Keen Targhee II Mid

Overall:

I recently purchased three styles of Keen boots Newport low cut as well as Summit County and Targhee II. I have a wide foot and all fit very well. Also hike our town ski area every day (2000 vertical over 2.5 miles ) in the Targhees and so far after 4 weeks am very pleased. No blisters or sore feet. I will very likely purchase more in the future.

This shoe is a bit short. I would agree with quite a few reviewers here. I should have taken the advice that it runs short and doesn't have the "Keen" feel. I was hoping they were wrong. I don't generally find that shoes reviewed as small are small, but these are small. My toe nails would catch on the seam (and I keep them trimmed very short). I didn't find any difficulty with width, although I could tell that it would rub uncomfortably across toe bridge, but is that because it is short? Who knows? It is a cute shoe, but a no go for comfort. I would continue to recommend Keen, but not this style.

So cute! I couldn\'t find purple boots that had flair anywhere else! And they are very comfortable. Thank you Zappos for carrying the hard to find! Any creative person would love these boots!

These are my new favorite weekend shoes. Great for walking around town in the rain, and even better for light hiking. I\'ve walked through deep puddles and my feet have been completely dry at the end of the day. Like my other Keens, these fit my wide feet well, especially in the toe. As with my other Keens, I ordered 1/2 size up and they fit well. I would definitely recommend these.

They feel great, but don't last - As others have said, these shoes are very comfortable, but within a few months, on two pairs, the rubber toe separates from the shoe. Unfortunately, that means I need to find something similar that can stand up to around-the-house walking.

These shoes are great! I love the color (cigar) and the fit is perfect for Fall/Winter. I am able to wear a nice pair of comfy, warm socks with them. They go with a few different pairs of my jeans and I wear them basically every day.

I have never reviewed a product before online, but I am going to this time. I really love these shoes! I am so thrilled to have bought these, along with two Keen winter shoes that are similar for my small children. Everything fits very well! The return policy made me feel comfortable winging it, and we all tried new sizes (I think Keen may run on the smallish size; our slightly larger choices work great for us). Didn\'t have to return anything. \r\nI am a repeat customer, purchased shoes once before years ago, and I would consider doing it again when I make another shoe purchase.\r\n\r\n

Overall:

Bulbous, frumpy shoe - If looks didn't matter, I'd keep them. They are comfortable. However, they are not flattering. I asked a friend's opinion and she didn't find them very pretty either. Makes feet look fat.

I should have paid more attention to the concerns of other reviewers. Although these shoes are awesomely comfortable and warm, with or without socks, the material they are made from sheds and pills. Not too attractive after wearing them for only a week. However, for comfort sake, they are good for kicking around the house.

Super cute shoe, I got it in Rust and think it is a perfect color for fall. The shoe has a very wide toe bed, and I wish there was more cushioning, but style wise, they are exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Zappos, for amazing shipping and customer service!

Very warm and comfortable. Great to slip on for walking to the school bus on cold mornings. I normally wear an 8 1/2 but needed a 9 for both pairs of Keen clogs I bought.

Overall:

I got these boots to replace some beige Uggs for around the house and for ski trips. They are super warm and comfy and look much cooler with jeans or apre-ski wear. A little wide and larger than they have to be but for snow they\'re great and you can fit a thick sock underneath.

I usually love Keen shoes and felt confident enough about the fit to order online. The ad stated that they ran big. They do. That would be ok, but the strap does not hold and I\'m flopping around in them and have to adjust them dozens of times a day. I am going to get some peel and stick velcro to try to keep them tight and secure. Sorry, I don\'t recommend them.

I love this shoe. Outside of a problem I have on one foot these shoes are easy to wear, good looking and just plain cool! At first I bought a size 10 but the problem on my right foot felt uncomfortable. So I ordered the next size up. If they came in a wider width that would have solved my problem but they don\'t have wider widths. So I thought I\'d wear them on carpeting first in case I couldn\'t handle "my problem". They were fine. So I kept them and adore them. I am a shoe fanatic. And who better to purchase shoes from then Zappo\'s? They\'re awesome customer service, fast shipping and no problem kind of attitude will always keep me coming back. And believe me I do! Just bought shoes for my husband and granddaughter too. Love you Zappos\'s. Rest assured you will be thrilled with this shoe.

I am rather disappointed with these shoes. Previous Keen sandals have been very comfortable. These are too narrow and pinch my toes very badly. Despite the neoprene liner, the canvas chafes and gives me blisters.

I recently bought the Erin by Keen. Great shoes, they fit well and go with everything! I am loving the ease and comfort of these shoes. Ever since I found Zappos I shop there as often as I can. I have never been disappointed! The speedy delivery is awesome, often next day! They always get the the order right and the price is as good or better than anywhere you can go! I was looking for a sneaker that would be both comfortable and durable; Keen Coronado Suede is the one. Most sneakers do not fit me properly, but Keen is a perfect fit. I am extremely pleased with the sneakers and plan on purchasing another pair real soon! Keep up the great work!

I received them on Monday. Returned them on Wednesday. I'm 5.5-6 and I like my feet to look dainty. I felt like Daffy Duck. I ordered it in Bison. The color is a lot lighter than expected. Want to try the North Face Payton Boot. Zappos has great customer service, so I'll try again.

Love these shoes for their comfort and durability. Great to wear to the soccer field early in the morning to watch my son and daughter play without wet feet. Love the light blue stitching too.

This shoe is immediately comfortable and seems to have moderately good arch support (I have high arches). Though I did not choose it, I did choose the Keens Austen; both a half size larger to fit. I find all the Keens well made, and many styles to choose from.

Just got back from three weeks in Namibia, in preparation for which I ordered the Keen Venice H2. This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I needed a sandal with a covered toe, and this filled the bill perfectly for walking around in a hot desert country. I'll probably order more of these in the future. The size was true to what I usually wear.

I ordered an 8 (my regular size) and an 8.5 and ended up keeping the larger size. Both pairs had a tendency to rub the back of my right heel, but after wearing the pair I kept about 3 times (with a piece of moleskin) it no longer rubs my heel at all. Outside of that, these were a "wear and go" type of boot with no other blistering or rubbing. I was looking for a hiking boot that offered very good arch support, good tread for slippery surfaces and good control to prevent turning my ankles when on rocky ground and this shoe performs very well in all cases. Excellent weight for temps ranging from mildly cold to hot and humid. I tried one of the Timberland boots in a similar price range, but it didn't have the same support and cushion as the Keen. It felt more like I was buying a name and not a quality boot with the Timberland unfortunately. I would recommend the Keen to anyone!

The shoes are great - I\'ve had many compliments on them. Very pretty color. Although I wear AA width, I\'m able to lace them tight enough that they fit. I did add a Dr. Scholl\'s gel insert for a little more support. Will be purchasing another color in the near future.

These are the second pair of Keens I've ordered. Both feel pretty close to advertised size, erring on the slightly larger side. The toe-box is nicely wide and doesn't compress the toes at all. Arch support is very comfortable, and the inserts are removable if you don't like them. The break-in period is short, and they're fairly comfortable while they're being broken in. I have some chronic foot pain due to some old injuries and got the Keens because of the toe box and recommendations about the general comfortableness of the brand, and so far they've completely lived up to their reputation.
