Overall:

I have worn Merrel hiking boots/shoes since they first came on the market. This is the first pair I have had trouble with. Size is small, not enough room for my big toe. I am returning these shoes.

Zappos just couldn't be better! They always have the best prices, do a search on your shoe choice and the entire internet will prove to you that they do indeed always have the best price. The employees are willing to help every time, and if your shoes don't fit they pay for the shipping both ways..............not to mention that they pay for the initial shipping as well! So, thats my story and I'm stickin' to it. Thank you to Zappos for being alive!

I highly recommend these shoes; I bought them a year ago and was just contemplating buying a second pair to keep on hand (although my first pair shows no signs of wear). I wear them in the rain and light snow and they keep my feet warm and dry in the Chicago winter. They are also comfortable and offer good arch support. Because they have a snug fit around the top of the foot, I recommend using a shoehorn. The shoes are fairly basic in terms of appearance, but certainly not unattractive.

Overall great! I love the way it looks and it is pretty comfortable. I've worn it through very cold days, rain, and even several inches of snow while it was snowing more, and my feet stayed dry, warm, and cozy. I walk a lot. I felt they were true to size, but I ordered an 11, half a size up as suggested, but I am a true 10.5 and they are a little too long in 11 and the heel slides a bit. They pinched my right pinky toe, but have stretched out a bit. I wear them with think socks or they are baggy. My feet are maybe slightly wide, though I think that shoes are usually not made proportionately wider for sizes 10 and up, just longer. I'm glad they come in 10.5, just not available! I rubbed the leather with beeswax because they water marked a bit after the rain/snow. It darkened a little, but still looks good.

I really like these shoes . . they are lightweight, very comfortable (Merrell's so you expect that)and I like the color/look. The only disappointment is that they run wider than I anticipated in the toe portion and I didn't realize how much it bothers me until after I had worn them. I do not have a narrow foot either so just be advised. You can tighten them in the toe area using the laces to fit better but they now have more material there and gap so looks bad. I should have bought 1/2 size smaller and this would have eliminated the problem. They seem to run a little big.

These are the second pair of the Merell's I have purchased. The first lasted about 10 years. Super comfortable as always. They hold up very well to winter outdoor use - snow and rain. Shopping on Zappos has always been a breeze. Thanks.

Comfortable and easy on/off, sizes are much larger compared to other brands I buy. The sole at the heel has a thick feel that is different from other brands. Not bad, but takes a little getting used to.

Well...I own three pair of Merrell Jungle Mocs and I recommend them to everybody I know. Even my 9 year old niece has a pair. I purchased a pair in Taupe for my Dad for Christmas and he loves them. Lightweight and comfortable they are perfect for any season. I have my black pair on today with two pair of socks as it's -2 degrees in NJ in late January. I ordered this pair two days before Christmas and they arrived in less than 24 hrs. I love Zappos as you always get a quality product with FAST free shipping and free return shipping if necessary. I am a tough size to fit but it is no problem to order several pair and return them for free if they do not fit correctly. Zappos also has an excellent customer service dept who are polite and a pleasure to deal with.

Great shoe for traveling or just kicking around the house. I had a pair through three years of law school and wore them through snow, sleet and rain and they held up beautifully. I just bought a new pair for taking the dog to the park, going to the beach, etc. They are far better than flip-flops in the summer. As much as I love flip-flops, they aren't nearly as good for your feet as the Jungle Slide. One note, if you wear them in extreme cold weather I'd suggest buying a heavier Smartwool sock to keep your ankles protected.

Awesome boot!!!Love this boot- finally found it in a size 8! The width is a bit snug on me- but I've got pretty wide feet (due to bunions). Regardless, the boot feels comfortable, looks stylish and there is enough room to tuck in my jeans if I so desire. I really like this boot because it's able to be dressed-up or dressed-down, is waterproof and perfect for walking around a (hilly, icy) city in the winter! Awesome.

I must wear orthotic insoles, so I need plenty of space in my shoes. Jungle Mocs are much better in this respect than other shoes of the same size I have tried, even when new. I did find one problem--the first 2 pairs of size 9 1/2 I bought had enough toe room, but the third did not. Zappo's great return policy meant it only took a day or so to get some size 10's, which are very comfortable.

I have chronic knee and hip problems (had one hip replaced 2 yrs ago) but have been able to cut my use of my cane in half because of Merrells, especially the sole on this model. The same sole comes on the Plaza Emme and another model. The cushioning and support all around your foot are outstanding. These are the only non-athletic shoes to give me such comfort. And Zappo\....well, they are just the best in customer service. Zappos and Merrells get my vote all the way around.

These are great. The last pair I got was 10 years ago and I wear them all the time here in the fall, winter, & spring. I put a pair of Yak Trax on my old ones for ice walking and it works out really well. Can't give them up!

Absolutely love this shoe! Years ago I picked up a pair of Merrell flip flops on sale at a Ross's and I've been hooked on Merrell ever since. I had a pair of the encore shoes without the shearling lining and they lasted four years and while those had a couple more good years in them, I have been salivating over these for too long. I couldn't wait for my other ones to wear out before they got replaced by these. Just the easiest weekend shoes! Comfy and they look good with jeans or khakis. I like to use them as my "train shoes" on Fridays....and I don't change into my office shoes if I can get away with it.

My husband is in heaven with these!!! Super warm and comfortable. True to size and great looking too. He wants some without the fur so he can wear them daily! Can't go wrong with these. Merrell is a great brand, great quality shoe.

These shoes are great. They are very comfortable and are easy to just quickly slip on. They also look good with many outfits. Some people have told me to order a size up, but I felt like the size I typically wear in other shoes would be more appropriate since these are slip on - I did not want them to slide on my heel. I ordered 2 sizes to be safe and it turns out I was right, the size up would have fit well if they tied and wouldn't slip, but since they don't, the normal size I wear in other shoes was the best choice. Pros: Comfort: very comfortable! Style: looks good with many outfits Price: best price I've seen for these, and $100! Bonus: quick to put on and take off Cons: Grip/Traction: Although it looks like they have great traction/grip, and they do in dry weather, they can slip a little on wet sidewalks and definitely on snow or ice. Style: they might look a little nicer and more appropriate for wearing out if they offered an option for a more normal leather, rather than this which is more of a suede. Height: I wish they came up a little higher on my ankle.

I am a waitress - I spend 8+ hours on my feet. I love these shoes! After the first 3+ days, you will never even have to think about your feet. I’ve forgotten they’re even there! With a little heel, you won’t track over the back of your pants and it makes your legs appear longer and slimmer. So cute, so comfortable, Love ‘em!! Might feel tight at first, but they do stretch out.

I love these shoes! I'm in need of new shoes that have removable inserts so I can put in my orthotics. These shoes are working out perfectly and they are currently my most comfortable shoes. I LOVE these boots, I was looking for something simple to slide on to take the dog out and these are perfect. They are very comfortable and warm. They fit great with thick socks at my normal size. I would say they are perfect for everyday cold weather wear, not at all clunky. The only downside is that the pulls seem delicate so I have been afraid to try to yank them very hard, because of this it feels like the heels are getting squished when I push my feet in.

These are WONDERFUL shoes! I saw someone wearing them and wanted them and tracked them down through Zappos. The shoes are lightweight, comfortable and great casual wear. I bought them in the gunsmoke leather as well, and they are good but not as comfortable as the black mesh, which has more "give" in the uppers. Zappos delivered them the next day after ordering, and I have been very pleased with the shoes and with Zappos!
