Surprisingly comfortable and just as cute as I\'d hoped! An adorable vintage shape without being too stylized. I wear a size 10, but my foot is on the narrow side. Finding rain boots that do not make my foot look comically large and that would hold my foot in has been a real challenge. These lace-ups have a narrow look and the flexible rubber hugs your foot, really adding to the comfort. They seem true to size and I have room for warm socks. They hit about an inch and a half above where my ankle bone is on the side. Quality seems excellent.

Was a little wary when ordering these shoes because they didn't come in half sizes and it looked a little pointy. But upon receiving them, I fell in love. The most comfortable rain boot I have encountered. Plus, I love the army green color. Even though they had no 9 1/2, I orderd the 10 and they fit perfect. So A+ in my book!

These boots are fantastic. So cute with jeans or a skirt. However, after wearing them for an entire day, my feet will hurt. I don't know if it's because of the stiff boot or because of my feet. Overall, I like these boots and just need to remind myself not to wear them for too long.

I bought these as an alternative to the big, clunky rain boots most girls wear. These are nice and sleek and able to wear in bike toe clips. They're pretty heavy, and the sole is a little narrower then the boot itself. And unfortunately the first time going to lace them up, one of the metal lace hooks popped out from just a little pull of me cinching the lace. I checked all the other hooks, and it seems they aren't held in very well at all. I was bummed because I live in Portland, and I need rain shoes. Especially non-leather ones. Blah.

About Loeffler Randall
Jessie Randall was inspired as a young girl by her stylish grandmother's chic, understated aesthetic. This early influence combined with Jessie's innate appreciation for subtle, feminine elegance is what defines her collection Loeffler Randall.
In 1998, after graduating from the University of Virginia, Jessie moved to New York and met Brian Murphy, an Art Director, who is now her husband and business partner. A creative spirit himself, Brian encouraged Jessie to follow her heart and pursue her love of fashion. After studying fashion design at Parsons and F.I.T., Jessie worked under Katayone Adeli, a designer whose strong, modern design sensibility she admired. It was later, during her tenure at Gap Inc., that Jessie began to focus on her first passion, accessory design.
Loeffler Randall was born out of Jessie's quest to find the shoes that she wanted to wear but could not find - shoes that possessed an understated elegance, were well made, and undeniably feminine. With this distinct point of view, Jessie and Brian saw an opportunity to bring something new to the shoe market. Loeffler Randall debuted for Fall/Winter 2005, with Jessie designing the collection and Brian responsible for branding and marketing. The collection was an instant success, with styles like the signature Matilde flat boot quickly becoming a staple among fashion editors and celebrities alike. Loeffler Randall's mix of refined sophistication and downtown cool filled a niche in the shoe market and was embraced both critically and commercially.
Loeffler Randall continues to grow each season with over 200 accounts worldwide. The collection is carried by many of the world's finest retailers including Bergdorf Goodman, Harvey Nichols and United Arrows. It can also be found in luxury department stores Neiman Marcus and Barneys New York, among others.
Building on the company's success, Loeffler Randall debuted their Fall/Winter 2007 ready-to-wear Collection to immediate praise.
In June 2007, Jessie was thrilled to win the CFDA Swarovski Award for Accessory Design (she was previously nominated in Spring 2006) and just weeks later give birth to two healthy and happy twin boys, Liam and Casper.

Perfect rainboots! I hate the way tall rainboots look (no ankle) and these are the best. I am usually somewhere between an 8 and a 9 - I ordered these in 9 and they were too large. Returned them for an 8 which are perfect!

Good looking, good fit, chafes at ankle - Like other reviewers, I wanted a low rain boot, something lighter and sleeker than what hits the streets. This fits the bill. But the rubber tongue sticks out, doesn't hug the foot, and the top of the boot chafes my ankles. I was hoping not to wear hose with these, but looks like I'll have to. I wear 9.5 shoe and the 10 fits fine. Very pricey--you're paying for the unique style.

The rainboot felt true to size and is a great alternative to a chunkier Hunter-style boot. It's very lightweight and could pack easily in a suitcase. And it looks great with a skirt and tights or skinny jeans (you can't even tell it's a rubber boot). However, my biggest concern was the narrowness of the heel (it tapers to about 1” width). This makes the boot really unstable, like your ankle could roll any second, which is exactly what you don't want while walking in the rain.

So far so good! I did a puddle dance on the first rainy day after receiving these. I would recommend going a size down. I'm a 6.5 and went for the 7 and it was duck foot sized so I ended up swapping it for the 6. The shoes seem really sturdy. My last pair of rain boots lasted all of three months before they began to rip open along the seams.

Purchased these boots because my tall rain boots were hard to manage if I wanted to wear them all day. These boots are perfect because they serve as rain boots, but aren't as bulky. They are warm, easy to put on, love the neutral color. They are also great even when it is not raining or snowing! So glad I purchased!

I am so stoked I bought these little booties. I live in San Francisco where the weather can be quite unpredictable within not only a day, but traveling a few miles. They are super comfortable, while keeping me dry. Also, I will admit that I've worn them more times when it's dry than when stormy! The only downside is the cotton laces come un-done often enough that I've considered looking for waterproof ones. Overall, worth the money.

Very comfortable and stylish rain boot! I do sometimes wish I didn't have to lace it up everytime, but this is a very minor issue that doesn't bring down my rating of the boots at all.

Thanks to the other reviewer who wears the same size as me (6.5), I purchased a size 6 and it fits perfectly. The shoe is slightly narrow, but flattering and I have no discomfort. I have destroyed a few pairs of good shoes in the NYC rain due to my refusal to purchase those disgusting tall rubber boots that others seem to have no problem wearing. I just can't do it. At 5'1 I would look like a complete fool- with that said, I am so grateful to have found these booties. They fit my personal style and although they are a bit pricey, they are worth every cent. Now I can finally look stylish in the rain without messing up my shoes! Such a great investment. No ugly Hunter boots for me.
