I ordered half a size down per the other reviews (9 instead of 9½). I have three other pairs of Indigos, and 2 are 9½, so I consider that to be my regular size. However, they were too small, so I am reordering. They feel super comfortable with lots of padding in the ball of the foot. I think the patent leather is nice and sassy, appropriate for work. I cannot wait for the new pair to arrive!
These shoes are actually fairly comfortable for patent leather heels. In the past I have found patent to be excruciating but these, because they are real leather, stretch after wearing a few times. I love Sofft shoes because of the arch support and the heel height is perfect for all day wear.
It's rare to find a patent pump that is comfortable right out of the box, but here it is, ladies! The toe box is roomy, gives your tootsies a bit of space to move, and the Plush-style footbed of this and other similar Indigo pumps (like the Plush Weave also available at Zappos) puts the foot at an angle that allows you to keep your balance, even when stepping out your pace. I'm no expert when it comes to shoe design, but the heel is relatively low and tapers in somewhat, which seems to allow the foot a more natural stepping motion (i.e. I've never experienced the dreaded "heel drag" with these that I have with other heels). Definitely a shoe to try if you're on your feet all day. The padding is ample and with high arches, I need good arch support, which these have. I liked these and the Plush Weave shoes enough that I stocked up...three pairs of each. If Clarks made this shoe in different colors/materials, I'd be back for more. Stop thinking about it and just buy them. You won't be sorry.
Consider yourself warned: These shoes will stretch. I've been wearing them somewhat regularly for a month now, and they have stretched to the point where I can no longer wear them. When I first tried them on, they were so snug my toes were somewhat uncomfortable. Now, I can barely keep them on my feet as they slide off my ankles with every step. I will say that they are extremely comfortable, and in the beginning I could wear them through a busy night at a job where I am constantly walking. I wish I had known that they would stretch so much, and I would have bought a half size (at least) down and slowly broken them in. I'm considering buying them again a size smaller, but I'm so disappointed by the money wasted on the first pair.
These shoes are great very comfortable from the start. I wasn't sure of the size and ordered several pairs. Service was great and returns very easy.
These are very cute, but so tight in the front. Sorry, I have to return them.
Very cute shoes for wearing with my Navy uniform. I found these shoes to meet the military uniform requirements (solid black, rounded toe, medium-low heel height, patent leather and super comfortable to wear all day even if you don't usually wear heels). At the same time they're fun and flirty, playful yet classic. I love wearing them off duty, too.

I love these shoes. As a graduating college student, these shoes are wonderful for job hunting. Roaming a career fair for hours? These shoes stay comfortable. All day interview? I never wobble in these heels. I recommend them for any professional.

Beautiful and sexy. Heel height is great. I usually wear a 2.5 inch heel but the platform on this makes me 2.75 taller but with the comfort of a 2.5 inch heel!
I tried eight of the best rated shoes to find the most comfortable and still cute pump out there (on Zappos that is) and this is by far the most comfortable of them all (Naturalizer came in second). The heel stem angles towards the front of the foot creating a cute look - I think it makes my feet look a bit smaller too. I am so happy to have found this shoe. I am wearing it to an interview next, and know it will still go with anything!
These are the most comfortable heels that I have ever owned! I almost did not order them because of the other reviews but figured that I did not have anything to lose with the free return policy of Zappos. They are so cute and comfortable to wear for hours on end. I sing with our praise band at church and am on my feet for a couple hours at a time. I have problems with my feet and lower back but the soft cushion in these shoes kept my feet comfortable and my back much less painful. I have received many compliments on them because they look so cute and sexy on my feet. I wish they would be available in many other colors. I would buy them all!
Fantastic shoe. Easy to stretch if necessary because of premium material. Don't feel like you are walking in heels. Unique stylish modern yet retro heel. Have to have a backup pair. Best pump!
These pumps are beautiful on your feet. They are classy rather than trashy. I would not suggest these for anyone who needs to stand all day, but they are reasonably comfortable for heels this high. The toe box is a bit low, so it may pinch anyone with a high arch. It would be great if they were available in other colors.
Nice shoe, but not at all comfortable in the foot bed. I ordered this shoe because I've heard a lot about Clarks being a good brand for comfort. This one just wasn't for me. It was padded behind the heel, which was a plus, but I couldn't stand in them for longer than an hour.
What a gorgeous shoe, but unbearably uncomfortable. Leather is very stiff and has very little give. Top edge of shoe cuts into foot and I do not have a thick or wide foot. As soon as I put them on and walked a few feet, knew these wouldn't work.
