Before 2001 there was a Joie shaped hole in the fashion world that only Serge Azria, owner and creative director of Joie, could fill. The idea of providing the modern, fashion savvy customer with a global wardrobe rather than focusing on a single item such as denim or graphic tees proved successful. Joie still holds true to its original concept of “casual, comfortable, and luxurious,” and is best known today for its feminine tops, dresses, and cashmere sweaters. Joie encompasses a balance of these three key elements in each piece that is designed and says one cannot exist without the other.
The woman who wears Joie clothing and Joie shoes is modern, fresh and enjoys casual elegance. She wears clothes that have a vintage look and a soft, comfortable feel. Her whole outfit easily transitions from rural to urban. Inspired by a Southern California lifestyle, she loves Joie’s concept of “casual, comfortable and luxurious.” Each piece that the Joie woman wears encompasses a balance of these three elements, one does not exist without the other in her ensemble. She is understatedly chic, wearing clothes within a reasonable budget.
Soft, comfortable and easy to throw on, the Joie girl adores her Joie shoes. Ideal with her Joie clothes, her Joie shoes transition effortlessly from beach to city life. Her Joie shoes which are vintage-inspired, are ultra sleek and yet still playful with their modern colors and constructions. She loves wearing her bright patent leather, vibrant stripes and ladylike natural fibers. Like Joie, traveling is her muse and she loves that her Joie shoes and her Joie clothing are both designed to be travel-ready.

The seaweed is such a beautiful color and the fabric was nice silk but the waist seemed too dropped for the style to be flattering, hit at an awkward area. Would have looked better if the waist a little higher.
