I purchased these for crossfit. I go 5 days per week and have been wearing them most days. They have been amazing and seem to hold up really well to the abuse. I have tried the Reebok Nano 4's and didn't like them (they were heavy and bulky) as well as the new Nike Metcon. These are light as a feather and super comfortable. I don't wear them on days we have lots of running, though. There isn't much cushion for that. I highly recommend these shoes!

I wanted this shoe for Insanity type workouts. I thought the toe box would be wider, but it was actually snug on my foot and I dont have a wide foot. For example, the Reebok Crossfit shoes are too wide in the toe box for me. If I were to keep these, I would probably go up a half size - maybe that would help with the snugness. The reason why I didnt keep these is because there is no traction on the bottom. It is a very minimalist shoe and if it had more traction it would be perfect. I dont recommend it for those with wider feet though.

I'm an ultrarunner (I prefer 50 and 100 milers) and I love these shoes for trail running. They are lightweight, with plenty of room in the toebox, and great support. They're great for gnarly technical trails, even when they're wet and slippery. I just found this version to be a tad smaller, so went up in size.

I wanted to love these -- overall, they were really comfortable and soft. Ordered them first in a 9.5 (my usual sneaker size) but felt my toes coming pretty close to the front, plus they were too narrow in the back. Exchanged them for a size 10. The fit of the toe box was a whole lot better, but the back still feels narrow -- they rub very uncomfortably on the side of my foot. These are marked as wide, but they really don't feel all that wide -- seemed to fit a little narrow, so I'd hate to have tried their regular shoes. I'm going to have to try a different brand.

The 230 is quite an interesting feel. Definitely leans toward a minimalist design and feel which is what I was looking for. You will not find layers of "cushiony" support (or fluff) with this shoe that you find with other runners such as Asics, Nike or Saucony. Also, if tons of arch support is needed this is not the shoe for you. I wear these shoes for running and minimal cross-training. They shine brightest on the asphalt and treadmill - Sometimes I feel as if I'm running barefoot on the beach in the sand. I like them. They do run small - I'm a 12 but had to return for a 13.

I have had this shoe for well over a year. I am a 65 year old, 5'11", 163 pound runner. Trails are my preference and I have been running them for 51 years. Like most trail runners, I own a number of different trail shoes for different conditions. Trail shoe brands include Inov-8, Altra and Brooks. If I were allowed only one trail shoe, the Inov-8 Trail Roc 245 would be it. While it does not have the traction of, say the Inov-8 Bare Grip 200, or the comfort of an Altra shoe, it does have a rock plate that is as flexible as any I have experienced, traction sufficient for 85% of the terrain out there and a level of comfort that allows endless miles without issues. In other words, it is competent in all conditions. I am now ordering a replacement pair. I have owned four different models from ultra light racing flats for street use to a "grind out the miles" trainer that I can use for dirt and pavement. If you have not tried Inov-8 shoes, they are worthy of serious consideration.

OCR runner! Great shoe so far I have completed the Warrior Dash & the Savage Race with these shoes. Worth every penny during the Savage. I looked around within my group to see mud skiing not mud runners. No mud skiing for me. The claws ripped through the mud!

Really great work out CrossFit shoe. The zero drop helps a lot and the low profile is a benefit to movements. First time with a minimal shoe, so it takes some getting used to. Fit is comfortable and feels good. The shoe runs a half size small, so up your size. I have a fairly narrow 10.5+ foot with big toes and the 11 just fit. Would have tried the 11.5 but this is good and snug. The toe box is just roomy enough. The tread is sticky and provides great traction. A bit pricey but it helps and is good. Glad I have them.

While a lot of posts stated that these sneakers ran small I found that they fit true to size. The tongue of the sneaker rubs on my feet a lot-hopefully they will break in. They are super light which I like. The arch could be better. So for the price I was hoping for a better feel.

Do not like shoes. It is too big and it hurts my ankles. Got them for my heel spur. Dislike them.

Super comfortable and perfect for straight lifting or circuits. The velcro strap makes the shoe feel like an extension of your foot so there is no sliding around and everything is locked in. They are half the weight of typical lifting shoes, so moving straight into box jumps or double unders was effortless. The flat sticky sole makes you feel like your feet are cemented to the floor. Still not going to run with them...they just aren't built for that, but they are perfect for indoor Oly lifts and circuits.

My only experience with this brand was when I ordered a different style from another site. The comments on the previous style said that you needed to order a full size down. That's not the case with this style as I ordered my normal size and they fit great with room for a good thick sock. The toe box is designed to allow your toes to spread and that it does. I use these shoes for cross training-weight lifting and they work fine. I am a Utah fan and I ordered the red color. Love the shoe and would recommend it. Solid but light weight. By the way, Zappos is just great to work with and frankly sets a high bar that other online sites can't meet when it comes to service.

Too tight, had to return them. Previously my 195s did not have this issue. Feels like Inov8 may have changed this model too much.

I'm so glad I chose these lifting shoes! They fit great and I've noticed a difference in my lifts and improved stability. I wear a pair of inov-8s during my regular CrossFit wods and I got the same size. Love these shoes!

Great shoe out of the box. I normally wear a 12 (US), but I wear 11.5 (US) in Inov-8s. Felt comfortable on the road, no foot pain. Took them on a trail run this past weekend at Tunica Hills - very comfortable and got me trough some wet, sloppy muck.

The F-Lites are great shoes for all day wear in warmer climates. They are extremely breathable. Walking in them you can feel airflow over the top of your feet.

Shoe seems to be a smaller fit. Good quality, but unable to use as it is too short and too narrow for my very average-sized feet. Order accordingly.

Like a lot of Inov-8's wide-toe-box shoes, these fit short in the length. I also find that my heel and mid-foot (in torsion) slips in these, which I think is due to how low the top lace area ties.

It was a love from the first sight, I did ordered my regular 9½W - and they was smaller, than marked. I got size 10W - that was perfect! They are very light and comfortable and stylish!

I really wanted to love these shoes, but the quality is just not there. After only 2 mths use for crossfit wods, seams are peeling at the toe and also between the fabric changes in the shoe. Treads are not nearly tough enough for rope climbs and are also peeling. I also ordered a pair for my friend and she noticed the peeling after only a few weeks. I have 4 other pairs of Inov-8's all used for crossfit or running and these fall very short due to the quality. It's a shame because I do like how they perform for general wods and the fit, but it's a high price to pay for only a few months use. In terms of performance, I didn't mind using them for rope climbs but I still prefer my nano 1.0 for those. I did like them for all other movements. I am a 8.5 and although I'm close to needing a 9, I was still glad I went with the 8.5

I normally wear an 8, and ordered an 8.5 in these -- they fit perfectly. Snug at first, but after a month now, couldn't be better. I wear them for CrossFit, and previously wore New Balance Minimus, Altras, and Reebok Nano 2.0 and 4.0s. The F lite 235s are by far, my favorite. Stable in the heel, super flexible in the forefoot, great protection from the rope, tapered in the toe so they don't catch on DUs, and most importantly, so lightweight and breathable. They weight 100g less than my Nanos, and give me the ability to land softly on jumps.
