I love my Merrell Barefoot Pure Gloves. Super comfy and...discontinued. So I ordered a pair of the Stretch Gloves in the same size. Ouch. My toes were painfully squished. The strap looked odd too, the wide section does not cover the whole top. On the pro side, there is more arch support than the Stretch Glove. And Zappos has a fantastic return policy.

I hiked in these right out of the box, barefoot (which I normally wouldn't do without washing them first, but I was eager to try them) I was annoyed at first that the top strap doesn't cover the foot, just the velcro part, which doesn't bother when walking, but I think it weird. One can't quite get a snug fit without bunching the skin, so I let them a little loose and it was fine. The bit around the inner ankle will pop out, which looks like cookie monster talking, but this also didn't bother me enough to send them back. On the hike, over stones and rocks, they felt just like the vibram five-finger shoes, which I like, but might be weird for people not used it..but that is the point of a barefoot shoe. i'm not usually a ballerina slipper, mary jane kind of girl, but these are functional and cute, which is rare. I did sweat a bit and my left heel got a little blister from the friction, but I still like them. I washed them after and realized that they are watertight, which would come in handy for carrying water, if one were in need and it also explains the sweating. The size 7 fit, like a 7 should. Unlike other reviewers, I didn't notice arch support...which would infact defeat the purpose of a barefoot shoe.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. These are what my feet have been searching for. Perfect for everyday to office-casual and I feel like I could be on my feet for hours and not have a problem. I was looking for a shoe that was more comfortable and sturdier than the ballerina flats I have worn (and worn out). These shoes are Vibrams, but without the individual toes and well made. If youâ??re willing to sacrifice a bit of fashion for comfort, you wonâ??t be disappointed. Your feet will thank you.

I needed walking/water shoes for my trip to Belize and to be honest I think all water shoes are downright ugly. I tried these on in a store and they are actually very cute. They are relatively comfy, but run slightly on the small side. I normally wear a size 10 and bought these in a 10, but feel my big toe hitting the end of it. I probably should have gone up half a size but oh well. They also will be good to wear with sweats when I dont feel like wearing tennis shoes.

Love these shoes! At first I thought they were too casual for work but they pass with flying colors. Better than walking barefoot! Love these shoes!
