Mephisto

These sandals are really cute and I wish they had fit, but they are not wide enough for my 7W foot. Please make wide widths, Mephisto!

I love these and was really hoping they would fit, but they just aren't wide enough for my foot. I usually wear a 7W so these will have to be returned.

I adore this shoe and have it in every color made except the plum and gray patent! Please keep it available in the soft silver, black and beige as it has become my favorite summer sandal! At a party last summer, 3 women stopped me to ask where I purchased this shoe in the soft silver (which is not now available!) This shoe is a keeper!Please continue to manufacture it!

I have this style in suede and it is incredibly comfortable. This one was not. The leather strap cut into my foot. I had to return it. It does have a great footbed though.

I like this pair - color is antiqued gray. I love Mephisto mobils. Sizing is slightly different, I'm a size 10 and buy Mephisto 40 or 41 depending on the shoe. These are a 10 1/2 equivalent. They feel good on one foot but hit my arch uncomfortably on the other. I'm debating if I can make them work. I will probably return them. Too bad, they are a nice cross between the fit of a sneaker (with good room for the toe) and a casual flat. Thank you to Zappos for their excellent customer service and return policy.

The reason I ordered these is that I have a long love relationship with Mephisto Hanka sandals. These felt a bit small/tight, though. I checked to see if it was the same size (it was). Next I lined them up sole to sole (they matched perfectly). I debated about whether or not to keep them, but had already gotten the next size which was way too big, so I am keeping them and hoping they will stretch just that little bit I need. Love the color, and there is a nice imprint on the leather. I'm sure I'll love them as much as my white one. Easy on, easy off!

These shoes are instantly comfortable and there was no break-in period. Even after being on my feet all day my feet do not hurt. They are really good-looking, classy shoes which even feel like they are very well-made. Experience tells me that I will still be wearing these shoes in 5 or 6 years, so the price I paid for these is completely justified. Years of comfort and style are a good investment, in my opinion. As a side-note, as these age and wear they will look stylish for a completely different reason. If you've ever seen a pair of Mephisto loafers that have been 'put through the ringer', as they say, then you know that when these get a little rough around the edges, all it does is add character to them. That is a nice bonus.

She loves them! This was a gift and she lives in them. Comfortable, breathable and cute, too.

I'm going to add to the almost 800 other reviews because I wanted to express my opinion about trying Mephisto sandals for the first time. I have had a lot of sandals in the past that didn't have a sling back and I was determined not to get another pair of shoes without heel support because either they were too heavy or they flip flopped when I walked and weren't comfortable. I just got these today and when I put them on my feet it was like they were molded to the shape of my foot. I can't comment on how they wear long term or on long distances but I instantly feel they are a very comfortable fit on my feet right now and I have the good feeling that they will only get more comfortable with wear. I love the color as it is very summerlike and I live in Florida. I'm going to look at my nail polish selection because I just might have the perfect lavender pearl color to compliment the shoes for my toe nails. I usually get a size 8 and since these are European sizes it is recommended to get a size larger which I did and I'm glad because they fit better.

My podiatrist told me that Mephstos are the best shoes. So I got a pair of these 10 years ago to wear around the house. After 10 years, they were looking pretty bad so I just ordered a new pair. They are great. When I get home after a long day and my feed are tired, I put these on and sigh.

Comfortable shoe. I found the footbed on Mobils Ulda to be a little bit softer than on this model. I ordered the pewter color which is a good neutral, almost brown/bronze.

I was buying this shoe with much confidence as I have the same one in tan leather and live in them. They are extremely comfortable. I have had four surgeries on my foot and have to wear a shoe with this kind of firm arch only. This adds a little of a dress-up look to my outfits.

I love the look of these sandals, but the bone on the outside of my foot sticks right through the opening in the straps. I've never had this problem with a sandal before.

Love, love, love these! I'm on my second pair and wore out the first pair. It's January and I'm still running around in these! Very very comfortable shoes. If Mephisto ever discontinues them I'm gonna cry.

Expensive but great shoes. Very well made, comfortable and nice looking. My 1st pair of Mephistos and won't be the last. Plantar fasciitis almost gone.

Great shoe. I have had the same pair for years and they are in good condition. Could not pass up the sale price on another pair.

I needed a pair of dress shoes which is a problem because I can't stand wearing closed shoes and I have various foot problems that require comfort. The options were to be in pain all night or to downscale on the glamor. Although this shoe certainly isn't a stiletto-heeled peep toe as one might normally wear on New Year's Eve, I found the Ulda to be a marvelous compromise as it is both beautiful and very comfortable, allowing me to dance all night (without pain!).

Very comfortable shoe with excellent arch support. Felt a tiny bit wider than other Mephistos that I own.

I love the Mephisto brand, but this particular shoe was painful in that it is stiff leather and causing me a corn to form. The stitching at the back near the heel is coming out. I've never had this problem before. Purchased 6 weeks ago.

Absolutely perfect. I had these in black nubuck and have worn them over 20 years now. No kidding. 20 plus years. They are the best walking shoe and they absorb impact because I have painful bone foot injuries and Mephistos are always my go to shoes. I was concerned with so many years passing that these would not be as good as my older ones but they are absolutely perfect and same high quality. I ordered this new one in the black boa and another person that had written a review was very correct in the fact that these are really a shiny dark brown with black undertones of reptile print. Thanks to her review I knew to expect that they were a nice deep mocha brown. I will be able to wear them with brown and also with black outfits to add a variant color pop of interest. These are 10 stars in comfort. Believe me, if they happen to agree with your foot shape, you will be so lucky on your next all day outing (such as to Disney World or touring Biltmore, etc.) you will be so thankful that these are on your feet. After four hours you will really see why they are worth the price! Zappos! You are marvelous! I may try to order them in the silver boa because I know you will take them back if they do not happen to be the color I will use. Pictures can be so different and with Zappos we can all be happy shoppers that get our money's worth!
