I love Lakai and my favorite style is Mariano. This style looked nice so I decided to try it. I was really disappointed with the quality of craftsmanship of this style. I mean each shoe looked different. Everything was off and made super crappy. I am returning them.

These sneakers will hug your feet and leave your ankles feeling free. The low cut ankle will leave your ankles feeling sexy & your feet happy. This is a solid pair of kicks that look & feel great.

Awesome shoe. I can't believe I ever stopped wearing Lakais. True to fit. Great vulcanized sole combined with cushioning that other skate shoe companies wish they could duplicate. Durable materials. Great style - understated, not hipstery at all... just a great shoe.

These are great skate shoes! They last longer than Vans or Nike skates. They need insoles if your skate punk has high arches. These are great shoes.

I bought this same model last year and really liked it so I bought it again. It seems they made some changes and I'm disappointed. The tongue had less padding and no elastic to keep it centered. the sole is different and less comfortable. I won't buy this shoe again.

I've owned several pairs of Lakais, but I'm wearing my first set of Manchesters right now. Extra padding around the ankle and tongue, along with some perforations in the toe area make them extra-comfortable right out of the box. They don't break in as fast as Vans, but they last longer. They also look really good. No skate shoe will last particularly long if you're skating a lot, but Lakais have been the most durable of the skate shoes I've tried, and the Manchester seems as sturdy as the others (the differences between models are fairly minimal).

One of the best shoes I've ever skated and exactly what I've been looking for. Grippy sole that is just a hair more cushioned than your average Vans, and a tough suede upper. The lace holes are in two layers so you can hide the laces for extra protection against ripping, or you can just lace them normally. The high collar gives a bit more support. Some people call this a mid shoe, but it's not because it doesn't cover your ankles. Rather it's a low shoe that comes up high enough to prevent heel slip, yet is still low enough to easily take on and off. There are eyelet holes near the bottom of the foot for ventilation, which work better than perforations. And the shoe just looks nice. It has that chukka silhouette that can easily be a chiller or even work shoe (but that would defeat the purpose of all that skate functionality). Bonus points because who doesn't like Marc Johnson?

This shoe looks and feels surprisingly good on the foot. The stitched channels on the sides give the shoe a streamlined, low profile look. If you like the durability of suede but dislike the puffy look, you'll like the Mariano. If you usually skate the Manchester but want to try something new, this is like an evolution of that model. The fit is proper, no hot spots anywhere. The sole is grippy, but you would think it'd have more cushion considering it has a pretty nice, removable insole. But the insole feels somewhat hard.

I bought them in all the available colors. They are good looking casual shoes and the are actually functional in that I skate board in them.

These are such a good skate shoes day in and day out. With so many gimmicky models out these days, the Manchester stays true to the basic need for a tough suede upper and a grippy vulc sole. They do not have some flavor of the month pro name on them, so the price is down to earth and there are always a ton of colorways. The quality seems to have quietly improved over the years (which is the opposite of what I can say about Janoskis).

Great shoe, very comfortable. Somewhat shorter and narrower than I would expect from sizes marked, as noted by other reviewers. Laces slightly on the short side.

So impressed with the quality of this shoe. I've been skating for 15 years and seen skate shoe styles change. The Linden combines the tough suede and puffy tongue of the 90's with the lightweight materials and insole advancements of the 2010's. I also happen to think that Lakai's build quality these days is top notch, ahead of Nike SB, Emerica, Adidas and Huf in a side-by-side comparison.

I love these shoes. I skate two miles to school every day and from day one these were comfortable. The soles are so cushy, like a mattress under my feet. Way more cushioning than the Vans I usually get. I also got compliments on the way they look, because the green and red look just like Gucci colors. They are super luxurious!

First of all, I have to say that all modern Lakai's are pretty much at the top tier of the skateboard shoe category right now as far as I'm concerned. The quality of materials and constructions is top notch, and despite their simple looks, there is a lot of functional technology hidden in the shoes. The Vincents look very classic but there are features like a hidden mesh panel behind the tongue for breathability. I usually skate the Marcs and the Vincent has a more peanut-shaped silhouette which I'm not a fan of. The thick sole is there to last longer, but it also weighs the shoe down a bit. The Vincent is actually the same weight as the Marc, but because the weight is concentrated at the sole, you feel it more. The upside of that weight is that this shoe really feels indestructible. The little leather stripes at the sides and back are classy. This is really meant to be a tank of a shoe with some understated style.

Lakai always provides extreme comfort without sacrificing the skateboard functionality and style all us skaters require. These are very durable!

My new favorite brand of skate shoes. Lakai is making some of the best looking sneakers out there right now classic lines with lots of nice colors. I've had my Picos for just over a year and they've been my go-to for that whole time. I can throw them on and they're comfortable enough for all day walking around. They're showing their age now and I'm glad there are still some colors available so I can get a replacement. I found them to run about 1/2 size smaller than expected.

Theses are fun and comfortable, good for a slightly wider foot. My son wears them on non PE days and they are holding up well.

Lakais have come a long way in quality. These shoes are proof of that. Excellent design, quality materials, nicely put together. I am glad to see skate shoes move in this direction, a blend of 90's tech and modern low profiles.

These are great shoes that are very comfortable. I normally wear 9 but purchased a pair from brick and mortar in 9½ (only one left). I then bought two more pairs on Zappos. The black and the red pair. The red pair is very cool. I use foaming bubbles to clean the white rubber soles, it works great and makes the shoes look a lot better.
