Overall:

These vegan boots look amazing and wear in well. The best option for vegan cowboy boots I have ever been able to find! The only challenge about these boots is that due to faux leather materials there is not that much breathing room for my toes and in the rain water tends to leak in slightly. Overall, love them; I just wish they were water resistant.

My sister emailed me the image of these boots from the Zappos site a few months back, saying they made her homesick for Oklahoma (where we grew up). I saved that email and when her birthday rolled around, was delighted to send them to her as a present. I love shopping with Zappos because of the incredibly customer friendly return/exchange process, so I didn\'t worry that I was guessing a bit about the size. She opened them with me on the phone (she lives on the east coast) and just loved their stunning red color. They fit great, and she even posed with them for her new Facebook profile. To say we are satisfied is an understatement. These are boots that will get you noticed!

I purchased these boots as a Birthday gift for my daughter. She loves them. They look great, and they\'re very comfortable. She wears them to school and when she goes out in the evenings. I would also like to add a comment about Zappos.com\'s Customer Service. The person who took my order was very friendly and accommodating. I received my order immediately. It was great doing business with Zappos.com, and I will definitely shop with them again.

Wonderful boots just in time for the fall. I had been looking for an excellent pair of cowboy boots. The local stores did not carry what I was looking for at a good price. This is all leather and has an excellent price tag. They are comfortable, look great and have received a lot of compliments. I cannot beat that for this price.

First off, I was very excited to find VEGAN cowboy boots anywhere, and Zappos has the best prices, and amazing customer service/return policy. Five stars for Zappos automatically. Laredeo Western Boots is a decent boot company. I find the boots comfy, durable, and very stylish. I'm a rockabilly guitarist who lives in the big city and uses a bicycle for transportation and these boots hold up very well. I love them, and definitely using Zappos.com next time I need footware.

Gorgeous boots that were even more beautiful when I took it them of the box! It\'s a very intensely pigmented red on pretty smooth leather with a fiery sort of design. A little higher than typical cowboy boots, so it sort of pushes into the arch of your foot a little (since I have flat feet, it actually helps me). Takes some breaking into around the toe, but that can be easily remedied through continued wear and thicker socks. They really add spice to a simple outfit!

I bought these boots too wear for a special occasion. I had to wear them for the first time, all day and into the evening for a benefit for a friend who is critcally ill. We had to walk a lot and I was on my feet for about 12 hours.They were so comfortable my feet never hurt, friends gave me many compliments on my New Boots; you could tell they were brand new, but I never had a problem and they looked great with my jeans and they felt wonderful. At the end of the day, when I took them off, they were totally broken in, and I was so happy I had worn them because I had Happy Feet and still managed to look fashionable all day! I reccommend these boots to anyone who is interested in a great western look, style and comfort. Thank you Zappo's and Laredo!

I ordered the boots for a week long horseback riding trip in WY. They were a great value and extremely comfortable. The boots fit to size with socks for riding. The back panel is not leather, which wasn't a real problem, but it does look shinier than the rest of the boot. If you wear them under your jeans, no one will know!

Runs small & narrow.I love the fact that these are vegan cowboy boots, yet they look like the real deal! They run small & narrow though. My husband is usually a size 9, and had to finally get a size 10 in order to get a good fit that was long enough and not too narrow. He's gotten many compliments on these boots... they are sharp-looking!

It's been a full year since I've had these boots. I've worn them on construction sites and at the office for five days a week for the past year. I've worn them in the rain, sun, cold days, and warm days. I've only had to replace the rubber on the heal. By now though, the sole is a bit too thin and it's time to move on. I'm very happy with the performance of the boot and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Laredo...

I like them!!I bought a pair of these for the old western style... I get positive comments every time I wear them... when I was in the break in process I wore them for twelve hours straight and my feet did not hurt the next day. Overall I think this is a wonderful product for all u western wear fans.

Worked all weekend in my new Laredos and was so impressed I ordered another pair. Fit is excellent, these did not need a break-in for me. No shiny leather or fancy stitching, perfect for those looking for a sturdy, reliable boot without paying two days wages. Zappos had these to me in a very short time, very good service!

Fantastic boot - I love these boots. They took no time to break in, and they are comfortable. The inside isn't very cushioned, they may benefit from an insole. But the stitching is beautiful and they look great with skirts or jeans. The shaft isn't too narrow, and they are easy to pull on and off. The leather is a bit lighter at the bottom in comparison to the shaft, but with a little brown polish, they match. Overall, I am delighted with my boots. This is my first pair of cowboy boots but not my last!

Lloyd - I wore the shoes the first time out, thinking that the leather would stretch but it didn't. The boots are too narrow and hurt my feet. Very disappointed.

Boot is too young for me.Dress Boot - I purchased these boots to be worn as a semi-dress boot. A nice boot. It is just like the ad pics showed it to be. The fit is good and the ease of getting them on and off with the side zipper is GREAT. The heel at 1 3/4 is a lot higher than I expected, which detracts from the comfort rating. I just wear them to the office and park 10 minutes away the end of the day I am ready to take them off.

Best Purchase - I had ordered boots from another online business that promised I would have them before Christmas. 3 days before Christmas they emailed me and said it would be after Christmas before they would be shipped. I went into panic mode. I found Zappos. I placed the order on December 22, and had them the very next day, and the shipping was free. Placing my order was hassle free. The people they have in customer service are the friendliest I have ever dealt with.

Laredo 5740 - Online the shoe looks cool and very western, but when I opened up the box, the shoe looks very fake. It’s almost a rubber-like plastic material, too shiny. The shoe fits well, a little bit of space at the heel.
