Lakai Reviews
My son is very pleased with these shoes. They fit him well and the style is cool.He skates in them and they seem to be holding up pretty well.
Very comfortable and stylish shoe. It is a skater shoe but can be casual as well, not as wide and girthy as a normal skate shoe and the tongue isn't bulging out.
All around great skate shoe from a skater owned company. The new insole has a bit more cushion and arch support. Great grip with a durable toe cap.

What more can I say I have not said in other reviews of Zappos.com Excellent Service, Excellent product, excellent customer service! I only write a review each time because you ask for one. I want to be nice but I have nothing new to write. If there is a problem or correction you take cars of it. What more can I write and how many times? Is it OK if I do not write any more reviews? Your company is Excellent and I can't add any more.
This shoe was like putting on a slipper and shockingly has some midfoot support in the thick cushioned foot bed. Only reason I gave them 4 stars for comfort is because until I broke them in, they bruised the back of my heel when I walked, because there isn't much cushion on the back of the shoe behind the heel. After they got broken in, they became my favorite shoes. Even feels good to stand in all day at work on a cement floor. May be buying another pair in a different color!

My son loves this brand. They are not expensive. However, they don't last very long. The blue stitching started to come undone after a month of owning them. They are stylish, but not high quality.
These are great shoes. Most skate shoes do not offer solid support but these are an exception. They last much longer than other shoes, including Vans and Tony Hawk. All my boys have some form of Lakai's and they are terrific shoes!
Really nice cush factor. I just wore out a pair of Manchester select and got these. I was only mildly disappointed in the sole. It has a fabric in the rubber and I think it is a little less grippy than the Manchesters. On the other hand I can reposition my feet more easily. I do like gooey grip though. I love them anyway. Highly recommend.
Great skate shoes with excellent board feel. I've owned 3 pairs and loved them all. And Zappos is the best place to buy them from.
Great looking shoe and fits great. Sleek and casual. Zappos was amazing with shipping as always. However, I recieved my shoes and it seemed like they had already been worn. They were already laced and the laces in tone of the shoes had been cut and tied together. Also, it came in a generic box that wasn't Lakai. Also weird. My spare of laces seemed cheap and not like normal shoe laces. However, I will be keeping the shoes because they look great and there was no damage to the shoes.
Shoe looked great and felt just fine, but the sole wore out faster than any skate shoe I have ever seen. The soles were worn through in one week. Zappos is great and took care of everything.
These shoes rock. They are stylish, true to size, and very comfortable. If you're looking for a lot of padding, look elsewhere, but they do have good arch support.
These shoes are stylish, comfortable and last longer than any other skate shoe that we've purchased. Awesome shoe!
This is a very high quality shoe, and is true to stated size. I have had Vans, DC, Etnies and Converse - I think these shoes are the best made of the bunch. I am a World Ranked slalom skateboarder and these shoes work best for me. The tongues have elastic gussets to keep them in the middle of your foot. The stitching is excellent, with doubled or heavy thread. The soles seem to be thick, but flexible, and grippy. The emblems are embroidered on instead of being glued or stitched - not important to performance, but emblematic of Lakai's quality. I am going to buy another pair in a different color, soon.
Cool shoes, and comfortable. The insole was thin and wore out fast, so I got a new one. nice shoes.
Narrow shoe so if you have really wide feet, it might be no go, but good overall nice seamless toe cap.
Attractive shoe, comfortable out of the box. Seem to be pretty well constructed so far. Not much in the way of arch support which on my flat feet led to discomfort standing for long periods, but not many shoes that I've tried in this style are much better for that.
I purchased these Lakais for my 13 year old son. High marks all around. Fit, comfort, flexibility. He says they are the "best shoes ever." What more can I say? Zappos ordering and delivery was a breeze, too!

Lakai has been built around grass roots tradition since day one. In 1993, Mike Carroll and Rick Howard thought they might have a better formula for a skateboard company--- one that made products the team would be proud of and kept an atmosphere that was supportive and motivating. While it was a risk, they felt like they owed it to skateboarding and skateboarders to take that risk. In 1999, facing a similar situation in respect to footwear, Mike and Rick introduced Lakai Limited Footwear with the same dedication and pride they have always invested into their skateboarding and the Girl/Chocolate
