Loved this shoe. Bought it for my first Spartan race, and the grip really helped me to not slip on the trails, rocks, ramps and walls. Did not need to break them in and wore them without socks and didn't get any blisters. Various other reviews recommend getting it a half size up, which I did, but I didn't need, as I believe they fit me true to size. Only small negative is that it doesn't drain water very quickly. Very happy with this purchase

Awesome shoes! Just ran a 5k mud run with obstacles. No breaking in. Didn't slip once. Climbed mud hills with no problem. Water drains out and does not weigh the shoe down. Love these!

I purchased these shoes to use as cleats for slow pitch softball and the grip is exactly what I needed for quick sprints while not having to worry about slipping. I also planned on using them for all terrain hiking during our camping trips. I normally wear a size 8.5-9 women's sports shoe and have average to wide feet. I originally purchased a size 8.5 and 9.5 of the mudclaw with poor fitting (I really wanted the mudclaw because they visually appealed to me and were discounted and unfortunately, those were the only available sizes). Finally I purchased the talon at full cost in a size 9 and wear them with thin performance socks, the fit is perfect! Since I wear them for a few hours at a time, I find them to be comfortable. Arch support is minimal but I'm okay with that. Overall, I love these shoes yet they are a bit expensive. I received many compliments. I truly recommend them will surely put them to use.

These are supposed to have a wide toe box and the width on the shoe is a C but they squish my little toes. It is a beautiful shoe and feels supportive with nice cushioning. I wear 8 regular shoes and 9 in running shoes. I need a roomy toe box but do not have wide feet.

These are the 3rd pair of inov-8s that I have owned in the last couple of years. I am an avid crossfitter and Oly lifter and really like the F-Lite 250's. Traditionally I have been wearing Reebok Nano or Nike Metcons for Crossfit and the Inov-8 Lifters for Oly lifting. I decided to change from the Metcon to the F-Lite and feel that the weight, fit and support is far superior to the above mentioned.

I normally wear a women's 8.5 or men's 7.5, but given the comments about this running small, I went with the larger option (UK 6.5). The wide is definitely wide enough for the wide part of my feet, while also remaining narrow enough in the heel so that my feet don't move in the shoe as I walk. However, the arch was positioned just a tad too far back to be comfortable for a long period of time, and the bridge area was just a bit too tight, so I'm trying a half-size larger to see if they fit better.

Ordered on a recommendation and ordered 1/2 size up from my US measurement and it fit perfectly. Very light weight yet solid shoe. It has enough cushion to run on a solid packed earth trail and transition to a root filled grassy slope with ease. Very aggressive tread.

This is my 3rd pair of this model. 5th pair of Inov-8s. This version of the shoe is much tighter in the box than the previous version. They pushed oddly on the outside of my foot and are not comfortable running or lifting. Maybe they need a break in period? I ordered "wide" in the same size as the previous 2 pair but received "standard" so I think it's the right fit. The sole is far less durable than the previous generation. It came unglued at the toe and the sole was shredded like it was run down a cheese grader. This from doing 50 burpees on a rubber floor. Thankfully Zappos is a great company and swapped them out. Hoping for better luck with the replacements.

Good show for weightlifting, squatting, and training heavy. you could wear them in a picnch for cross-fit, but its much more of a traditional lifting shoe. shoe fits normal to me and our team. very sturdy heel.

First lifting shoe and it's great! Comfortable and sturdy. I am usually between a 7 and 7 1/2 and the 7 1/2 fit perfectly.

Loved my first pair of these shoes but they finally wore out. I replaced with the current model of the same shoe. 10 trail runs so far and very happy again. Great fit and they last.

Amazing, all I can say. I have MS (multiple sclerosis) with foot drop, my right foot does not lift when walking. I kept tripping and falling when wearing normal tennies, so I tried these and so so glad I did. I will be buying a second pair soon.

I have Flintstone feet, flat, fat & wide. I love the way these feel, they do run small and I sized up a half size. The toe box is nice and wide also!!!! I think I will order another pair in another color!!!!!

I wanted so badly to love these as a replacement for my beloved but now extinct new balance minimus. I have an extremely wide toe box with otherwise average width throughout the rest of my foot, with bunions to boot. I jumped for joy when I saw the stretchy patch in the bunion area. Even sized up to 9.5 from my regular 9, these were all around uncomfortable. My toes felt restricted, the heel hurt and the tops of my feet were pinched. They were also HOT and heavier than expected. I'm so extremely disappointed and out a decent chunk of change because I wore them all day in the desperate hope they would loosen up.

Long time innov-8 wearer...especially fond of the XF and old bare-X minimalist series. Bought these as replacements for my old Road-X llite 155s... These are nice shoes, but built with a wider platform that feels slightly clunky to me. Why do companies keep insisting on making a "wide toe box"? These have a nice heel lock, but the front end feels sloppier than necessary. I'll tighten the laces and get over it, but would prefer if the framework was shaped more like the old Road X

Inov8 says it comes in wide but that's not what arrived at my door. It's a standard size instead. My heals had red marks on them after a half hour of wearing them in the house with running socks on and Sole inserts. I was hoping to find a running shoe with aggressive tread for a wide foot, but alas, this is not the shoe. The shoe is lightweight and flexible, and the tread seems great, but back to Zappos it goes.

Needed a shoe with minimal support for beach body workouts. I am working on rehabbing a foot after major surgery (mid foot fusion). Tried multiple pairs and these fit like a glove and are perfect for my needs--only shoes that worked, of all I tried! Do run abit big, had to go down 1/2 size.
