Returned them. Super cute though. Lots of space for my toes to wiggle but they were too short, which 41's never are on me. I have wide feet and a high arch so they gapped on both sides behind the strap. Absolutely no cushioning inside at all. Super lightweight and flimsy but looked really durable. I wish I could have kept them and put an insole in, but just didn't work.

This is a practical shoe to travel with as you can wear it with or without a sock. (Good when flying.)

This is a nice shoe, but not for my feet. I have wide, flat feet and the shoe does not work for that type of foot.

The Barefoot Pure Leather Glove is a roomy, comfortable shoe. The fabric version of this shoe was too floppy on my foot (the upper gaped open too much) but the leather shoe is very good, even though it requires socks to fill it. I also own the Pace Glove and the Mighty Glove, which I highly recommend.

I bought these because my daughter loves hers, but unfortunately they didn't fit me. The 7 (which I ALWAYS wear) was way too big and the 6.5 felt okay until I walked around the house and realized my toes were hitting the end of the shoe. So sad.

I usually love Merrell shoes but these are the worst. There is no support which is the opposite of why I wanted them. They are worse than wearing slippers. After wearing them for a whole day, my legs and feet ached. Do not spend this much for shoes that are unwearable.

This barefoot shoe is great for those of us with long second toes that bump up against the front of other shoes. It is wonderfully comfortable (after you allow your feet to get used to them since you walk differently). As a practitioner of energy medicine, I recommend them because they let the feet draw up yin energy from the earth while walking. So nice to feel Mother Earth as you walk! Good also because the back is also receiving energetic support from the Earth.

I originally purchased these in a size 10. The ten was comfortable overall, except for the fact that my toes (on my feet, the second toes are longer than the big toe by about 1/2) were scrunched up. I don't trust the shoes to break in, and didn't want to be stuck with blisters. I requested a return from Zappos and had my new pair in 24 hours. (Smiles) New ones almost felt too long; but after wearing them for a bit and tightening up the strap, they feel fine. I am looking forward to wearing these. I have bad bone spurs, and even though there is not a lot of padding, they still feel good. I wish I lived in a place where it wasn't subzero right now so I could really test them. I purchased them to have 1 pair of shoes while traveling: something that can look a little dressier than sneakers, but will also be good for walking, and easy to wear when traipsing through airports. I look forward to them serving all three purposes well.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keen, Sorel

First: these are minimalist shoes - these have no support or padding on the inside. If you're looking for padding, room for orthotics, whatever, you'll want some other Merrells. Please do not rate them poorly because they have no support - they're not intended to. I purchased these because I have the Barefoot Pure Gloves - the ones with the fabric upper and leather "strip" along the toes - and wanted something more substantial for cold weather and and nicer looking for work. These pretty much fit the bill. Because the upper is leather and the toe strip is more substantial, these look a bit less athletic. That said, the leather and toe strip give this more structure than the fabric versions. I found them to be very comfortable, and walked 2.5 miles in them immediately. It did seem, though, that they run a tiny bit short. I wear an 8.5 in most shoes, and these felt shorter than my other 8.5s. Unfortunately, though, I think the 9 will be too large. So, if you're looking for a nicer looking alternative to the fabric version, and a pair that will be a little more snug, these are awesome! If you're looking for something with pillows inside, these are not for you.

This shoe is pretty sporty. I think I'm going to have to try a half size smaller (I'm between a 7.5 and an 8), since the 8 was way too big. The leather seems soft and comfortable. But I'm concerned that the 7.5 will be wide enough for my feet.

This has become my new "wear-all-the-time-shoe". I never thought a barefoot shoe would be this comfortable, but it is. I walk all over and wear these in all kinds of settings with all kinds of outfits, and they just seem to fit everywhere! I need socks with them, so I will switch to the non-leather ones in summer. Love these!

Loved these shoes initially; found them very comfortable and versatile, but after wearing them for a couple of weeks the right one started making a squeaking sound with each step, which is very annoying. I would have returned them, but I didn't keep the original box and wore them quite a bit at first. The left shoe is fine. Maybe you will get lucky and not have this happen to yours. Would be great if they didn't squeak or creak.

Love these. Super comfy right out of the box. I've got wide feet and high arches and had no problems at all with fit - the strap has ample room for adjustment and they seem true to size.

I need a lot of arch support and any of the barefoot shoes that don't lace up don't have enough arch support for me. This shoe would probably fit someone with a narrow foot.

Love these shoes - so comfortable with arch support. Easy to get on and off and cute! The leather cleans up well so that is a plus - wet cloth and they are good as new.

These shoes are great for those who are looking for a minimalist shoe. I purchased these in my true size (8) and feel they fit perfectly. I was afraid they were going to be too narrow for my just about wide width feet but they are perfect. I purchased these for brisk walks with the dog and after a short 1.5 mile walk am positive that this shoe matches the style and feel I've been searching for in a casual, light-exercise shoe.

Really comfortable shoes - but I didn't like the style for me. A bit wide in the toe box, but that's part of the comfort of the barefoot shoe design. Great arch support, which surprised me. I highly recommend this shoe if you love the look.
