Keen Kids

First of all, Zappos is amazing. Their speedy shipment and great customer service can't be beat. Love this shoe, because it keeps my son's feet warm, without being bulky. He wears these every day to school and has never complained that they hurt his feet, so I would recommend buying these. I would order up a size, since they seemed to run a little small.

Not thrilled with the velcro strap, last year's version with the zipper was easier to get on and off. Also they were more comfortable according to my son. These are fine but I won't buy them next year unless they change the style back.

Solid little shoe. My daughter has a narrow foot especially in the heel and these shoes cinched right up. She is a girlie girl and wears them for her kindergarten hike days, and for family hikes. Love these sturdy shoes.

These boots are really cute and seem like they would be comfy. I am a womans size 5.5 and ordered a size 4. They are too big so I am going to try a size 3. I usually wear a 3 in kids uggs.

We bought these mid-summer for our 4 1/2 year old and they are great! We live in FL so he wears them all the time and I love the fact they don't get stinky. I also like that he can wear these to Pre-K since they have an enclosed toe.

Fantastic shoe/boot. These are the go to winter footwear for my 8 year old son. He likes them, they're comfortable, warm, they look cool and it's all good.

Love these shoes. Both my boys ages 9 and 7 have these in different colors. I love that they don't have the typical big cumbersome looking toe and sole like other Keens! Past Keens I have gotten my boys also have a wider foot bed - the Alamosa did not, which is perfect for my boys' feet. They have held up great so far! Great shoe for my very active boys!

Love them! Great for those wintry cold wet days when you don't want to put on bulky snow boots. And I think they are so cute too...very stylish two year old in our home!

Cozy, warm, and cute. Rugged and much better for actual walking than Uggs. Because everyone warned they run small I had to return two pairs that were like boats on my 4yo. I ended up with the size I should've got to begin with.

My 8 year old son loves them. They look "grown up" and are warm and comfy. They're a great alternative to heavy winter boots.

We have ordered these shoes two years in a row for our son and will be ordering a third year -- he will be four this year. He has wide feet and these work great. He wears Stride Rite sneaks in the Winter and these Keens in the Summer. Order a size up, though, as they tend to run small. The first Summer he wore them they got so stinky (and wouldn't come clean no matter what I tried) I almost didn't order them again. Then I decided to get them anyway and just try to have him wear his thinnest Smartwool socks in them at all times -- worked like a charm, no stink, feet stayed cool and comfortable. If your kid has sweaty/stinky feet, try the Smartwool socks trick.

Zappos man, you guy are pretty freaking awesome. What more can I say? Purchased these yesterday for my little brother - got them today. I mean, who does that? Only you guys. As far as the kicks, he went postal for them - loves them, I love them, love the color and everything.

These shoes really look sharp. But if your kids puts on their own shoes, beware. The shoe is very hard for a kid to put on without having the tongue bunch up at the bottom. They impede independence for a little kid trying to do it themselves.

Yes, you can avoid the stink: use "wet suit" cleaner! As everyone here says, these would be the perfect kids' shoes, except for the stink. But I discovered the solution last summer: wet suit wash. It's the neoprene that causes the smell, so if you scrub them in the sink with a product intended for washing neoprene wet suits, it takes the stink out and keeps it from coming back so quickly. I only had to use it a couple times last summer, and my daughter wore them every day to camp. In between, I just threw them in the washer to get rid of the everyday dirt.

These ran a bit small so order up if you're not sure. My son has destroyed his last 2 pairs of shoes. Not these. Love Keen Kids, they're tough. They're the only brand that has been handed down through all 3 kids. The boots keep him warm and dry. Well, at least his feet.

I needed something my daughter could wear to school that would also work for P.E. and this does the trick. Very comfy and rugged and a little dressier than gym shoes.

These shoes rubbed multiple blisters on my son's feet. Also, the toggle broke almost immediately. Poor quality, very disappointed in these.

My son loves these. Easy to get on, no laces to tie. Expensive for a kids shoe but worth it.
