La Canadienne

This is the second pair of these that I bought. They are wonderful: very comfortable, I can do lots of walking, they give great height, and they are roomy enough to wear with warm socks.

These are very nice shoes: stylish, light, unique in every inch of their leather being. Normally, I wear 6.5, but this time, although the length was good, the arch support landed in a wrong spot. So, I went for a 1/2 size up and that was it. The shoes are amazing. They go with everything - suit, jeans, skirt. Highly recommended for office too.

The boots fit great. Very comfortable!\r\nI am not comfortable in heals at all, but\r\nthese boots look good and I could wear them for hours.

These are great boots! A friend in Quebec recommended them to me, since she says she wears them pretty much every day in the winter. I can see why! They are extremely well made and worth the money.

I received these ankle boots last week and absolutely them! Very comfortable, well made, and easy to wear. I generally have comfort issues with shoes/boots due to long toes that are sensitive. These boots feel wonderful. I have worn them around the house for hours with no problem. I cannot wait for fall!

I love patent leather and these boots are cute! I was safe and ordered it in black. My first choice was cherry! Now I need to save to get a second pair in my favorite color. I read the reviews and ordered a 1/2 size larger because of my wide feet and I'm glad I did. They fit well and are very comfortable! These boots are a fashion winner!

Nice shoes. Great heel height, nice and stable. The only bummer is that I think the top portion could be a bit looser and lower. It fits me almost like an ankle boot. Overall, I'm pleased with these shoes.

I am tall and love the height of these boots. I take a 10 1/2 (which is normally unavailable) and the 11 was fine (10 too small). Lightweight, stylish, flattering look (my feet do not look large, and the calves are trim). Expensive, but worth it. I have been searching for new tall boots for 3 seasons! (Many orders from Zappos!) Finally found them!

I purchased these shoes last year and proceeded to wear them almost daily for about 4-5 months, until the weather allowed open-toed shoes again. They were the most comfortable shoes I\'ve ever worn. I have to be on my feet for most of my 8 hours and these shoes were fantastic! My only complaint is that the fur lining, which is incredible comfortable, wore away at the heel, which I wouldn\'t have expected in the first few months on shoes that are so expensive.

These ended up being too tight on my calf. I also ordered up 1/2 a size as recommended, and they were still too narrow. It's a cute boot, though, especially for being waterproof. I'm sad it didn't fit.

It's still a hot, humid summer here, so I haven't had a chance to wear these boots. I was pleased by the fit, though. Sometimes a size 7 smashes my toes, and these have lots of room. I also like the heel height and diameter. Without looking clunky, they are stable and very comfortable. More than anything, I needed a waterproof boot for sloppy winter days. I'm hopeful that these will be perfect, while being just high enough to keep my pant legs dry!

I am pretty excited to break these out in the fall. The leather is very soft and supple, the design is hip, the color is just what it appears on my computer screen, the bed is pretty comfortable (the toe is rather narrow, which works fine for my feet), and the fit is true to size. I wear a 9.5-10 (usually a 9.5) and went with a 10, and it fits with medium-weight socks. I love this brand! I bought a pair of their tall waterproof boots last fall and wore them almost every day during a very long, wet, cold winter, and they still look beautiful. Looking forward to wearing this pair a lot.

These boots are darling! They also the first pair of knee high boots that fit my calves, the microfiber leg is comfortable and fitted but not tight. As usual, outstanding customer service from Zappos! Thank you!

These are comfy and fit well, although I think they are not stylish enough to wear other than as a rain boot. The synthetic fiber is kind of cheap looking, I wouldn\'t wear it with a dress skirt, etc. Back they go!

Ladies, the reviews do not lie, this is a great boot! I was a little nervous ordering my regular size after reading the reviews and the editorial about how they run small, but my regular size fit fine. These are so comfortable. My only complaint is that I wish they were a bit longer in the shaft. They hit a few inches below my knee so not high enough to wear with a skirt, but still cute with skinny jeans. If you have slim calves, this is a good boot.

Really like the sporty look of this boot and the fit is great. The heel height on the 9.5 is actually 2" vs. the 1 1/2" noted in the description. May make a difference when walking on snow or ice.

Loved the boot. It looks very elegant on and is comfortable. I was looking for a fashionable, but comfortable, boot for everyday wear. Note, however, it is a 2 3/4" heel vs. the 2" Zappos has it listed as. For those of us with foot problems, the 3/4" makes a huge difference. Will likely return the boot.

Beautiful, classy boot that is also waterproof and made in Canada! I usually wear a lower heel, but wanted a boot to wear with skirts and dresses. Very comfortable right out of the box and needs no break-in time.

I love La Canadienne but this shoe, unlike the boots I have, runs short. Sadly, it will be returned.

I love these boots! Very comfortable right from the start. I don't think the sole is too stiff, as one reviewer said, just sturdy and durable. Very soft suede outside, soft foam and excellent cushioning on the inside. Not bad arch support either. I usually have to wear arch support insoles, but may not with these (just got them yesterday, so will see). They should be great for Colorado winters. Look nice with jeans!
