Kumfs Reviews
Extremely comfy for the most problematic feet but it felt a bit too wide for my narrow feet. Not sure if I like the style or if it's old lady-ish.
Wow! Orthotics fit but not needed! I am impressed! I wear an 11.5 M shoe and have plantar fasciitis and these shoes are amazing! Wow! Zappos you rule!
I've never found a shoe where the arch was too high. We in this shoe it is! It actually digs into my arch as I walk. The shoe also squeeks as I step. It is a nice looking shoe that can be adjusted.
I absolutely love these shoes. My foot is 4.00 x 4.25. extremely short and wide so it is really difficult to find pretty shoes. Thank you Zappos and thank you Kumfs!
This shoe is both comfortable and stylish. However, when I put my orthotics in, they were squeaky when I took a step. This will drive me crazy, so I am reluctantly returning them. Bummer.
So comfortable! I can even wear it without my orthotics since the innersole is so supportive for my high arch. The wide was plenty roomy. Too bad I found this great shoe just as it looks like the style is being discontinued!
I still have my Kumfs which I bought in NZ 8 years ago...and I have worn them out, finally. Looking forward to investing in my next pair!
These shoes are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I had foot surgery and haven't been able to find a supportive shoe until now. Super supportive arch. I don't need my inserts with these shoes. I can't wait to get them in black.
The footbed of this shoe is very comfortable as is the height of the heel. It is actually more attractive than it looks. The straps are adjustable, but not enough to accommodate my high arch. The upper strap rubbed the top of my foot so I returned them.
These shoes are super comfortable! I do have almost flat feet and need arch support. My feet are also between normal and wide in width (not quite normal and not quite wide). I'm not a "heel wearer" at all but had no trouble wearing these. Both the brown leather and red suede are cute. Haven't worn them out yet but will update my review if they hurt when I do.
Extraordinary! These shoes feel better than any other pair I have ever worn. The arch support is amazing. It feels better than barefoot. I can stand for many, many hours in these shoes and my feet still feel as good as they did first thing in the morning. Now: Kumfs (are you listening?) Please make these in something besides black! I bought these for choir, but other than that, I never wear black, and I'm telling the truth that being able to get these in brown (any brown!) or navy would make my life a whole lot easier.
This shoe feels even better than wearing similar shoes with my custom made orthotics! Great fit and support - my poor feet will be forever thankful for these shoes. I want to get a pair in each color and an extra pair in black for when the ones that I have wear out!
These shoes are adorable, looked beautiful on my narrow feet (true A width) and have great arch support, but the ankle strap was so uncomfortable, so I had to return them. The strap is angled so that the upper side of the strap cut into my ankle and the lower side of the strap didn't touch my skin. I have never seen this in an ankle strap. FYI, the the velcros fasteners fit as if they are sized for an A width, ie, they fit my foot without any excess overlap (very unusual for a B width). I was so disappointed about the ankle strap because I loved the look of these shoes.
These are the coolest shoes my 80 year old mother has worn for a long time. Maybe even her whole life! But they also gave her the stability she needed along with room for her custom inserts.
Good heel cushioning and arch support. Good for over-pronators. I measure a 7.5 W and ordered these in an 8WW and they are comfortable everywhere except my big toe on both sides. It feels like it is pushing my big toes in toward my 2nd toe. Unfortunately these are going back. You can pull the insole out to put in orthotics as well.
I consider these shoes to be the perfect combo of class and comfort. Got compliments...was able to wear them while actively working a 3-hour event...and loved the way they felt and looked. And this is from someone who has a major bunion and hammertoes (but still need to look professional). The total adjustability is a plus for many; a necessity for me. When the Birkenstocks just won't do it, these fit the bill as well as the foot. The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars for style is because I'm still nostalgic for the stilettos of my youth.
These are really comfortable right out of the box. I wear a 7 and got the 37. Bronze color goes with everything.
Very cute shoe. At first, I thought it would be very comfortable because of the relatively low heel and the adjustable piece over the toe area. The leather piece in the toe area has some stiff edges that rub into the foot making the shoe very uncomfortable to stand in for any amount of time. Overall, felt like one of those annoying pairs of shoes that you can't wait to get home and take off.
A great shoe, the perfect stye, and with that wonderful Kumfs support, but sadly these shoes were much too narrow even in the extra wide size, so they are being returned. I have never had this problem with Kumfs before, hope they are not changing their sizing.
