Lassen

This was the worst constructed shoe I have ever ordered from Zappos. I don't know why my earlier review was not posted, but this was shoddy beyond belief. The shoes were two different sizes (neither the right one). I ordered wide width and these were short and narrow. And the straps fell at different parts of the ankle.

Very nice sandal but not for me. The foot bed is soft (very comfortable) but does not seem suitable for frequent outdoor (beach) use. Would not dry out or stand up to wet weather, in my opinion. But nice for casual wear. Not what I was looking for.

Weirdly small compared to the other Lassen style I tried, which fit perfectly. This shoe was comfortably designed, but felt small and narrow (versus another similar style from the same brand!). The instep was narrow enough to cut into the top of my (admittedly chubby) foot. And the ankle strap on this one wasn't generous (had to use the very last hole, and even then it was quite snug). The latter wasn't surprising, though, since I'm a plus size woman. On the Lassen "Christina," the whole sandal felt roomier -- and weirdly, I was on the tightest setting on the ankle strap. Try both normal size and a half size up, maybe. I'm hesitant to go up a size, when the other style seems to just fit me better.

Cheap material. They are not sturdy at all, the wedge is molded plastic. The ankle straps are way too wide. Returned!

Very cute shoe, but poor fit for my feet. I usually wear a 10.5 W (42 Euro), which is what I ordered. The length was a little short. The shoe was overall wide (ball, arch, and heel), but too tight for me where the decorative cross strap is...it hit my bunion and was too tight. The rest of the toe box felt spacious. I would have tried the 11, but I have a medium (B-width) arch and ankle, and this shoe was already a little wide there for me.

These are really comfy shoes. That said, they are a tad bit wide (but I think that is working for me as a have a small bunion that's sore if shoes are tight) and they squeak when I walk. However, I am going to keep them mainly b/c they look good and I already wore them and therefore assume they cannot be returned.

I ordered this in my size (9W), and they are really big, so I gave them to my son who wears 10 to 10.5 and it fits him perfectly. He loves them. Reordering it a full size smaller (8W).

They were a bit wide but I wasn't concerned about that as they are very comfortable. I loved these the first day I wore them, unfortunately now on the third day, they are making a squeaking noise that is so loud I can't wear them to work. I have no idea how to fix it.

Great sturdy wedge. My one little complaint is the heel squeaks when you walk. I still love them though...even bought them in red. (They squeak too).

These shoes are really cute! They seem comfortable for the short time that I wore them around the house. But they make a horrible squeaky sound when you walk. Not the normal sound of the shoe hitting your foot (like a flip-flop), but a loud squeak noise. I have really wide feet and these fit well, but I think they run about half a size small in the length.

Love the shoe, but when you have a wide foot, it is hard to fit your foot. The shoes are definitely not as wide as marked, a shame because I really liked them. Hard to tell about the arch support being my foot is too wide for them.

They rub. In lots of places. And the footbed, which feels really comfortable when you first step into them, becomes very uncomfortable after a few hours. They are very attractive and comfortable to wear, as long as I don't wear them past lunchtime.

These shoes are great! I wear a 9 wide which is what I ordered. They fit perfectly right out of the box. In fact, I walked my dog for a mile immediately after receiving them. They are stylish and comfortable.

These shoes are very comfortable and the wedge is just the right height. Perfect for a long day of sight seeing on vacation or a work day at the office. The style could be a bit more modern, but overall they're wonderful. Great purchase!

Very comfortable and stylish. However, the quality is extremely poor. The insole was misaligned with the shoe such that it was constantly sliding out the rear as I walked around. I had to make cuts and glue it in just to make the insole stay in the shoe. This was all on the first day - very disappointing.

Way small, not red. No way this is a "wide."

I was very happy with a different pair of Lassen shoes I purchased two years ago, so I decided to try these. It was a big mistake. These are still sitting in their original box for return after trying them on. They are marked as the same size, but one is bigger than the other and slightly wider. One shoe is a full size smaller than indicated and the other a half size smaller. The strap at the top with the "ring" fits well on the smaller shoe and cuts into the ankle on the larger one. Truly shoddy workmanship. Not sure if I will try Lassen again.

Despite the W in the sizing, this shoe is NOT a wide. Possibly the most narrow sandal I've tried on in a long while, I wouldn't even call it a Regular width. Too bad, because it's really cute and the perfect height.

The shoes seemed a little small, although they might have broken in. They gapped around the middle of my foot pretty well, so I definitely didn't want to size up. I thought they were kind of cute, but not as cute as I was hoping. The sole is really nice, though, and would be great if the shoe fit correctly.

Very well padded footbed and would be very comfortable if not that the fit is too wide. Alas, I have to return.
