In 1916, Keds created the original sneaker -- or as they like to say, the first ever “feel-like-everyday's-a-Saturday” shoe. But that was a bit of a mouthful... so instead they called it the Champion.
With silent rubber soles (superb for sneaking up!), and a featherweight feel, the Champion more than lived up to its playfully confident name.
On legends and icons, it danced through the decades to become a true-blue American go-to.

Was disappointed that the top cross strap did not have any give. Cute shoe, but too tight across the top and not enough arch support. I am returning these!!
Bummer. I really wanted these Keds to work because they are so cute. The sizing is way off. I exchanged them for a smaller pair, they still don't fit correctly. Zappos customer service as always gets an A+. Shoes get a bummer.
These shoes were much larger than I expected. I think I would have to order a full size down if I got them again. I got the D width, which seemed about right for my foot. Other than the weird sizing, they were as I expected.
I bought these shoes for my upcoming trip to NYC. We'll be doing a lot of walking and I want to be comfortable but not look like a frumpy tourist. I think they'll do well. They run short and narrow, so I ordered a second pair in a half-size larger and they fit well. I'm returning the first pair. They have no arch support, so I'll be adding my own orthotic.
Such an easy way to shop and get best results. I never thought I would purchase footwear on line but was completely satisfied.
I normally buy a pair of Keds every summer. This pair runs small and fits poorly. I took them on vacation right out of the box thinking it would be like every other pair of Keds I have ever bought. Wrong. Ended up wearing the back up pair everyday. Ladies that's a bummer. Hopefully I can find someone to give them to.
I ordered these to take on a trip where I would be doing a lot of walking but still wanted something stylish. They are adorable shoes and the ankle tie is removable. Unfortunately, I will have to send them back. They definitely run small, as in an entire size smaller. They were very tight on the top of the shoe and felt quite narrow as well. I think if they had fit, they would have been a comfortable shoe for moderate walking distances.
I have always loved Keds sneakers, when they still had the terry cloth interior. The inside is now the same canvas as the exterior, and must be coated with something I am allergic to! The first day out in these shoes, I got caught in the rain and the tops of my feet (not covered by the footie socks I was wearing) completely broke out in a rash that lasted almost three weeks! Otherwise these shoes are great. Just wear them with full socks if your skin is even the least bit sensitive.
These are cute but I had to send them back, as they were too big! I was replacing a previous pair of twill Keds, so I thought they would run the same, but I will have to get a size smaller. The footbed was not nearly as cushy as in my older ones.
I bought these shoes for my mother who does a lot of walking. She loves the shoes and they have become her primary walking shoes for the time being. I guess when they wear out I will have to buy another pair for her.
The toebox is too narrow so these shoes hurt my feet. They do look nice, I just cannot walk in them too far.
I liked this website very much. The wedding invitation packet arrived very quickly and well packed, therefore in excellent condition. The invitations ordered were gorgeous! It was also very helpful to order samples before choosing one. We also ordered wedding shower invites and save the dates. Order here; you should not be disappointed!
I have wide feet so I was so excited to know that these pairs of Keds come in wide. Strangely, nothing seems to fit me. I wear 8.5 so when 8.5 in the standard size was too tight, I tried the 8.5 in wide but that was too big and so was the 8. I'm so sad because I've waited for a long time for these shoes to get back in stock.
These are good shoes. I love Keds. It is great to find lots of narrow choices at such affordable prices. Zappos provided great customer service and smooth process for ordering and quick delivery!
I am usually size 5.5, sometimes 6. My feet are narrow. I tried both 5 and 5.5 in this one. 5 is a perfect fit for me. So I think this style is long and narrow. The shoe is very comfortable and requires no break time. I wore it to in the first time for 7-8 hours! If it has other colors, I will buy again!
These are super cute, and the width is right (I have fat feet). Unfortunately, my heel keeps slipping out of the back so I must return them.
Cute and comfy. I'm usually a 9, but wide, so I decided on the 9.5 and it worked great. The elastic on the top rubs a little when I first wore them, but it is better with wear. Love the bright colours.
Fits nice & snug throughout my foot. I am especially happy with the fit in the heel - I have very narrow heels & most shoes, even 2A, have a heel area that needs padding to fit properly. A little bit of a rub where the elastic inserts join the leather.
