These are really cute boots! I bought them for my 13 year old daughter who has been looking for combat boots. The zipper in the back really helps getting on and I didn't realize it but the tops fold down and have a fun plaid inside. She loves them. Not real leather but should hold up well enough. Bought them big so they will last on growing feet.

I love these, they are darling on and fit my skinny calves perfectly. They do run a little big though, I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and had to send the 8.5 back for an 8. If I had wanted to wear thick socks with them the 8.5 might have been okay. I read some reviews on another site that said the zippers break really easily, so I'm just using the ties to get in and out of the shoes. A little more work but worth it. I love them so much I tracked down and bought a black pair too. Love these with tights with skirts and dresses!

Glad I read the reviews and ordered a half size smaller than I normally am. Great boots, feel sturdy and comfortable, can't wait for fall to start wearing them more often!

Purchased the same boot at DSW. I loved the style and they felt great; however, the soles started falling apart after one month of wear: holey soles, flat heel. I have been disappointed in Steve Madden once before. Just wrote to the company. I hope I don't discourage anyone. I liked the boots. They just didn't hold up for me. Maybe I'm a heavy walker. (I wear an 8 normally, and fit into a 7 perfectly.)

Purchased these boots at DSW in July and wore them for the first time in Sept. Although they are super cute, after one wear they started to squeak and creak uncontrollably, very irritating. Easy to get on and off but boot doesn't look great with tights because you can't open up the front of the boot/adjust tongue to get a more relaxed look. Slightly bigger fit. Fun boot. Decent price for what you get.

I just got these in the mail today (I did order them from another site) and I am returning them. Much cheaper quality than I thought. They are really stiff and do not look as relaxed as they are pictured. Really disappointed.

I ordered about a half size smaller than usual and it fits great, looks great, is comfortable. They're so comfortable I wear them to bed, so when there's a fire I can get up and kick it to death. The only complaint I have is that they're kind of hilariously scuff-able, but even scraped I look more badass than I used to in those penny loafers.

I really like these boot, the style is very urban for those days I want to rock some baggy shorts, tights and a chunky sweater. They are very comfortable and roomy, and I can wear tights and a pair of thick socks and still be comfy! Great boots!

I am on my feet ALL day and do not fare well in many shoes. I found these to be very comfortable, very stylish, (I received compliments all day long), and pretty supportive overall. I normally wear a 7½-8 and ordered a 7½ based on reviews. The boots were very large with regular socks and I thought I was going to return for a 7, however, I put on SmartWool socks and the boots fit perfectly. I love these so far and I am contemplating picking them up in black as well.

I got these shoes in the very beginning of the fall, and I wear them constantly. I wear them at least once a week, usually 2-3 times. Most of the time I wear them with skinny jeans/jeggings or tights and a dress/skirts, I lace them up until the "hook and eye" type hooks end and leave the top up but loose and it looks great, so basically how the picture has it but I don't fold down the sides. I also wear socks that just peek about the shoe and it looks awesome. I have gotten many compliments on these shoes. I also didn't feel I needed to break them in very much. Overall I love these shoes.

This shoe is so perfect! So cute and the color is very versatile. I was drawn to it, with the style and ability to wear it different ways. However, it runs really big! I am normally a 7 and from the reviews ordered a 6 1/2. That still was way too big. Sadly they didn't have a 6 available. So I am returning this but going elsewhere for the shoe.

I think the shoe is really cute and stylish, after breaking them in they are super comfortable. The other reviews really helped me when it came down to picking my size because I ordered a size 8 (I wear an 8.5) and the shoe fit perfect, so if anything whoever is ordering this shoe, just order at least a half size smaller.

Along with everything else I order from Zappos, these shoes were delivered to me within one week upon ordering them. Unfortunately, Steve Madden's idea of size 7.5 is slightly larger than mine, so I'll have to send em back for another pair. At least shipping is free both ways! Thanks, Zappos. :)
