I LOVE the Mephisto Helen sandals! I have problem feet and have had problems with plantar fasciitis over the years and these provide the support that I need. I've worn this style for years now, and just ordered my fourth pair. Gave my sister my old pair and she loves them too. The most comfortable pair of sandals - more comfortable than Birkenstock!

I ordered a pair of 47. I previously owned a different pair of Mephisto’s. I have huge narrow feet. They fit well except they were a tad short. I returned them for 48's. Zappos has an easy return policy.

This is the most comfortable sandal. I'm learning as I deal with arthritis that the more secure the shoe is on my foot the better I do. A lot less pain. This sandal is PERFECT! Comfortable and plenty of arch support. It fits my foot like it was made for me personally! Thanks Zappos for a wonderful shoe, wonderful shipping, and return policy. I don't buy my shoes anywhere else since discovering Zappos in 2007.

I have these shoes in every color possible. They are the most comfortable pair I own. While they show the toes they do not show enough to show any malformations (like hammer toes, etc.), and they still look fashionable and wear like iron. Highly recommended!

Bought them a month ago and have worn them several times a week since they arrived. Always get compliments and love telling people they're Mephistos! I've walked all around town, shopping at the nearby mall, and will be taking them to France in a few weeks. My daughter, who typically doesn't wear heels, bought a pair in black also and loves them too. They work with jeans, skirts and sundresses- a sure winner.

I have plantar fasciitis and my foot doctor recommended I use these as they have the best support for your feet. I have to say they feel much better with the help of my foot doctor and these Mephisto's. I can walk again...

These are excellent shoes. Extremely comfortable and fashionable as well. The stylish buckles add a bit of a dressy look to them. They look great with shorts. I used them to walk all over the streets of Spain where there were different types of pavement. You can live in these shoes for hours! Totally worth the price!

These are truly cute sandals with top-notch comfort. Like one other review though, I have to agree the thong-strap is too high and when you walk the leather piece above the toe divider bends forward and hits you on the foot. I love Mephistos for their incredible comfort and arch support, but without any adjustment straps, these will not work for everybody.

I have many pairs of this sandal, I wear a 9 and I wear a 39 in this shoe-I do not recommend sizing up. My toes bump the end, but in a 40 I slide all over the shoe and the arch does not hit me right. A few wearings and the leather usually softens up quite a bit.

I have worn Mephisto sandals for years and have always found them to be light in weight, comfortable and very attractive. This particular style is especially attractive and cheerful. I highly recommend this particular style for its attractiveness and comfort.

Mephisto Zonder are the most comfortable sandal I have ever worn. I usually wear another top name brand and enjoyed them but these are even better. I almost wore these sandals exclusively for 12 days while in Jamaica. I give these shoes the maximum number of stars.

This shoe is a very well made shoe as in the Mephisto tradition. I is extremely comfortable and works well with any type of summer outfit(dressy or casual)which makes it a good purchase. I love this shoe.

I really enjoy the Mephisto Rush; I have very bad foot problems. Since I have worn the Rush I do not limp or my feet do not hurt as much. The sole of the shoe is exactly what the doctor ordered. What a pleasure it is not to limp when I walk now. The shoe is not only supportive but is very comfortable. Thank You Zappos for carrying such great products. Mephistos are a well made product.

This is an extremely comfortable sandal. I wear them constantly in the summer and indoors with socks in the winter. I have young kids and wanted one shoe that would work at the park and other excursions, but could also be worn out to dinner or a nicer venue without looking sloppy. I have a high arch and this gives me the support I need. They are expensive, but I simply cannot find another shoe that gives me such nice support. I wouldn't mind the price if they lasted longer than a year, but for me, they do not. I do wear them constantly, though. My feet are still happy at the end of my busy days chasing two youngsters around.

A little pricey but awesome sandal. Runs a little wide though so if you wear an "M" width, consider purchasing "Narrow", and they are adjustable too. I love mine!

My new Memphisto shoes are exactly what I was looking for. It’s a bit dressy looking and I can wear them with suits and casual looking enough for me to wear with casual attire. Very versatile style! In the first few weeks, they were not not comfortable, but since I broke them in, they are becoming more comfortable. I am beginning to like them more and more. I am now thinking of buying the pewter colored shoes.

My husband and I travel a great deal and this is the best walking sandal I've ever had. Unfortunately I've had plantar fasciitis and a few other foot problems but this shoe molds to my feet really well and even with narrow feet, the straps allow me to tighten the shoes enough to fit my foot properly. I bought my first pair 3 years ago and would still be wearing them if our new puppy hadn't chewed the strap off one of them. After that disaster, I ordered a new pair the next day because I can't live without these shoes (or the puppy).

This is a very pretty shoe and very comfortable as well. I ordered it in my usual size, 41, but had to return it and order 1 size larger. The 42 fits perfectly! If only these were available in other colors!

Very nice looking sandals. I bought the red this time and own another pair. The leather on this one is hard and hurts my toes. I'm presently wearing band aids on both toes and I'll leave them on until the leather softens since I wore them out and can’t return them and don’t really want to. The scratchy leather is the only problem. Arch support and a size larger is a perfect fit. MAKE THE LEATHER SOFTER!!!

These shoes are beautiful- shiny white with gold buckles. Unfortunately, the patent leather between my toes hurts. I also have these shoes with regular leather and wear them all the time...because the leather between the toes got soft. If the patent leather between the toes was softer, I would love these shoes.

So excited to receive these sandals, but they turned out to be a big disappointment. The leather is very hard and uncomfortable, and feels clunky on my feet. Not at all like a previous pair I bought.

I usually wear Dansko but thought I would give these a try. I have found these to be extremely comfortable and did not find the leather to be stiff and uncomfortable like the previous reviewer had mentioned. I can be on my feet all day and still feel great. I will wear these on my frequent trips into Boston and walking around the Disney Parks with no problem. In shoes such as Nine West I wear a 5-1/2 and in Dansko I wear a 36 (5/12-6) so I was surprised that in these I actually wear a 35 which is a woman’s 5. I was very impressed with the speedy delivery and will order from Zappos again.
