Merrell Reviews
Got these a month before a walking tour vacation. Easy break in period, totally worth the money, could not have done the walking I did without these. They have many miles on them and still are in great shape.
I love these. There were no reviews online which stunk, cause I really like them. I'm glad I took a chance on them. The only thing that worried me was the rope on the edges. It scratched me a little bit the 1st day, but have been perfect since. They are super comfortable and really unique. I even thought I'd just cut the ropes off if they scratch me and they'll still be cute.
They feel wonderful on my feet! They have good support.I'm going on a trip next week and these will go with me.
So comfortable and excellent support. Used these on a cruise in the Carribean. The mesh helped keep my feet cool. Sometimes sandals just don't do the job.
I suffer from plantar fasciitis - I chose these sneakers for their support. They were immediately comfortable and I wear them every day!
These shoes are so fabulous! I gave them to my daughter for Christmas and she loves them. Then, I tried them on and ordered a second pair for myself. They are great to wear around: in the house, outdoors, on errands, any casual use. Soft and warm inside, too.
Awesome. Perfect. I love these shoes. Typical Merrell comfort and style. True to size and plenty wide enough for those of us with wider feet.
This is a very comfortable and fun shoe - looks awesome with jeans! I usually wear a 9 in Merrell's - but had to go up a 1/2 size. Overall - a great shoe!
This is an amazing product and I live in these! Better still Zappos is incredible and makes it effortless to purchase or exchange anything at anytime! My first go to!
I bought this shoe right after my foot surgery and it has been the best shoe I have had. I have bought 3 pairs now I am looking for a new pair.
I have read the other reviews and yes they do tend to rub your ankle but I have yet to have a tall boot that doesn't until you soften them up. Which means, yes, you have to break them in. That goes for any boot at any price. I love these boots. I am an EMT and can never predict what type of environment I will be in at any given time. They aren't the greatest on ice but again I have yet to find a shoe or boot that is. I am very glad I got these boots and encourage anyone who complains about the ankle rubbing just give it some time it does go away.
The best purchase I ever made! I love these boots. I bought these to replace some clunky Northface boots, which I never wore because they were so heavy. That's what makes these boots fantastic- not only are they warm, comfy, with good treading, waterproof for those snowy and slushy winters, but they are also light! If its in the 30's I can easily walk around wearing cotton socks in them and be very comfy. When its colder or there's tall snow, I wear wool socks and they keep my feet quite warm. Love these boots! Actually wish it'd snow more so I could wear em more often.
Love this shoe! My boss gave me her Merrells one day at work when my neuroma was acting up and was sold. I ordered this shoe online hoping it would feel as wonderful on my feet and I was not disappointed. My feet are so happy after just one day in my new Merrells! No need to break in these gems.
My favorite shoe, fits like a glove on me, no laces to mess with, really well made and vibram sole is tough and long lasting. I bought my first pair 5 years ago and they are still in great shape - made me a Merrell convert. Since then have bought a couple pairs of world ramblers for work shoes and recently one of their barefoot models.
I have high arches, and I wear arch supportive shoes. These have arch support, but it was weird, kind of intense. The strap did not work well across my bony feet. I wear a 9, on the narrow side and these shoes just looked like big ugly barges on my feet. They are really unattractive and the gray not a good gray at all.
Great shoe, I work in a hospital where I walk and am on my feet all day. This is the best shoe I've found so far. It is made for indoor, on-your-feet work. I wear 9.5 sneakers and these were true to size for me, they feel loose but are actually on securely if I move my feet around.
I never write reviews but, I had to chime in for these Merrell's. I have been looking for boots to use hiking in the White Mt of New Hampshire for some time. I have wide feet and did not want to invest in mountaineering boots until I was confident I would use them. I usually wear a size 8 Merrell boot but I have a wide foot. So, normally, I rely on the sideways give of the boot. This boot is solid plastic at the base and so I ordered a size 9 to get the right fit. What made me want to write a review is that I wore them out of the box for an almost 11 miles hike with microspikes and snow shoes. They felt so light! They were TOTALLY comfortable for the whole time! Because of my wide feet, I only wore my regular fall weight socks. But, in addition to being comfortable, my feet were super dry all day! At one point my toes were a smidge nippy but, never to any real degree. Because my feet are so wide and I cannot really get thicker socks in there, I will likely not wear these shoes for hiking in the single digits but, they are a great light weight, dry, comfortable option for those winter days in the 20s or up.
I wanted to really like these (I have a pair of the Merrell Tetra Launch in brown that I love) but the faux belt detail seemed to throw the zipper off enough that it rubbed uncomfortably against my ankle no matter what I did. The black leather seemed thinner than the light brown (which is actually more of a mustard color FYI, and why I exchanged them). Merrell makes great boot soles, but the leather isn't quite warm enough for the coldest nights. Too bad, I wanted to like them, the top detail was really nice and they looked good.
Very stylish and comfortable. I normally wear 5, but it felt tight and I went a half size up and it fit perfectly. Love Zappos and love Merrell.
I have informed my colleagues that, while it is not in my will, I want to be buried in these boots! Comfortable from day one, warm and cozy, lots of compliments. Worth the money! Initial attempts to get over my heel was difficult. After several weeks, it's still a tad tight but once on, they are perfect.
