I love the Galaxy boot - These boots are amazingly comfortable and stylish. I have to haul up and down San Francisco hills to get to the train for my commute, but I don't have to change into office shoes when I arrive. These look great en route and all day. And while my husband has previously cringed at my comfort shoes, he really likes these. I have calves, and although these boots are snug, they're still comfortable. So, don't shy away from these just because other boots were too tight on your calves. Give them a try -- Zappos will let you return them for free if they don't work out!

La Canadienne Galaxy - Remarkably comfortable and very attractive. I know you have probably heard this before but my foot is very hard to fit practically my whole life. I have bunions on the outside and my feet are wide with pinky toe issues. Anyway, these boots are incredibly comfortable. They fit right all over and can wear them all day long and my feet do not hurt. The fabric is light but substantial, warm and really nice looking. I have tried a lot of the comfort shoes, Born, etc., but La Canadienne is my savior. I am thankful to have found them. This may sound over the top but I have been through so many shoes.

Awesome boots! I didn't had to saccrifice style because of the cold weather! This is my first time living a a cold weather place. Always in Texas, never had a need for waterproof winter boots. Now my family had to move to Northern Japan, and boy there's lots of snow here! With these great boots I got the heel hight that I wanted, with the confort and warmth I needed. Super! I wear them all the time. Worth the price! And thank you Zappos for delivering to APO (military address) so fast and with the same "free shipping free returns". I love Zappos!

Warm and comfy! They're well-made and comfortable right out of the box. The heel seems high but the shoe is very stable. For those who may like to know, the boot seems to be made for a more slender foot and leg. They aren't ideal for wide feet or large calves.

Galaxy - I love this boot. The boot is very well made and VERY comfortable. The only reason I returned them was the heel height. I need a higher heel to wear with my jeans.

Beautiful Boot! For a girl that loves sky-high stiletto heels, I never would have thought a wedge-heeled boot could be so sleek, sexy, and elegantly stylish. On top of that, the Galaxy is so comfortable. I could almost sleep in them. The La Canadienne product design team really knows what they're doing!

Gorgeous boots! This is a very well constructed boot, both inside and out. The outer appearance is sleek, stylish and elegant. The lining is plush and warm while the footbed is ergonomically padded and extremely comfortable. I was also pleased to find that La Canadienne footwear is eco-friendly. Well worth the money, think of it as an investment. I'd like to note per other user’s comments that this boot seems to have been constructed for rather slim calves. I have extremely slender calves and the Galaxy fits me like a glove, literally. I can't wear them over denim, only tights or knee socks.

Perfect boot - I wore these shoes all week so far - to work and to two parties. They are extremely comfortable (I was standing a lot) and they look great for all different types of events dressed down or up.

Lovely... This is a beautiful boot. I'm wearing them so far this Fall with trousers and jeans but they look perfect with skirts and dresses as well-dressier than I thought. Best of all the fit is very comfortable. The heel is the perfect height and the wedge makes them great to wear all day.

Galaxy Review - These do run a bit small and on the narrow side, but in my case that is a good thing because I am between a 6.5 and 7 in la Canadienne boots. These feel much lower in height than they actually are, and are snug but comfortable. Not for those with larger calves though. I love that they do not have a gap around the top- looks very sleek with skirts and fit great under pants.

Nice Boot - Originally I ordered an 11, but it was WAY too big. Normally I need a 10.5 or 11. I ordered a 10 and hoped it would fit. Zappos was just the best about taking back the too big boot and sending the smaller. The shaft could be a little longer/taller but otherwise it’s a comfortable well fitting boot. And its water proof!

So comfy, but not sexy enough! This was the most comfy boot to slip my foot into. The side zipper made getting it on and off a snap. The only problem was that it is too bulky to wear with dresses and it gaped around the top. I wanted something that I could wear indoors at work, not just when I’m out doing errands (which this would be perfect for - it looked great with a coat on and one could probably walk forever in them).

Great Boot! I ended up ordering this boot from Nordstrom since Zappos didn't have my size at the time. The boots are extremely well made and very comfortable. Wore immediately for long periods of time with no break in required. Boot is also very warm. The lining/insulation and wedge heel make it great for winter. It is very versatile, and can be worn with jeans and skirts. Other reviewers commented on the tight shaft, but I was surprised to get at least 4 fingers between the boot and calf. I wear a size 9.5 and it was generously cut in width and length. I definitely recommend this boot and will be trying other styles by the La Canadienne.

Insanely Comfortable! Great, comfortable shoe - though for a day of heavy walking, I would prefer something flatter. The lining all up the legs makes for the comfy-ist boot I've owned. Fits true to size. Got this in Fort Bragg this winter - hopefully won't be too warm for Southern Cali spring weather.

Elegant, well designed, good fit and comfortable boot - I am thrilled with my Galaxy boots. Comfortable, and stylish. The company designers at La Canadienne know what they are doing, as other brand name zip boots often don't fit well and throw off my proportion (look clutzy because of gaps in the shaft and too-square toe-boxes). I also don't worry about making my bunions worse when wearing these boots.

Wonderful! Got these boots just about three weeks ago, and am loving them more every day. They are extremely comfortable, and fit very well (and I get lots of compliments on them!) I have bunions on both feet, but have no issues with them when wearing these boots (I often wear them all day at work, and into the night as well). The material both inside and out is wonderful to the touch. Highly recommend them.

Love the boot. Very comfortable, I can wear them multiple days in a row without any discomfort. They are warm, so I needed to wait for cooler weather to wear. I have thin calves and they fit without major gapping.
