Keen

I'm a retired lady and walk every day so I wanted something sturdy, functional, comfortable and the fact that their are quite good looking is a bonus. A bit pricey for my budget but well worth it as I expect them to last me a few years.

I love these flip flops! The arch support is just right and the bottoms are light and they are very comfortable to walk in. I went with the orange and love the color! I normally wear an 8 but had to go down a 1/2 size in these - the 7.5s are a perfect fit!

I felt like I was wearing shoes made of rubber! They were definitely not supportive on the outside, they were bendable/twistable like a pair of cheap rubber shoes! Not something you'd expect a pair of pricey shoes to be like. Definitely returning them. And the material top at the ankles and sides of the foot were coarse/stiff. They would rub your skin raw after trying to walk any length. Keen...you dropped the ball on this one!

I just received a pair of these and like them very much, but think the design could be improved by adding a bit more cushioning in the footbed. These shoes do not have a removable insole - what's there is part of the overall design - and I'm planning to get an insole to add. Am getting older and comfort is paramount, so...a bit more support and these would be near-perfect. (Keen designers, I hope you're reading this!)

I like these shoes and you will too if you like a zero drop (such as barefoot shoes have.) Be warned, though, they are not as wide as regular Keens, especially in the ball of the foot. I have a wide foot and high instep and I can feel the difference. They are snug on my foot--not tight--but my foot is not going to move in them. I also think they run 1/2 size short. I normally wear an 8.5 and ordered a 9. Very glad I did as my toe is close to the end of the shoe and my regular size would have been too short. I knew that Zappos would allow me to return these if they were not right which is why I love Zappos so much!

I recently bought these in green in hopes of comforting my feet. I recently have been killing my feet or constantly getting blisters from new shoes. My feet have yet to hurt or get blisters since I have pulled these out of the box. I am in love and will most likely be purchasing these in every other color! My feet always hurt if I have been on them too long especially cooking, I have been wearing these in the kitchen and I don't feel as if I have to sit down as often due to my feet throbbing. Absolutely love these shoes. I am sold on Keen now! I was also unsure about how cute these would look but they match a lot!

Wow no break in period needed. These fit me straight out of the box, with no break in period needed. They are so light I don't even notice they are on my feet. I am thrilled with these sandals. I wear a 10 in most all shoe brands, so I began by ordering a 10 in Keen. Perfect fit! Of course I had to adjust the strap because one was a little loose, and once I did that, it is perfect. Matter of fact, my toes don't even touch the tip of the shoe at all. This is just wonderful. I am sold on Zappos and Keen!

I love the look and general feel of these. However, I went through three pairs in 3 different sizes and they were never quite right. My heel kept shifting backward and hanging off the end of the shoe (even after going up in size multiple times). I don't know if it is because these fit a narrow foot better than a medium foot, or maybe it is related to my arch. I don't have this issue with the keen newport h2's. I noticed a possible reason as the ankle strap is way different. On the whisper, it doesn't have the reinforced thick material attached all around, so the heel is able to stretch and stretch and stretch. The newports keep my feet put where they are supposed to be in the shoe. Wish this style worked for me, but ill stick with what works.

Perfect Flip Flop! I have multiple pairs of these. For shoes it is just about all I wear all summer. There is great arch support (regular shoes I have to wear an orthotic) and obviously toe protection. These are very comfy and versatile. Perfect if you live and active lifestyle. Keen made these in great colors this year! I get compliments all the time and get asked where I bought them. Buy them! You won't regret it!

This is my third pair of Keen Newports. Each pair has served me well. I've used them in wet environments, as well as dry. I also used them on many cobblestone European streets while stationed in Germany. I order a half size larger than my regular shoes. Fantastic footwear. Highly recommend!

I did a fair amount of searching for a low hiking boot and came across these. No breaking in needed. Hiked extensively in Southwest hills. Feet were comfortable, no rubbing. Toe box is wide, heel was snug, no slipping on downhill, I love these shoes. I think they look good too. I could not be happier. Thank you Keen.

These were going to be my "dress shoes" on a 3 week trip to Greece and Turkey last year. I wore them every day and night! They were comfortable stylish and secure. The "moderate support" was plenty enough for my high arches. And I'm a 5.5 wide ball narrow heel. They just fit like a glove out of the box. Yay Keen!

I was looking for cute / comfortable shoes to take on my honeymoon in Rome. I broke them in a little bit around the house before I left and they were great! We walked at least 5 miles every day we were there and my feet never bothered me. These are true to size as I wear/ordered a 5.5. I would definitely recommend these shoes

I wanted to try a pair of Keens as I have friends that swear by them. However, these shoes make my feet look enormous. Apparently this extra-wide toe box it a part of the comfort, and they were super-comfortable. But I was looking for a cute/ casual that was also comfortable, and I just didn't like the way these looked with khakis or capris. I will be returning them.

Wearing them now. I wear them daily for about 2 months now. I am a tradesman, so I am on my feet all day climbing, crawling, etc. The toe cap is a must have on any shoe I wear. These shoes are comfortable AFTER a break-in period, but I almost returned them after one wear. There is zero padding to the tongue or heal back, so they dug in a little at first. Now that they are broken in, it's not an issue. I've been wearing minimal shoes for a few years now, so I am used to the lack of sole, support, etc. These have a nice sturdy sole, just no padding. So it's barefoot enough but still smooths out some of the irregularities of the street. For those new to minimal shoes/barefoot style, you will experience soreness in legs, ankles, calves, etc, but as you get stronger and wear them more it isn't an issue.

Love these! The usual comfort, versatility and style you get from Keen. They are lightweight but have a sole which can handle rough terrain. The mesh outer keeps your feet nice and cool in warmer temps. And I love that the toggle closure will never come untied like a conventional lace. True to size, great color too. What more could you ask for?

Incredibly comfortable hot weather shoe. I use Smart Feet insoles in these and love the combination. The insoles that came with the Keens are very flat. At first I thought the shoe was going to be tight, but a week later and the mesh has formed to my forefoot and is not tight at all.

This is the second pair of Keen Whisper that I have purchased. I got the first pair two years ago and they are wearing well...still look and feel great! Love Zappos!

Love these shoes. So not a typical Keen in weight, but they are awesome traveling shoes. Wore them for the first time on a weekend getaway -- walking many miles per day. Great at the airport (easy on and easy off), and very comfy. May need a little arch boost for my flat feet, but have been fine so far.

I've owned close to a dozen pairs of Keen in the last 10 plus years and was expecting the same Keen fit and finish. What a disappointment. These shoes are to say the least, tacky. Absolutely no support, leather is thin and flimsy and the sole is almost nonexistent. One could step on a dime and tell if it was heads or tails. Needless to say they were returned. I think they are very leisure looking, but the comfort is not there. Too bad. Zappos as always was spot on in every way.
