I had to order one full size bigger but they are so comfortable and I love the look of them. They are very stylish and I have received many compliments on them. I highly recommend!

Thank you Zapppos for ease of shopping and returns! I wanted a sleeker winter work boot and Blanche fits the bill perfectly. I tried the patent crinkle leather and loved them, but since I live in a ridiculously rugged, rural area and the patent screamed urban hip I traded for the flat blacks. I have gotten so much wear out of these boots! The lower cut is perfect for my short height and shorter legs and looks great under skirts and pants. In a single day of work I might be required to shovel sidewalks of snow, traverse unpaved play yards, and attend public meetings. This boot keeps the wet and cold off my feet, and cuts a comfortable professional silhouette. The heel gives me a little height, but remains sure footed. I still have my Sorels and Uggs, but these La Canadiennes kick my winter professional foot-gear up a stylish notch. This is most I\'ve ever paid for a pair of shoes, and totally worth it. No regrets. Smashing fit. Sure footed, sleek, modern silhouette. Waterproof. If you wear wool socks instead of tights you will want to opt for larger width. But length remains true. And Zappos customer service was superb! 5 stars all the way.

I bought a pair of these boots (in red) in Montreal 5 year ago! I get compliments on them every time I wear them (no exaggeration). They are superbly made. They are waterproof and warm and extremely comfortable. They are the best boots I've ever owned. Short of going back to Montreal, I thought I would never be able to find La Canadienne boots here in Boston. After a quick google search I found them on Zappos and purchased a pair in black. La Canadienne superb quality is still evident. I am so happy that Zappos carried these boots. I will definitely shop Zappos again! The service was great and the selection is second to none!

Great boots! They are honestly as comfortable as sneakers. The only thing is I'd like if they were an inch or two higher. But I wear them a lot, especially with skirts. Very good quality!

I have now had to return these boots twice. The 9 (which I normally wear) were too tight. So was the 9.5. In fact I could hardly tell the difference. So, alas, these are not for me. Make sure you consider buying at least a whole size above your normal size in these.

I got my 9 WW boots yesterday and hooray they fit. I usually take an 8 W. My orthotics fit perfectly and the boots are very comfortable. I have a slightly wider than average calf and the boot fits. It is very hard to find a boot that is orthotic friendly. I special ordered another brand from a specialty shoe store for more money and I now have two pair of boots! I think this pair will be better for cold and wet weather. I can even where a pair of slightly thick socks with this boot to keep my toes warmer. The boots are wonderful and I am so happy. The only thing I would caution about is the sizing, because I had to go up a whole size and a width to get the right fit. Zappos took the first pair back with no trouble and credited my credit card very quickly. Zappos gets an A+ for service and notifying me when the right size came in. Great job.

I have problem feet, and finding attractive shoes is very difficult. These are not only beautiful, but they are surprisingly comfortable, even though they only come in wide, and I normally wear double wide. I originally wanted the red, which looked totally adorable in the picture, but because the red were not available in my size I ordered a black pair in my normal size and a red pair one half size smaller, hoping they would fit. But when the red arrived, they were too shiny, while the black look classy and elegant. I kept the black ones and I'm entirely satisfied with them, but if they made the red in a non-patent leather, I would buy them in a heartbeat. This is my third pair of LaCanadienne, and while they are expensive, they are definitely worth it for those of us who have trouble finding comfortable shoes.

Wow, the boots are fantastic. I was able to order them in a wide width and they fit perfect. I have already received several compliments. I have worn them comfortably for hours without having to "break them in". Delivery was right to my door and I am very satisfied with the boots and the service.

I was thrilled with these boots, both beautiful and comfortable (and waterproof)! My only complaint is that they don't come in brown. You will not regret this purchase! And, of course, love Zappos!

These boots are great. Comfy, well-made, waterproof. Exactly what you want in a pair of sharp everyday boots in a place where it rains.
