I ordered these boots and received them the next day. I typically wear a 9 or 9.5 in most shoes. Last week I ordered the Naughty Monkey Cool for School boots in a 9.5, but had to send them back for the 9, which fits perfectly. I read where these run big, so I ordered the 9. I ended up having to send them back for the 9.5. If you would ask my opinion, I would say that they run a little small. They\'re nice, but I wouldn\'t say that I\'m thrilled with them, like I was when I received the Naughty Monkey boots.

price+materials=value - I have a hard time finding non-leather shoes that don't look, well, like cheap crap. These look better in person than in photos and the Madden Girl sizing has proven consistent yet again; I'm usually a 5.5/6 and these work for me despite a 2nd toe longer than the first. The toe box I found surprisingly roomy and think that with a couple of wearings, any rubbing that occurs will wane.

Very cute. A touch of a military look and still uber feminine. I'm in college, so I don't wear them around campus because my feet hurt bad, but for casual, short distances they're perfect. I love Zappos. Shipped so fast!

You get what you pay for. In other words, I found this boot to look cheap. I ordered the brown color; has that "orange/brown" look to it. I was expecting more of an antiqued brown finish. I found the opening of the boot to be too wide and baggy; didn't have the slim-fitting look I wanted. Overall, the fit was good, but will be returning because I don't like the way they look.

Wow! Better than expected. I was nervous upon ordering because of the inexpensive price, but this shoe is hot. Has a nice chunky look to it, great fall/winter heel. I ordered the brown mix; nice rich tones, metallic pieces not too bright or flashy. Need to put in a heel pad for better fit. The rest of the shoe fits great and is very comfortable to walk in. Peep toe is nice size; not too big, not too small.

These shoes are really cute! They are pretty comfortable for the most part, but I would suggest getting an insert for the ball of your foot. That said, they are really not well made. After only wearing them a few times, the heel cap came off of one, which I super glued back on without problem, but then today the button broke off and I cannot figure out how to fix it. I am really disappointed in the quality.

I was looking for a boot for narrow calves, and based on the measurements, thought this would be the perfect fit. It was several inches too wide in the calf and had much more of a slouch style than depicted. \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nIt\\\\\\\'s still an adorable boot, just not one that fit me.

These boots are precious! I ordered them for my teenage daughter and she loves them. The fit true to size and are well made. The slouchy style is really adorable with the tie in the back. She worn them with skinny jeans and skirts. They are very flat with no arch support to speak of, but that is not a problem for her. The boots arrived from Zappos 1 1/2 days after ordering. Amazing!

These shoes are great for the value. My feet and ankles are really sensitive, but for some reason these heels don't bother them at all. I have pretty thick legs and I can still get these boots zipped. With that said, I can only fight tights and leggings, no jeans.

Very cute boot! I purchased these for my 13 year old daughter and she loves them! Wears them all the time. She says they are extremely comfortable and has received tons of complements.Seems to be\r\ntrue to size.

I have been looking for a long time for a pair of casual yet comfortable and not too clunky boots. I finally found them. These have just enough buckles and detail on them. I got the camel colored ones and they are so cute and comfy. You can tell that the material is not really leather, but it's not too noticeable. They are also good for me because I have a wider calf and they have plenty of room for that, but still aren't too big in the ankle area. So cute with dresses, jeans, anything. Definitely a good buy.

I really like these shoes. The Tan color is gorgeous and versatile, and the thin straps and small buckles set them apart from a lot of other shoes out there and make them more feminine. They're comfy enough. I wouldn't wear them if I knew I'd be walking around for hours and hours, but the thick heel certainly makes them more comfortable than similar boots with thinner heels. The arch support is fine. A word on size: I'm a size 9 1/2 so I bought both the 9 and 10 to try since I knew I'd be wearing them with socks. As expected, the 9 was great with stocking socks but way too tight with thick socks, but the 10 was too loose with anything except thick socks, so I went with the 9. Considering how stylish they are, it's a great price. You could, however, get almost the exact same shoes (Candie's Landin Boots) from Kohl's for a lot less. Still, I'd guess that the Syngerr boots are slightly better quality since they're Steve Madden.

I am 5'6" tall with 13" calf and wear narrow in shoes. These boots come up to the base of my knee and stay up! I may have to buy a short skirt to show off the back bows. I got the black suede and the color is deep. I shopped and shopped and finally remembered Zappos; they are the best. Thanks for putting calf and height measurements in your description. Don't hesitate to but these boots.

Cute, cute shoe - I got this shoe in the bright purple and its fun to add it to a plain outfit for a little flair. I just love the ruffles around the edges, it makes an ordinary heel a little more special. It's not the most comfortable shoe, but that has to do with the height and no arch support. I was able to wear this all day at work without any "breaking in" issues, but was glad to take them off at the end of the day and stretch my calves.

I have gotten so many compliments! I have them in tan, the leg is wide enough to wear with jeans tucked in (looks hot). They look good with tights and skirt as well, but the width is roomy so it doesn't hug the calf (I have smallish-average low legs). It is not real leather, so you (the wearer) can tell the look is definitely not the same, but going about in the world I think they look great. Who's really going to run up and analyze your shoe?! Overall, funky. Comfortable (true to size). Sexy. I recommend!

These are excellent boots, especially if you have skinny calves. I have chicken legs and have been searching forever for boots that do not gape. These fit perfectly, I wear anything from a 7 to an 8, got a 7.5 and they are perfect. They are comfortable and super cute as well. I highly recommend them!

Couldn't find these shoes in any of the stores in my area. I had to have them so I ordered and I am very pleased. Low heel so they are very comfy but still dressy. This style can be worn for work and/or going out. Love them; they are a great fall shoe.
