Very nice jacket. It just did not fit my husband as well as another. But, this was a good price for a very fine jacket.

Bought this for the hubby for the rainy season in CO and it works perfectly. Not too heavy, but keeps the rain out. Definitely recommend this jacket for those of you looking for a great lightweight jacket for rainy season activities anywhere!

This is a good looking duffel, fairly stiff and seems durable. I would give this item five stars except for the detachable strap - it comes undone way too easily. Instead of hooks there should be clips, this is a major oversight and design flaw.

I ordered this jacket yesterday, and in true Zappos form, it was waiting on me when I got home today. I took it out for a spin (walk around the neighborhood), and I love it! It's a little lighter than I thought it would be (it came in a really small box), but it was still warm. I really like the pockets and the shell. The jacket looks really good, and the material is soft but feels of good quality. I mean, it IS a Marmot. I'm glad I went with the previous reviews and got a medium. I'm 5'5, 125 lbs, and my arms are slightly longer than average. The medium fits exactly how I wanted - close enough to allow form and a sleek look, but enough room for another layer. Chicago requires layers. Very happy!

This jacket was exactly what I was looking for in terms of weight and comfort. I was looking for a jacket that was lighter than a fleece coat but provided just enough protection for crisp fall or spring days. This jacket was perfect for that. The fit is slimmer and there isn't much give in the shell, but it is a sleek coat and was perfect. It a great coat if you want a more formal look instead of a athletic coat feel.

I ordered three rain shells: North Face Resolve, Patagonia Torrentshell, and Marmot PreCip; all in size medium. I m 5 4 , 132 lbs, hourglass shape with curvy hips. I kept the Marmot PreCip and returned the other two. I liked it best for the fit, because the hood tucks inside the collar, and for the neck fit. The Marmot and Patagonia were both roomy enough for me to wear another light later underneath. The North Face was a little more snug around my hips, and slightly shorter than the other two. The North Face hood also tucks inside the collar. The Patagonia hood does not tuck, but can roll and fasten inside; however, this means the back of your neck will get wet if the hood is wet when you roll it. The neck of the Patagonia came up pretty high in front when zipped all the way up, and was a little stiff. The Patagonia was the only one of the three that did not have Velcro fastening overtop of the zipper; it has the most pared down design, seems like it is the most technical/lightweight of the three. The North Face had a full mesh lining with a plush neck lining, which was nice, as was the look of the contrasting color; the other two were not lined. North Face had elastic bands at the wrists; the other two had adjustable Velcro closures. The Patagonia had the best hood design, with adjustable drawstrings across the back and around the face, and a separate piece above the brow that would keep the brim sitting forward. However, this also means that hearing is most impaired with this hood; since I will wear this shell at music festivals this is a consideration for me. The Marmot ended up being the best choice for me and I appreciate that Zappos makes it easy to order several to compare and make a choice.

I like the dark gray but not the off white which seems to look like putty and is not flattering. You should order a size down for best fit. It's comfortable and warm and not see-through at all. There is a lot of stretch so it can sit where you want it.

Spacious, easy to set up. Like that the rainfly stakes down on both sides of door to allow a nice "awning" even if the door is open. Did question the two blue poles that point towards the door - possibly eye pokers. Also, fabric seems super thin...but I think that's the way they are now. Bag that holds the tent and floor feel a little "papery."

I love this jacket, the magnetic closures are just amazing. I love the trim fit and the sleeves are just right for my long arms. I really wish it came in more colors. The orange-red is a little too bright. The brown is a bland mushroom color, not a rich chocolate brown. The glacier color is not practical in a raincoat because the repeated washing to keep it looking clean would wear out the water repellent finish. Very much wish it came in a mid grey color, a dark red, or some shade of blue. The length is practical because you can sit down on a wet surface and keep your behind dry, but it really looks very long in the back. I would prefer magnetic closures on the hand pockets to not have to rub up against a zipper when I want to keep my hands warm. I like the snaps on the sleeves and hood because they are stronger. As a side note, this jacket is identical to the Marmot Downtown, except the latter has a zip-out down lining.

I found out about the Marmot PreCip from a review. They gave it an excellent review. So I purchased it, and I'm very happy with it. It is extremely lightweight, and it does keep you dry, and it didn't cost a fortune. In Miami it always rains in the afternoons during the summer and the fall (well we don't have a fall, it's just an extension of summer). The only thing is that you really can't have it on in our hot weather if it's not raining, because it doesn't breathe at all, and you will sweat! But when it's raining it does keep you dry.

I have been pleased with this raincoat. The sizing seems to run a little small. Had to buy a large just to be able to wear with a sweater or sweatshirt underneath as it doesn't have a zip our lining for warmth. I like the front placket closure with magnets, although as I was putting it on while going past the washing machine, I found myself attached to the washer!

Fits perfectly everywhere but the shoulders and around the arms which runs narrow. Will try the medium, but a little sad because the rest of it fit so perfectly and hate to have it look untailored. FYI: ordered size small for 5'6", 135, usually a small, size 6.

This is a beautiful fitted raincoat. I'm 5'10" and the sleeves and torso are the perfect length (I took a medium). I'm traveling to Poland where the temps are in the high 50's and this is going to be perfect to layer.

These pants fit well and were very comfortable all through a recent walking tour. They were great for cool mornings into a warm afternoons, but might be too heavy on a very hot day even with the bottom zipped off.

What a great backpack! I am giving this product 5 stars all around even though I had to return it. The reason for returning it is that it just wasn't big enough for a 9x12 folder that is required for my child's preschool. I should've read the dimensions before ordering. It's well made and is a great size for a 2-4 year old. It is a super cute backpack and I almost kept it just for "weekend outings."

I just got these so didn't have time to take them out and test them, but they look stylish and fit nicely. I was looking to replace my old hiking pants that were from Lole which I got a few years back and wanted a tapered leg so I could fold them or fit them in my boots. My old ones were little more sturdy and had extra room in knee area, which I really liked. These pants are just straight fit, but they do feel comfy and I am hoping I won't have any issues climbing and do some heavy hiking in them. Fit wise, I am 5'8 and 125, all my pants are zero or two. I ordered these in 4. They are low raise, so I pay attention to hip size when ordering, and for XS (2-4) Marmot hip size is 33 to 35. My hips are 36, maybe 35 on a good day :), and these fit slightly loose on me, so I could possibly go a size down, but I prefer my clothes little looser instead of little tighter. Also, lengthwise they fit just right for me...

Bought this for my husband for a trip to Nepal during the monsoon season. The brown is such a nice color, the quality is excellent, the breathable pockets under the armpits was the reason my husband liked this jacket. He is 5'9" and 220 lbs. The XL fit perfect with a t-shirt. Anything thicker and it would be too tight.

Very nice looking style. However the tailoring through waist was too tight in M (am a size 10). Have to look for another style since a large would be too bulky in all other areas.

Bought the extra large for my son and it's huge -- this large size is much more manageable for a smaller person (5'7" and under). Very durable, very recognizable on a baggage carousel. We've dragged it all over Japan, Hawaii, and the U.S. west coast. For air travel, don't bother to undo the straps on both sides -- just undo one side and tuck the straps under the flap.

These appear to be great pants. However, they run small - very small. I am normally a 6 in pants, but think that I might have to go up to a 10 (which is currently out of stock). I am five foot ten with long legs and a short torso and the 32 inch inseam seems long enough. I think it might actually be longer than 32 inches because the 32 inch inseam in Prana pants do not work for me (the Prana pants are about 2 inches too short).

I am a strong active female 5' 7" 115 lb, with a long torso. I was seeking a pack that's pretty small yet has a frame because I need to transfer the load to my hips, and to have shoulder lifter straps because at least once a week I need to carry a compact load of 20-25 lbs for a long way. This pack didn't work for me. I also would not call this pack "multi-functional" as the manufacturer does. Even for a long day hike with only jacket, water, etc, the thin stiff shoulder straps would hurt unless you had a very thick muscle layer on your upper chest and front shoulders. On the positive side, it weighs only 1 lb 6 oz (per the manu tag; this info not on zappos product page). I really liked the narrowness of this pack which allows a natural arm swing. The pack is well made, and has well chosen details. I tested the weight transfer and fit by walking inside my residence with 16 lbs inside. I used four, 2-liter soft drink bottles filled with the correct amount of water to weigh 4 lb each. I adjusted the pack carefully. I found that with a 16 lb load, the pack frame bent too much for the shoulder strap lifters to function properly. I also learned that the hip strap is only that, a narrow strap, and not a wide belt (not even a non-padded belt). I couldn't see this in the zappos photos. It is omitted from the description. A belt provides no weight transfer to the hips. Plus, ouch. I also ordered the Deuter Fox 30 for youth which claims to be adjustable to my torso length. I didn't find this to be so. I mean, the torso does lengthen, but when weighted I could never get the fit correct. I tried once each day for several days. However, the internal frame did not flex like it does on the Kompressor, and the belt has a decent amount of padding. I also ordered and ended up keeping the Osprey Kestrel 32. Good fit, rigid enough frame, lightly padded hip belt, excellent pocketry. But be aware that if you have a small waist, even at its tightest the hip belt does not fit snugly. I image this is because it's a unisex pack. (My waist is 25", and I have no pouf between waist and hip bone.) If you're a careful sewer you can alter this (but only by about 1.5"), or you may be able to attach additional padding to the inside of the belt. The latter is my plan because the lumbar padding is a little too thin for me.
