Karen Kane Reviews
Wow, this runs really small. I am 5'6", weigh 115 and always wear XS in Karen Kane. This was like a second skin. I will have to go up to a S. It is a really nice fabric, though and flattering if you are in shape.
I took a chance on a maxi as I am only 5'4" and this was perfect. It is not long at all so will be easy to walk in without tripping on fabric. I bought a medium. Lovely fabric and my favorite neckline to show off arms.
I loved the high v-neck and longer-than-cap sleeves. Looks great, nice and comfy. I love this style of faux wrap. -1 star for comfort because the polyester material had good weight to it and seemed like it could be very hot in the summer.
Cute jersey material (for some reason expected it to be more rayon-mix). Nice flare perfect for casual wear.
The dress pictured has the wrong name and style number. Three times I tried to order the magenta dress pictured, and 3 times I received a dress with a photo on it, with a blue green border on the bottom. That dress, the Photoreal dress, is not pictured on this page. I talked to someone in customer service who was very pleasant and tried to help, but even with his assistance, the same wrong dress was sent a third time. So back it goes.
Nice fabric, nice color, but the draping in front made me look about 6 months pregnant. This one had to go back.

I wore this dress for the first time last night and received so many compliments. Two different women at the restaurant stopped and asked me where I bought it. My husband loved, loved, loved the way it looked on me. My friends that we were out with also thought the dress was beautiful and perfect for a Friday night out. The fabric is very soft and fits really well. I live in Florida so this can be worn year round. Love this dress. Beautiful print!
I wanted to like this dress and it's actually made in USA! But, the material is kind of cheap looking to me, almost like tee-shirt material. For the money, I just thought it was cheap looking. For a third of the price, maybe.
The dress is nice but just nice; it sits well, comfy fabric, not as bright colors as I see in the picture; paler blue; I keep it because it shapes well and is not hot and itchy as polyester dresses; this one is rayon or cotton; I wouldn't pay a lot of dollars for it though; I guess we pay for the name and express shipping both ways (around 40-50); the dress' true value is in the 60s at most; I wish I bought it cheaper elsewhere; but I need a dress right now and this seems to be it; will still consider returning it for high price; alas.
The reason for the there stars is that the shirt runs very big. I should have downsized. I can wear it over leggings - but nothing else, really. Other than this, fabulous material and great style. If I run across this brand again, I will know to downsize.

I've never owned Karen Kane prior to buying this dress. The dress is just like it looks in the picture, very cute. For a 50 something, I like the length (to the knee), sleeves and I'm not pouring out of the top. The dress is not lined so you'll want to wear shape wear or something underneath it. I'm normally a size 12 and the large fit fine. Someone told me this brand runs large; I found it runs true to size.
This blouse is very cute with a v-neck in the front and in the back. The bodice is fitted and then flairs out into the ruffle at the bottom. There is a zipper in the back that zips up like a dress. In many ways, it is like a the top part of a dress. It fit true to size, it was comfortable, and the fabric is sturdy and lined. The only issue (and my reason for returning it) is that the fitted bodice needs to be 4 to 5 inches longer before the ruffle. The fitted bodice stopped at my middle rib cage, just beneath my bust, instead of continuing down to my waist. I am 5'9". If you are petite or if you have a short torso, this top can work well.
This is a great maxi. The pattern is visually lengthening and slimming. The colors are black and white with turquoise and orange.
This dress is super flattering for me because I have a large waist. The 3/4 sleeves and the v-neck are also flattering. The material is like butter! I can wear it year-round because the material is like wool crepe, but synthetic. Given this material, I thought it would travel well, but I had to get it pressed after I unpacked. I have worn it to a wedding and to a bridal shower and to a casual dinner. I have dressed it up and down. The price was right, too. Very pleased with my purchase.
This dress was cute but the material was a little cheap. Seemed like it would easily wrinkle and get pills after time. I liked it on (I'm 5' 2", 130 lbs.), but didn't think it was worth the price so returned it.
