I bought this pair and the Le Chameau iris 2 for women. I am a not a guy, but I wear guy shoes sometimes. I can keep only one pair, and the choice was difficult. This rain boot doesn't hug my foot as well as the Iris, but It has a gorgeous plaid antimicrobial lining, and I can easily tuck in my pants. This is one well-made boot. I'm keeping the guy Vierzon. An absolutely awesome boot.

Bought the Vierzon for Quail hunting. A little large as been suggested because of D width and hopefully inersole will correct most of that issue but really like them. As my wife tells me how many boots do you need well probably no more now.
Brands I'd also recommend: Aigle, Muck, Danner

This boot has no insulation and is more of a rain boot. I also found that the uninsulated models run about a half size large. Le Chameau recommends ordering true size for the insulated models and down a half size for the non insulated versions.

I'm a 6'1 woman, and athletic. I love these boots. The quality is exceptional. The rubber is soft, flexible, and stretches if you had to tuck in jeans. Some brands are on the stiff side which is not all bad. Having said that the Le Chameau is my preference. At first I was going to order the Vierzon Nord Plus, but I wanted to go with the less expensive in case I didn't love them. I love! I ordered a 10 in men because in women sizes they were probably going to be tight around the calf. I wanted to make sure I was going to be able to tuck my jeans if needed. I have a pair of Kamik size 11 in women and they fit great but the calf area is tight and stiff leaving very little room for tucking. (still a great boot) My foot is regular width, and of course the boot is not tight because it's a rain boot. Fits as it should leaving room for a wellie sock or a thick sock. Overall a great buy. If you are a woman I recommend buying a man's size because it flatters and fits great around the calf area.
Brands I'd also recommend: Kamik if you like stiff good looking boots. For sure Le Chameau.

I am glad I ordered these because I was afraid the women's version would be too tight on the calf. It would've been because these fit just fine. A little roomy on the feet but nothing a wool sock can solve. I usually wear women's 8.5 and the 7 in men fit fine. These boots are comfy and I am happy with them. Not to mention, Zappos super duper extra fast shipping. Zappos, you are great!
