These boots are a perfect fit. They are the warmest and most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I put them on with everything. They look great pulled up or rolled over. I like them best pulled up since I am 5\'11" tall. I wear them with skirts, skinny pants and ski pants. I never want to take them off and plan to get another pair in a different color. They are super soft if worn without socks and that is the best way to try them on for size as they do give a tad over time.

Wow.... a very classy and nice looking shoe. They are quite comfortable and support the foot more than I expected. The shoe runs true to size. At least they do on me. I take a B width, size 6 5. I can't wait until spring to be able to wear them. All I can say is thank you Zappos for being the VERY best when it comes to customer service and for offering so many products to choose from. I honestly don't think I've dealt with a better company than yours on line. You give more than 100% when it comes to satisfying your customers. I will always be a number one shopper with you !!!!!

This boot lived up to the reputation La Canadienne has for quality; the overall style is great, leather is nice, very comfortable right out of the box. The calf, however, was a bit large on me, and I don't have skinny legs. Would almost keep these, but for the price, I would like a sleeker fit, since I want boots to wear with skirts as well as under jeans. Going to return these and order a couple of other pairs from the same maker.

This is a nice looking rain boot and this is one of my favorite brands, it runs true to size and width. However, I ordered a size 9 and the calf circumference was close to 14" wide! On me these were way too baggy, not form fitting at all. Please La Canadienne, I’m begging you… make at least some styles of boots with a narrow calf and a 16" high shaft.

Love these boots. Nice low heel does not get caught in the ice humps around town. Nice fit, got a little larger size to wear socks. Wear an 8 1/2, the 9s fit great. Pricey, but well made to last.

After searching for a comfortable brown boot for awhile, I decided to try La Canadienne. There were lots of good reviews for the brand generally, so I tried Galaxy at first. It was a pretty boot, but the toe was too narrow. I was disappointed, but I knew my feet would not thank me if I tried to wear them. Janie sounded like it would work well for me, but was no longer available. I said please notify me if and when the style became available again - and it did! So, I ordered them. I had them for awhile before I actually wore them outside the house - I was just concerned that they would hurt my feet and wanted to be able to return them. Well, to wrap this up, I finally wore them and was very pleased that my feet did not hurt at all! I did use an insert, also. They are expensive, but they fit, are comfortable, and I expect them to last a good while!

I live in Minnesota which has long, cold winters. These boots keep my feet nice and toasty! The great thing about them is that not only are they warm, but they're 100% waterproof---which means my feet are warm and DRY!

This is another great boot from La Canadienne. I own two other pairs. I used these in very heavy snow and in very cold weather. (6 degrees F). They are very comfortable, and the great thing is you don’t need heavy socks. The shearling lining keeps you warm and cozy without feeling bulky. They are lightweight a very cool looking. I normally wear a size 7.5 and had to go up a half a size.

These boots are the most comfortable boots that I have ever owned. At work I am on my feet all day and I am able to wear these boots without any discomfort to my bunion.

These boots are fantastic. Very comfortable. Fit well. I wanted them for winter outdoor weather (great traction), but they are very nice for an indoor dress boot as well. Highly recommend.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I'm wearing them for the 2nd day in a row since I got them. I have a perfect 8.5-sized foot and I tend to have sensitive feet so I am picky about shoes, especially ones with heels. I put these on and they fit like a glove: not too tight, not too loose, but comfortably secure with tights or thin socks. The wedge is sturdy, and the toe bed has about a 1-inch platform so the heel only feels like a 1 1/2-inch. The shape is enough to flatteringly contour the natural curve of the foot and give some height without cramping my feet, and the thick platform also helps add cushioning. I added a pair of gel pads to the toe bed because I will always want lots of cushioning there but compared to other heel boots these were very comfortable out of the box. The sole also has good traction. After I left the house in these boots yesterday, we had freezing rain. My feet stayed warm and dry, and I could walk quickly without fear of slipping. I hadn't put any Scotch Guard on the suede but into the 2nd day of wearing them on rainy, salty pavement the suede still looks brand-new and feels very soft to the touch. They aren't kidding when they say these boots are waterproof! It's rare for me to find any pair of heels that I can walk quickly in, or sprint if I have to. I hope LC makes more of this style, and in more colors!

I love these boots! They run a little narrow, which is perfect for me, but if you have wide feet, they might feel tight. These are the boots I have been looking for for years, waterproof leather, sophisticated, yet casual look, and the sheepskin lining is warm and awesome! I bought a 2nd pair for my sister!

The boots are extremely comfortable. I have bunion problems and the toe shape works really well with this foot issue. I did find the medium just a little tight at first at my bunion point, but would not recommend going to a wide because once "broken in", they might be too big. I can wear them and walk for a long period of time. The cushioning is fantastic. They are warm. They withstand any weather beautifully. They can be worn with pants or a skirt. They are casual stylish; not fancy stylish. I have another pair of Canadienne suede and higher for that - also very comfortable. I highly recommend these boots!

I bought these boots to wear on cold days in Chicago when I want to look professional. The shape of my feet is very rectangular, so I especially like the shape of these boots which don’t pinch my toes at all. Also, since I have relatively big feet (size 9) for a short person (5’3”), I appreciate the fact that there’s still no big ridge around the sole that would look clunky. The boot fits just right around my calf (14-1/2"). I haven’t worn them on really snowy or slushy days. I don’t feel like they give a lot of arch support, but they are comfortable enough to walk in. My shoe size varies slightly between 9 and 9-1/2 depending on the shoe. This boot fits well in 9-1/2M.

I have been looking for comfortable rain boots to wear to work for years and these are great. They are not that warm (no lining, just the stretchy fabric on the leg), but I live in California so it’s perfect. I like that they have no zipper - very sleek looking and I had no problem getting them on. I have small ankles and average calves and they fit nicely with no bagging at the ankles. Unlike most boots of this type, these are feminine. I like the very slight platform heel and they are shaped nicely on the foot - they taper in to a squared off toe, much better than a round or blunt square toe in my opinion.

I love these shoes! I have a slightly wider foot than a medium width and these fit perfectly. They feel very balanced on the foot which makes it easy to walk. No break-in period needed for these shoes either. They worked so well that I bought a pair for my daughter. I hope La Canadienne uses this shoe style to create other fantastic shoes!

Oh, my, gosh. I cannot believe how comfortable these boots are! The leather is soft and luxurious. The style is simple, but sophisticated. The lining is soft like a dream. They go perfectly with work clothes or jeans. These are my second pair of La Canadienne boots I have bought, and I am totally in love with this brand. It is so wonderful they come in EE too, which fits my wide feet perfectly. If you are hesitating because of the price, don’t! They are totally worth every single penny. I guarantee you will feel like a million bucks the whole time you are in them.

These have been a very comfy boot. I love the construction, as it very high quality. The foot liner inside the boot keeps your feet very warm. I did purchase a half size bigger as I typically do that with boots. I wear this boot with a thin sock. If you plan to wear this with a thick sock, probably go up a full size from your normal shoe size. I would definitely buy this brand again. I think it's well worth it!

These boots are fabulous. I have two pairs myself and was so pleased that I bought a pair for each of my daughters for Christmas. We have all found them to be extremely comfortable and warm. These are the first boots that I can wear all day long without foot discomfort. They are great for walking and really are waterproof. They are worth the price!

These are nice, but not as nice as I'd expect at this price. The wool is warmer in Uggs, and they still will leak a bit in wet snow. Also, the wool on the bottom just flattened. It doesn\'t curl around your toes like the Uggs do.

I debated about these boots based on a few reviews. I finally bought them and love them! I have arthritis and these are perfect for still feeling cool while giving up (begrudgingly) the high heels. I love the crinkle patent. Also, I have narrow calves and they come mid-calf, so don’t get them if you have thick calves. I wore them to an event last week for about 5 hours. My feet didn’t hurt at all. Highly recommend with skirts and tights.

Gorgeous Boot! This boot has wonderful leather and great style. Unfortunately, I have very flat feet and the arch support didn't hit at the right place. And I am tall - 5'8" and the boot was not tall enough to hit right below my knee. I will definitely try this brand again.

I wear an 8-1/2, bought an 8-1/2 and they fit just fine. I wear them mostly over pants, and the top isn’t too tight for that. The style also works for me with dresses and skirts. I like the lining, and have worn them with and without socks. No problems with blisters or after walking around all day in them. Overall quite comfortable.
