Super cute, stylish, classic little black boot. The heel is positioned perfectly on the foot bed so that walking is very balanced, even for those who don't normally wear "heels". This is a snug fit with a comfortable inside- if you normally wear thick socks, I would go a 1/2 size up. I wear only thin socks without any discomfort- no strange rubbed areas or rough edges anywhere inside. Could use a bit more arch support.

I ordered these for my 82 year old father who has early Parkinson's and difficulty walking for extended amounts of time. Not only are these his FAVORITE shoes, they are light weight, feel wonderful, no break in time needed and they were at his doorstep before noon the day after I ordered them. He loves them so much he wants them in black but so far they are not available. They look great, feel great, and are just exactly what he needed. Thanks Zappos and Hush Puppies!

I purchased this shoe looking for a nice comfortable black work shoe that had a little style. I'm usually a 9.5 so I purchased that one first, the toe box is very hard and does not flex, resulting in the 9.5 being too tight at the toes and painful. I switched to the 10 which got away from this issue, but then the shoes were too loose! I tried inserts but they only somewhat solve the problem. If not for the issue with the fit with the toes I'd give the shoe a 5, but considering a 9.5 is too tight and a 10 too loose, I have to downgrade the shoe to a 3. P.S. The black is very shiny.

Shoes are comfortable, and I really like the look. The fit might feel a little big if you’re wearing dress socks (I didn't think of this...) so might consider going a half size down.

What a comfortable pair of sandals! I walk a lot during the summer on different surfaces and these give me a great traction. It's soft especially on the heels. The straps do not even feel they are there-- it has just the right elastic stretch. The style is unique and since I do not like anything gripping around the ankles, I just had to buy this. I am thinking of buying another pair! I recommend this pair to everyone who walks all day.

Since my husband has extremely wide feet, I wanted to make sure that these shoes were actually wide EEE. Sure enough, they fit him perfectly, wear well, and are true to size. Make sure the EEE also says EW, otherwise the shoe is not a true EEE.

I love these shoes!!! They're super cute, great with jeans, capris, skirts, and dresses. I have wide feet with high arches and these shoes fit perfectly. They're comfortable enough to wear to work all day and out all night. I can't wait to get the other color!

I was disappointed that these shoes didn't work out! I have been searching endlessly for a pair of cute/comfortable work appropriate shoes, but have not yet been able to find the "perfect" pair. Arioso by Hush Puppies, were cute enough, though the proportions of the shoe look different online than in person. I would have gotten over the mediocrity of the appearance in a heartbeat, had the shoes not been SO uncomfortable. These shoes are obviously built to be comfortable (good padding, flexible soles, good arch support), but they just weren't. Maybe it's just my foot, but I do agree with past reviewers who say that the shoe felt a whole size smaller and much more narrow than marked. Good luck!

Cute, but a tad unstable - I got these in the pewter and LOVE the color. They are very comfortable, but unfortunately, felt a little unstable which I attribute to the sharply tapered heel. There is a decent amount of cushioning so I think most people who are used to walking in skinnier heels will find this shoe very comfortable.

I travel quite a bit, and the hardest thing I have to pack are comfortable shoes. I tried the Hush Puppies (Earl), and found it to be the MOST COMFORTABLE shoe I have ever worn. A friend (male) gave me a pair and I fell in love. It is, of course, a MAN’S shoe, but I ordered it a few sizes smaller than I normally wear and it fit. It is the only show I can wear for days at a time and not even know I am wearing a shoe. The design is sort of retro, and I got the black suede. It goes through rain, mud, etc., and comes out looking great. I am seriously thinking of ordering another pair, since this particular shoe was hard to track down. I love, love, love, this shoe and have Zappos to thank for tracking it down for me. I also was unsure of the size (since it was a man's size), and had to send two pairs back until I found one to fit. Their system is so user friendly-- it was not a problem. They did not have one in stock for 6 months, but when it came in, they alerted me via email, and I received it in 4 days. Great company, fantastic public relations people, a truly grand shopping experience.

Pretty close to perfect - The heel is a bit higher than it looks in the picture, but it's still an incredibly comfortable shoe. The only thing I would change is I would give the strap an adjustable buckle (it's stitched on with a bit of elastic--it stretches, but not an awful lot). Other than that, this shoe is pretty close to perfection.

I bought these shoes for my husband because he generally dresses like a slob and needs some nice clothes for when the occasions arise. He likes the way the shoe fits- very comfortable- and also they aren't really dressy, but can be worn with a casual jacket and slacks for more dressy occasions.

The shoes I ordered came within 3 days! I ordered other brands of fisherman sandals, too, but these were the most comfortable by far. I have a very high instep and these fit well. I have now worn the shoes for two weeks and they are exactly what I had hoped for.

This a good shoe for walking. Not big and bulky like some. Not quite as comfortable on the bottom of my feet as I would like, but comfortable. The last pair I had I wore for 2 years and they didn't even look worn. I have always liked Hush Puppies for their comfort and wide sizes.

An under appreciated classic. There's never been a better casual shoe. More comfortable than any number of contemporary (and ugly) sneakers and walking shoes. I own several. It'd be fun to see 'em in two tone. Maybe a limited edition.

I have really hard to please feet. If something isn't comfortable from the minute I put it on I don't buy it. Oh, and the front of my feet are wide and the back narrow. Having said all that, these shoes are terrific! They're cute, comfy and fit well. I've gotten many compliments on them. And the price was right - what could be better?

These sandals are very comfortable and fit to a tee. They are the real wide size and the adjustable strap keeps them tight on my foot. I have a bad left foot that is 1/2 size shorter than the right and these sandals stay on. The only pair I ever found to do that. They are stylish enough to wear out to a neighborhood restaurant or just walk around.

I received these shoes in British tan just this week. They are truly the sandals I have been waiting for. They are true to size and feel as if they were molded especially for my feet. I am buying a second pair in black.

These are the most comfortable shoes. I stand behind the bar for 9 hours without a break at a high volume nightclub and never have sore feet or slip. They are perfect for walking and standing for long periods of time.

For some reason this simple little shoe is comfortable right out of the box. There is hardly any breaking in time. If you have a wider foot, order one half size up. The leather, especially on the black ones will stretch enough to fit your foot. There is little to no arch support, so if you need arch support this shoe's not for you! There is a heel pillow. The sole is grippy enough to stand on concrete or cement floors for a period of time, without having to worry about slipping; yet the sole of the shoe does not make the shoe heavy or clunky. Really nice not there shoe. I did not like the tan color, but that's just me.

This classic style was comfortable right out of the box. They are perfect for work into the evening hours. The shoe is cut quite comfortably to accommodate my 8.5W foot, in spite of the rounder toe. The heel is perfect and a little wider giving more support. I will be putting these away for the summer, but I have a great pair of gray pumps for the upcoming Fall and Winter months.

These are cute, but not as comfortable as I had hoped. Padding and support are OK, but they just feel sort of heavy and stiff. Fine for a day that you'll be at your desk most of the time, but maybe not for a day when you’ll need to do a lot of walking.
