Jambu Reviews
I was looking for a boot that I could tuck my boot cut jeans into and these work great! I received lots of compliments on them and they are very comfortable. I haven't tested them standing outside at 40 below but they are warm enough for short distances.
Fabulous shoe! I have several pairs of Jambus and love them all. This is a great casual but distinctive shoe. It's very warm as well. I always get a lot of compliments on it when I wear it.
These shoes are stylish and attractive and will appeal if you're not looking for something in the preppy set or the super spiked high heels. They run a bit large; I usually wear a 9, which was much too big so I returned for an 8.5. They're not quite the true red that my monitor shows, but have a slightly more maroon tone. They look sturdy for walking but really were not comfortable even for the short walk between office and train. Unfortunately, the heel is stiff and slips. Additionally, the angle of the foot bed caused my foot to continually slide into the toe box. Through the day I wore them with hose and without (hoping that a bare foot would not slide around inside the shoe as much). I ended the day with large blisters on my heels and on the tops of my 3rd toe on each foot.
I am very happy with these! My feet are a little wide so I was worried they would be too tight but they are perfect!
My last pair of Jambus were a size 7.5, so this time I ordered an 8 because of the reviews. Seemed a little short at first but I think they will be fine. Jambus are one of the only brands of shoe I can wear comfortably without an orthotic. Love the purple color!
I love these! I am a barefoot runner and can't wear the Vibram Five Fingers. These are more comfortable and free and are even cute instead of weird looking. I wear them for everything casual all year round. They are amazingly durable for being so thin and light.
The shoes are so cute! Unfortunately the shoe rubs terribly on the lateral part of the ankle. I generally have no problem with shoes fitting.
I have been searching for shoes that are comfortable to stand in for over six hours, but that also are appropriate for a corporate business environment. I normally do not spend much on a pair of shoes, and I have not bought leather in over a decade for ethical reasons. However, I fell in love with these boots, and Jambu seems to be a very globally conscious company. For me, these are well worth the investment (and slightly guilty conscience). They are incredibly comfortable to stand and walk in (they are lightweight and very stable). The heel makes them work appropriate, while the little details give them a punky edge for casual wear. The leather is soft but pebbled, and with the rubber toe/heel bumpers, these will hold up to a lot of wear without showing it. I highly recommend these boots!
Warm and comfortable and super cute -- you can't go wrong with the Beijing. I first purchased a size up (8) because of the reviews, but then I returned them for my normal size (7.5), and they fit perfectly. I could have worn the size 8, but my heel slipped out. The 7.5 fits perfectly. I think I will have to spray the suede to preserve it, because I notice the toe area getting a little matted after 1 month of wear (and not everyday wear).
Every Jambu I have tried on that have these straps, the metal rings dig into inside of my foot. Not comfy at all.
These are cute, in a clunky sort of way. And I loved the saddle color, very authentic looking. And the insole was very cushy. However, that strap is too high up...causing chafing at the base of my ankle. I'm not sure why they didn't put that more across the instep.
I loved the style so much I purchased in two colors; had I needed Black, I would have had 3 pair. This shoe is very comfortable and versatile. I would recommend.
I love these shoes, so comfortable right out of the box. I thought they ran a little small, I usually wear a 9.5 but had to return and order a 10. The only thing I don't like about them is that the insole is very sweaty and they make my feet feel slimy within a few minutes of wearing them. I'm hoping that changing the insole might help that problem.
Ordered these in 7.5 after reading reviews (I wear 7 to 7.5). Overall comfy except my heels kept slipping out the back and my toes hit the toe box -- not sure if it's because my 2nd toe is longer? I returned, unfortunately. I am ordering from a different vendor in an 8 (they were a few dollars cheaper) and hopefully it will work out. Overall, they felt very light and made me feel taller.

These shoes are so comfortable; they are like ballerina slippers but with pretty good cushioning and support. The tow box is quite wide (which I wanted) but stylish and the heel tapers sufficiently to hold the heel in place. The medium width is too wide for me, I need narrow, so the straps, when pulled tight enough to hold my foot, were too long to velcro properly. Fortunately I have access to a Shoe Repair (though it's a 45 mile round trip) and he was able to removed the velcro strips, cut the straps and remake that part of the shoe. Now they fit much better and are light, comfy and cute. If you wear a medium width these should be just fine. They run true to size, maybe a little bit longer.
Cute shoe and comfortable sole but there is no support around toe area, it's very stretchy. Also the little metal rings that hold the straps dig into the side of foot.
I love them! It's too bad I can't sleep in them. They do run a half a size small. It was fun shopping in your online catalog. This was my first experience shopping on line. I read other people's reviews, it was helpful. Thanks, Alice
These are without a doubt some of the most comfortable and supportive shoe I have ever worn. Kind of reminds me of the Famolare shoes from years ago. Love them. Make them in lots of colors, please.
Close... but no cigar! Really bummed; I love Jambu and they usually fit me well. I tried 3 sizes and none were quite right. I wear a 39 and the size 8 fit the best, but I could not have gone smaller in the toe and there was still a gap behind the heel. Bummer. Had to return. They look great though. ;-)
