Nice boots. Love that they are waterproof and insulated. Great for an NYC winter. Simple but stylish in design. Great to wear with skirts to work. Very comfortable.

Very warm--never once felt a chill in these, and I\'m sure they\'ll work all winter. Not yet tested in snow, but the lower part of the sole seems very durable. Rubber sole has a nice grip. Beautiful shearling lining. They\'re easy to slip on, but I do have smaller calves, so I wouldn\'t recommend this to someone with wider calves.

This is my first pair of La Canadienne boots, and unfortunately I think I am addicted! I have the gray Karas and they are both beautiful and comfortable. There was no break-in time at all, and each time I put them on I am surprised again at the comfort. I could honestly wear these all day every day. I have thin calves and they are not too wide, even though there is a bit of extra room. I can fit them easily under most boot cut jeans. The gray color is quite attractive and a perfect alternative to black or brown. My only small hesitation is that the black soles sometimes leave scuff marks on the side of the boots, but I may just not walk gracefully and rub my feet together. These are well worth the price in comfort and appearance.

These are my first pair of La Canadienne. I had to get past the price tag of these babies, but these boots are hot! I bought the red which will definitely be sexy with a leggings/skirt combo and very stylish with jeans/pants. Not only are they great looking, but they already seem comfortable. Please order a size up. I have been a dependable size 7.5 for 20 years, and this is the first time I've needed a size 8 (I thought they had mistakenly sent a size 7). But the patent leather is to die for and the footbed is cushy. There are no pressure points yet on my toes (I have problem feet that often blister). The boot is cut very snugly: my calves are not teeny and they zip right up to my skin. I'm hoping it stretches a bit: I'll leave the zipper open an inch for the first few times I wear them.

Very good looking and very warm boots. I usually wear a 9M for La Canadienne, but only 9 wide was in stock. So that's what I got; my feet tend to be on the verge of med and wide. But even with 9W, these make my feet look small! The shearling is ultra soft and plush; you feel like your foot is covered in a blanket. You definitely do not need thick socks with this pair! I did put in an insole for extra support; this pair, like most Canadienne boots, doesn't have much arch support or cushioning. I also needed to fill some of the extra space since it was a wide pair. Wore it out in nasty rainy 30 something degree weather today, and my feet stayed ultra cozy, warm and dry. The shoe design is very clever and comfy; you don't even feel the heel. I got it in brown. This pair is nice enough to be worn with my dressiest business suits for very formal corporate meetings, but can also go with jeans. I have several pairs of La Canadienne boots and this one is definitely one of my favorites.

I bought a pair of these boots several years ago and have completely worn them out. I was thrilled to see that Zappos offered them and in two colors! They are dressy enough to wear out at night with slacks and comfy enough to wear to the grocery store. They fit beautifully, though I had to go down a half size. They're warm and go through snow and slush like a dream. The low heel is perfect for my bad back. I have a terrible time getting shoes or boots to fit because my feet are narrow, but these are great.

These boots are beyond gorgeous! I had an inkling that they'd be great, and when I received them in the mail I was surprised at just how great they are. They are obviously well made; I was choosing between these and a pair of Gee WaWas and these win hands down. Sizing is never consistent for me; I'm somewhere between an 8 and an 8.5, I bought an 8 and they are fine even with thick tights or medium weight (not heavy cotton or wool) socks. I'm almost hesitant to wear them out of the house because I don't want to mess them up, they are that beautiful. Totally overpriced. Low heel, easy to walk and ride my bike. Hopefully they last me longer than my Miz Mooz's that I bought last winter and have already taken to the shoe repair shop twice.

Love this boot. Wore them right out of the box, like most La Canadienne boots, with no break in time. I have several pairs of La Canadienne boots, and I must say, even my oldest boots (10 years old), still look great and I wear them all the time!

Love these shoes. Bought them just before a weekend in San Francisco. Literally walked miles, up hills and on concrete and even in the rain, and these shoes never let me down. The real sherpa makes them very cushy, and they are stylish. I wear them with both a short black skirt and tights or with jeans, and they looked just fine either way. Oh yes, they really are waterproof! Not cheap, but worth every penny. I know these will be my "go to" shoes for a long time.

These are just as comfortable as everyone says! I wore them for an entire day out of the box and was shocked. Didn\\\'t need any time to break them in. Plus I can wear them on my one-mile walk to the metro, all day and then walk home. Yay! I\\\'m usually a 8.5 but sometimes take a 8 in boots. 8.5 was perfect for these.

This is the comfiest boot, very snug and toasty! Easy on, easy off, don\'t even need to untie the laces and it goes easily over slim pants leg. The heel height is relaxed and comfortable. Bought my usual 7.5 and it fits perfectly. Very happy with my purchase.

I love these boots. They are very comfortable, yet stylish. I have a friend who wants a pair, but it looks like Zappos is just about out of them. Absolutely love Zappos service. I don't know how they get my order to me so fast!

Great for athletic calves. I love these boots. After trying various leather zip-up boots with my 15.5 inch calves, and not achieving the look I wanted, I tried the stretch style boots. Love these. They are fitted and flattering and exactly what I was looking for in a boot, and comfortable to boot!

Love them. Classy and waterproof. They did not have my size so I bought the double wide and fit fine. I may need to wear a pair of socks with them rather than tights but it is worth it to have them.

I love these boots. I walk a lot; they are comfortable. Just order this boot half size larger. This brand I have purchased 3 different pairs; they are expensive, but worth it. I need a wide width usually, but this brand works fine in standard width M.

These are not the boots I'd want to wear tromping through the city. Their comfort is acceptable, but compared to my Cole Haan boots with Nike Air soles, they fail miserably. Nonetheless their calf hugging perfection and vintage inspired exterior zippers more than make up for any complaints in the comfort department.

Terrific boots. Got them in black and just ordered them in brown. I have small calves and these are fitting a lot better than any I\'ve tried (with the exception of the Ivana style - great for smaller calves, too). True to size. Shorter toe box (Ivana style has a little longer one). Love the boots!

Got these in suede after trying many styles. These boots are great. I have smaller calves and these and the Galaxy style fit the best. I'm checking daily in order to order them in the black leather also. Currently, they're out of my size. Finally, I did not find these boots to be running small. I always wear a 7 and the 7 fits great.

I love these boots! I have very skinny legs/calves and have been searching for a good pair of boots for two years. These are definitely not form-fitting on my legs and there is still some gap between the boots and my calves. But they are still flattering and look good with tights and with jeans tucked into them. The heel is a great height, dressy, yet still very comfortable. I did have to send them back and get a 1/2 size larger, so be sure to order accordingly!

Theses shoes are very comfortable, but at the same time they're rather heavy and clunky. The square toe with wedge did not work out.

Great boot. Have needed to change my boot wardrobe from skinnny and pointy to more more sensible boots due to a neuroma. I didn\'t want to go to ugly boots and these are a great in-between. They are still nice looking and yet are comfortable to wear for long periods.

I have Raynaud's syndrome and need a warm boot with plenty of toe room. Sometimes I have to put Grabber hand warmers in the toes of my shoes to keep circulation going. These boots do the trick plus they are really cute! I get lots of compliments. Wear them with jeans. Wear them with business suits. Expensive, but for me well worth it.

Love these boots. If you have big feet (9 1/2) and a narrow calf, these are for you. They fit my ankle and calf snugly and are extremely comfortable. I purchased a full size smaller and they fit beautifully. They are waterproof, sexy and comfortable. What else could a girl want?
