I decided to order them when I returned home because to buy something made in the US while in Paris is just silly...and more expensive.\r\n\r\nSo, I ordered the boots and immediately felt that they were a serious PAIN to get on. They have no zipper and when you put your foot into them, the laces come unlaced which means you have to re-lace the difficult laces which is a big waste of time!\r\n\r\nThen, the first time I put them on, I was uncomfortable. The heel of the insole rubbed at my heel even though I put socks on under them. They have no comfy liner and a poorly padded sole.\r\n\r\nIf only these boots had a soft inner "liner" and an easier way to "enter" the boot, they might be more comfortable and practical. Hey, I know a boot like that! I\'ll stick with those, they are my several pair of UGGS. Sorry, I\'d return these losers if I could, cute or not.
