I bought these boots as a gift for my daughter. I bought her two pairs of them one in black and one in rust. She already had a pair in rust that she had found in a store and she loved them so much that she wanted another pair but she could not find them. Of course, I knew I could rely on Zappos to solve that problem! My daughter has very small feet. She normally wears a size 4.5 or 5 which means she us usually stuck trying to find shoes in the children's department even though she is 19 years old. She tried on these boots in a size six and they fit her perfectly! So I guess you could say that they run small. She wears them with jeans, shorts, or dresses and they work with all three. She does a lot of walking around campus and doesn't have any problems wearing these boots.

Here's the deal... I absolutely love these little beauts of a boots, they were just what I was looking for. A little lift, with a nice thick stable heel that I can walk in, considering I am usually a flats gal. Great fabric, nice details with the little lace sash that hangs at the side, and a nice comfy and relaxed opening that compliments the leg and can be worn with skirts and pants. The deal is that the pair that were delivered to me, had horrible scuff marks on each boot revealing the black leather/material beneath. I was so disappointed, but due to the disadvantages of internet shopping - like the time for items to be returned and then having to re-order, I sucked it up and kept them. It does bother me a little when I look at them and put them on that I paid a price for a very less than perfect item, but I really wanted to wear them to an event. I gave them 4 stars due to this. Apart from that, they are comfy, and the heel is rubbery, so I won't have to worry about re-heeling as I do with all my other boots.

Really cute boot! Looks great with leggings and skinny jeans - haven't tried wearing them with a skirt yet, but I think they would do well. A little bit "floppy" at the top, but a small bit of well-placed sticky velcro corrected this problem easily. Overall, I really like them and they were comfortable after standing at a concert for 3 or 4 hours the very first time I wore them.

I liked how wide the opening (lips?) were and the cowboy-ish curve top make it so it didn't make me look stumpy. Very comfortable to walk in (which is kind of a given because the heel was both large and not very high) except that I kept stepping on the damn cord! I was not a fan of the tassels. If you're looking for something simple, casual, comfy and cute, cute off the tassels (way too long) and these will be your babes. But if you want something sophisticated, stylish, sleek, and/or sexy (while still being comfy! It is rare but possible) and no go on these beaus.
