I bought these boots about 18 months ago and I really love them. They are stylish and very, very comfortable. However, I am very disappointed by the quality of these boots, given their price. After a year and a half, the suede is very scuffed and worn down around the edges, one of the heels has become unglued and there is a very loud and persistent squeaking noise when I walk. If these boots had been inexpensive, I wouldn't mind, but, given the price, I really expected these boots to hold up longer to regular wearing.

Buyer beware! I bought La Canadienne boots very similar to these and, although they are supposedly "guaranteed waterproof," they are most certainly not waterproof! Snow leaks through the zipper at the ankle. I contacted La Canadienne about this and their response was that only the seams are waterproof, not the zippers! Talk about unethical, deceptive business practices! Stay far away from this brand!

I recently ordered the Galaxy boots as a second alternative to the boots I really wanted which was the Kara. At that time, the latter was out of stock in my size. But two days after receiving this, the Kara became available so I decided to order the latter too and compare. Both are lovely. The toe box is neither boxy nor pointy and offers ample space for the toes. The shaft is narrow compared to most tall boots out there but I have really thin legs so there is still a good one inch space at the top opening. It is true to size which I find consistent with La Canadienne. The wedge heels offer just the right amount of height and the traction is great. But compared to the Kara, this makes my feet look disproportionately large probably because of the wedge. So I decided to return this and go with the Kara which looks more elegant. For casual everyday look this will probably work, especially paired with jeans. For skirts and dresses, I'm not too sure.
I'd also recommend: Stuart Weitzman, Cole Haan, Mephisto

These boots are perfect for those women with skinnier thighs, as they fit snuggly around, leaving no space between the thigh and the boot.

I absolutely love these boots! In fact, I bought another pair in brown too. Have had a lot of compliments on them so far and they look great with skirts or pants. Didn't find that they ran small like some of the reviews said. Worth the money for sure. I live in Aspen so needed warm boots with good grip for the snow & ice. Perfect!

Super comfortable. This brand is great and worth the money. I have wide feet and they fit well/true to size. Also I have little kids and I can completely run around in these all day with them!
