These glove-leather shoes are almost like going barefoot. If you want a lot of cushion in your sole, these shoes are not for you. They look great and feel great to me. Their look reminds me of ballet slippers. They would probably not be good for inclement weather conditions. I would consider them a warm weather shoe.

The picture looks better than the shoe. It is truly an economy shoes. A little to light weight and the sole is like paper. I was disappointed at the quality. It is very soft and a little to flimsy to really practice in.

The first thing to remember about these shoes is they are ECONOMY shoes. They could be folded in half and mailed in an envelope. They are basically leather bags for your feet. They aren't walking shoes, either. For some reason, they don't bend up the way you need to walk, so you have to sort of shuffle when wearing them (which is fine for ballroom dancing). They also smell very strongly and the black dye comes off on everything -- stockings, feet, anything. Wrap them in a plastic bag if toting them with clothes. That being said, they are the only pair of dance shoes I could find in my size. Since I am very tall, I found the absolute flatness of the shoe helpful in getting more dances because I'm not towering over every man in the place. They are extraordinarily light. The first time I wore them, I felt like I was gliding on a cloud. The price is hard to beat. So, if you don't mind the lack of fashion or the strong dye smell, they are great shoes.

I recently bought the Leo’s Econo Jazz Oxford for swing dancing. My normal shoe size is a 9.5... after 3 tries (good thing for free shipping), I kept the size 11. With 3/4 insoles (providing more arch support), these shoes are great for dancing and spinning. I would buy all color of this shoe.

I bought 2 pair of these shoes. The uppers are very comfortable. The soles are too thin for my liking so I took them to a shoe repair shop and he removed the heel, added a double layer of leather to the existing sole, and replaced the heel. This actually made the shoe more comfortable and will also increase the life of the sole. The cost of the additional thickness was $20.00. Even with this added cost the shoe is still a bargain in my opinion. I do 6 hours of Zumba Gold and 4 hours of dance aerobics a week. The shoes are comfortable and I have experienced no foot or leg problems. I really love this shoe and it has made my dancing much more enjoyable.

Jazz Oxfords - This is a great dance shoe. Everything else seems to gives me blisters, but this shoe is made of very flexible leather that just glides with my feet. I use this shoe for line dancing, so I added a comfort insole for a bit more overall support. It's great!

Great practice shoe - I'm a guy and I bought the white ones. I will likely order another pair or two. Follow the guidelines: order 1.5 sizes above your street size. (I'm a 10 and bought an 11.5, which fit well). I dance Salsa and Swing, and these gave me the right balance of grip and slip. You'll want a suede brush, as the bottoms can get pretty funktified.

Just Perfect - I am female and ordered this shoe 1/2 size larger than my normal shoe size which I often purchase in a wide. The fit is perfect. The leather quality is soft and attractive. Shoes arrived the day after I ordered them in time for dance class tonight which I was not expecting. I want them for ball room dancing without a heel as my husband and I are not very coordinated and I twisted my knee the last time we got off balance. I am in my 50s and want not interested in knee surgery due to dancing. In the past, I tried the hip hop shoe style but it is just too bulky for me. I do not find the support in the shoe a problem even though I normally purchase shoes with more support or use orthotics.

Could have danced all night... in them. Glad you were out of the size I usually wear. The half size larger was perfect.

Great Show Shoe - Took the online advice to order up and got a men’s size 10 for my son who usually wears a wide 8. They fit perfectly - nice and snug. They were great for his performance as the wolf in our local Beauty and the Beast!

Great Shoe!! The Oxford Jazz shoe is a STEAL!! It is amazingly comfortable. It is very durable and I have used this shoe in adult and teenage classes. It really stands the test. My dance teacher recommended my troupe get this shoe and I in turn have now 4 pairs in all colors. I also recommend this shoe to my training dance students and adults. They feel comfortable with balance and note the wonderful difference of being able to glide with ease. Also, the shoe stretches to meet the needs of the foot with minimal distortion in shape. I also have one flat-footed student and a very high arch myself. This shoe meets the needs of both of us! Strange I know but overall a great shoe!!

Jazz Oxfords - The shoes were worn by my daughter who performed at the Capital 1 Bowl in Orlando, FL. We realized at the last minute that we needed these shoes. I could not believe how quick we had the delivery at our door step; less than 24 hours plus there was not any charge for overnight delivery! What a bonus package deal! The shoes were comfortable and the price was the less expensive I could find. Zappos is highly recommended and we will use them again in the future! Keep up the great values offered by your company.

We use this shoe because it works well on carpet, which is what we often dance on at church venues, but it works well on all surfaces. It holds up better than jazz shoes that cost twice as much. The sole is suede leather, not cloth, as remarked by another customer and the sole is very long lasting. We actually wear through the leather body before the sole. You really can't beat it for the price!

Great shoe for the money - It was hard to know what size to order. I needed this for a 10 year-old boy to use for a ballroom dance shoe. We ordered a size 9 and he wears a size 6 in sneakers. It is a bit long, but good enough fit to keep.

Perfect dance shoe for five performances - I bought these shoes for my son who needed white "oxford" shoes for a play he was appearing in. These were inexpensive and fit the bill perfectly.

Jazz shoe - I bought these for my 7 year old son, so difficult to comment accurately about comfort. They look fine, but we ended up getting size 6 and I think he's about a size 3 street shoe!

Needs a leather sole. This shoe is a good buy. It is light and comfortable; however, it has a cloth sole. A leather sole would allow the dancer to spin - and would last longer. I don't anticipate using this shoe for more than one short go around. Thanks.

Great shoe for the money - Great dance shoe for the money. The sizing is not as indicated, however. I wear a 9 in a street shoe, and had to go with 11.5 in these.
