I just received these boots yesterday and I am in love! They fit perfectly true to size, are super comfortable, and look amazing. This is my second pair of La Canadienne boots and because I know how durable and weather-proof they are, I had no hesitation in spending the money. Buy them! You won't regret it.

I bought these because I had a pair of La Canadienne\'s before and they were exceptional quality and very comfortable. I hesitated because of the price but once again am so happy with these boots! I wear jeans inside them and they are not too tight at all and I have larger calves. I wore them all over Europe - they are so comfortable! You will love these boots. Stylish too - not bulky like Uggs.

If there were 10 stars, this boot deserves them! After ordering back and forth many times due to Zappos unbelievable customer service I finally got these boots. I have arthritis and new boots are almost out of the question...not any more. These are soft, warm, comfortable to the Nth degree and my husband says really cute. I didn't think boots like these existed. Thank you La Canadienne and Zappos of course!

I'd say these run large in the larger sizes anyway. I got the size I like to think I wear and they are comfortable, but I probably could have gone down another 1/2 size.

So pretty that it pains me to send it back...but there's not enough arch support. Beautiful, sleek boot for the right foot!

If you have skinny ankles this is the boot for you! Honest they are narrow around the ankle and calf. The material and boot itself are of a nice quality. There is no lining so I can't imagine they are warm.

This is my third pair of La Canadienne boots. I have two pairs with heels, but after having ankle surgery, I needed a flatter pair that were stylish and comfortable to wear around New York City. These shoes are amazing! The boots are extremely comfortable and stylish. The sole is so flexible and cushioned, they feel like sneakers! They look excellent with pants tucked in or out and with skirts. La Canadienne is completely waterproof and extremely warm despite their lightweight insulation. My old pair is 6 years old and still going strong (and fully waterproof). I recommend these highly!

The Tovah's are just perfect! I bought the black suede and was surprised at how great they look. The suede is very soft and pliable and the color is a deep, deep black. I love the deep tread on the soles which will keep me safe walking in our newly fallen snow. Best of all, they feel so comfortable, fit beautifully over my skinny jeans, and will look great with skirts for work. The buckles at knee and ankle provide a classy, dressy touch. Beautiful boot.

If this had been a first-quality pair of boots, they'd have definitely been keepers. I like that they're Canadian-made instead of being turned out in an Asian sweat shop. Their versatile styling makes them great for casual wear but they can also be dressed up nicely. I love the double buckle detail - a nice touch - and the heel height - relatively flat but stylishly set on a platform. I also love the slim shaft - a nice change from all the boots I have to stay away from that gape on my small calves. All this with their waterproof construction makes for what should be a very nice package. How disappointing that La Canadienne passed on this pair as first quality - the leather crinkled puckered most unattractively at different spots on each boot, making them not only unsightly but uncomfortable as well. The leather cut in at my right ankle and at the bottom of the front of the shaft on the left boot. For the steep price tag that accompanies these boots, La Canadienne should be a little pickier about the leather they use. I appreciate that leather is a natural product with inherent variations, but these imperfections should not interfere with the fit of the boot and they shouldn't make them downright unattractive. So sorry that Zappos has to take the hit on these due to a quality control issue on the part of the manufacturer.

I was looking for a comfortable, waterproof boot after getting my Uggs soaked through on a vacation. The La Canadienne Tovah were perfect; I put them on within minutes of them arriving and walked 6 miles with nary a blister or issue. They continue to be my go-to shoe when its cold, snowy, or raining and besides being practical, they look stylish. I normally wear a narrow, and these are a bit wide, but not sloppy. And best of all, not made in China!

These were my first La Canadienne boots, although I own a pair of summer shoes by the same brand. The design of the Tovah boot is sleek and modern; however, I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the leather. It wasn't as smooth as expected and the part around the foot actually feels stiff. The foot bed is relatively flat, providing no arch support. Putting inserts makes the boot tight. I had high expectations given the brand and the price tag, but sadly will be sending these back to Zappos.

I had high hopes for these boots but it seems like La Canadienne has decided to compromise quality for to raise profits. Too bad. Every boot I have purchased in the past fit like a dream-these look and feel cheap, have no arch support, and my heels pop out of the bottom of the boot when I walk. Oh well it seems good things don't last forever!

I love this boot. I don't know what another reviewer is talking about mentioning that they are not smooth. Mine are super smooth and supple. If anything, the leather seems a bit too soft to me. They held up through a Chicago winter, rain, mud; all sorts of undesirable elements. Extremely comfy and stylish. Calf fit is snug--perfect with skinny jeans. Love!

Another winner! This is my third pair of La Canadiennes. This one, like the others, is super comfortable, also stylish. The quality of the leather and finish details are very good. Their looks hold up (in our rainy Seattle weather) remarkably well. These are sturdy boots that have lasted me years. Definitely worth the investment.

These were a big splurge for me and I couldn't be sorrier. The shoe feels great. I could walk all day in them, but the leather on the inside portion of the shaft tends to fold over and press on my inner ankle area. I wore these to work recently and came home with bruises just above the inner ankle bone. The tenderness lasted for about a week. Unfortunately, I purchased these at one of Zappos’ outlets (still a big splurge) and can't return them.

Love this boot! As comfortable as my sneakers. I have a narrow ankle and usually have trouble with boots being too spacious so I slide around in the boot. Not with this one! These are a definite keeper.

These boots are so well made and gorgeous! I do not think that you can find more attractive waterproof snow boots for city living. I love the warm lining and great tread (I have not seen any other boots with this type of tread before). These are definitely my best buy of the season.

I am very happy with my purchase. Originally I saw these shoes on other websites, but my size was back ordered until who knows when. So I checked Zappos, who always has my size. I love the look of the whole shoes. They are very easy to wipe clean, if needed. So far I have always worn my none skinny pants tucked in and there is still room left in calf area, I was glad that I read into the sizing of boots before buying them as that helped me greatly.

This is my second pair of La Canadienne and I love them. The previous pair lasted through 7-8 yrs of horrible snow/slush/rain before leaking & breaking down. This pair is functional, feminine, immediately comfy, and much more lightweight than the last pair. I do treat my boots with protector to fight seepage, just in case. I normally wear a 10, but sized down 1/2 to a 9 1/2. I am short, and these come an inch below my knee. I have a big foot, narrow ankle and 14.5" calves, and they fit perfectly, with a bit of room for socks and tucking skinny jeans. These boots are perfect with hip, urban, but still feminine style.
