Can't wait for the rain. These boots look awesome and a bit more edgy than the classic Hunters. Originally I bought the white, but as much as I loved the idea of white Watlings, they were just not flattering on the leg like the black ones. I have worn these a few times now and enjoyed every moment. When it gets colder I will add a wool sock. Then eventually when it's freezing and snowy I will switch to my Sorels. I highly recommend this boot. I normally wear US 7, and I bought a 6 (UK4/37).

Brands I'd also recommend: Sorel, Frye, Tory Burch, Ugg, Cole Haan

The tongue isn't separate from the boot, so those hoping to use a lace up to accommodate more athletic calves may be disappointed (I was). Beautiful boot. Wish it had fit. True to size foot bed.

I love these boots! I paid full price and have no buyer's remorse. Would snatch these up in a heartbeat at this sale price! I am usually an 8 1/2. I ordered both 8 and 9 and the 9s by far fit better. I would've had no mercy for socks or insoles with the 8. I put Super Feet insoles in these and they're so comfortable and ready for the long haul of a rainy day. I bought the original Hunters, too, but sent those back for these hip things! Fun!

Brands I'd also recommend: Dansko, Naot, Frye

I was so excited to finally get a pair of hunter boots...I couldn't decide for the longest time which kind/color but when I saw these on sale my decision was made for me! Since I've gotten them in the mail (right before Christmas) I've already worn them countless times and have gotten equally the amount of compliments. I normally wear a 9.5 in a closed toe/boot and went with a 9 and they fit great...I also added a gel insert like I normally do with boots and can still fit a heavier sock with them. I find them extremely comfortable and the calf fits me great (still get straight leg or skinny jeans tucked in) I have a more muscular calf and most knee high boots just fit me...I loved them soooooo much I bought an additional pair and plan on putting them away for the future tho I feel the first pair will last for a long time and they are such a classic with a little edge that I can still see me wearing them in ten years. You will not be disappointed with the quality of these boots definitely worth the price and even the packaging was beautiful!

    All about Hunter

If you want a place where people appreciate the benefits of a well-fitting, waterproof boot, Scotland seems a natural choice. Mr. Henry Lee Norris most certainly thought so when he set up shop with his master boot makers back in 1856. Originally, Hunter rain boots were designed for traversing Scotland’s rugged terrain and combating its unpredictable weather. Since then, the reputation of Hunter men's rain boots, Hunter women's rain boots and Hunter children's rain boots for performance, durability and outstanding comfort has become legendary worldwide.

Although their links to the present day cover over 150 years and an awful lot of advancement, there are things about a pair of Hunter rain boots that Henry would still recognize: the care, the craftsmanship, and the refusal to compromise on quality.

The first of the famous Hunter green Wellingtons were seen back in 1956. Ever since, they’ve been mastering the art of welly making for children and adults, by using the best of new materials, introducing revolutionary technology and replying on good old fashioned hand craftsmanship. What sets Hunter rain boots apart from the competition lies in part to a closely guarded secret process. The result is a much stronger, watertight boot that will perform under the toughest conditions.

Hunter is equally proud of the things that have changed and the things that stay the same. The weather's just as wet and the Hunter rain boots are just as good! Today, Hunter remains the preferred welly brand for men, women and children who like to work hard and play hard. Wherever your pursuits may lie, be they in a distant wooded field or amidst the bustle of city streets, Hunter has the perfect footwear for keeping up with your unique lifestyle.

It rains a lot in Seattle (you might have heard), and these boots are the thing to have here. They are cute and functional. Many reviews said that they were a full size bigger than normal, and the option of half sizes does not exist, so I would have done that if I could have. I have not tried them with thick socks and that may be a problem because they may be way too small then. We will see. They are cute.

These are definitely a quality boot. They do run quite big and they are also quite tall for a short person. I'm 5'4" and the tops of this style hit my knee a little, but not enough to make them uncomfy.

I was very happy to have these boots during the enormous amounts of rain and the unseasonable (and also enormous) amount of snow that we received in upstate NY in October. Kudos (as usual) to Zappos for their exceptional customer service. I am so spoiled now by Zappos because you order and they deliver- immediately! These are well-made boots and do a good job protecting feet and lower legs from rain and snow. They are rain boots, however, so (a) they do not breathe well and (b) they do not offer much arch support. To be expected, but just an alert. I normally wear a 9 1/2, but the 9 fits fine, even with heavier socks and an insole to give some extra support. These boots look great and are definitely not your typical girly duck-foot rain boots. I think they are somewhat overpriced for what they are, but I am very happy with them overall, and the quality is such that I expect them to last through years of wear.

Brands I'd also recommend: Frye, Doc Martens

These rock. Super cute, not too chunky, not too tall (I'm 5'5") and run a little bit larger and wider than a usual shoe so it will allow room for a nice thick fleece liner sock. I'm happy with how these feel while walking, not too heavy and they are sturdy yet also comfy for being made of rubber. I had tried on other brands of very cheaply made rubber rain boots and these are by far worth the price. These will definitely last a few seasons at minimum.

I love Hunter boots and have bought several pairs. So when I bought these, I figured they would fit just like the other Hunters (which I always buy a whole size smaller) I wear a size 10 and normally buy a size 9 in Hunter boots. So when I bought a size 9 in these, I was surprised that they fit a bit tighter than usual. They still fit, but a bit smaller than normal.

I love these boots. I have very skinny legs, and these are the only rain boots that I have found that fit. I receive complements every time I wear these boots. They also run big. I found that I need to go down a size for the boots to fit properly.

I love these boots. I wanted a different pair of rainboots that had a bit of character than the usual Hunter boots. I got these in green and they're perfect. I'm a true 10.5 but range between a 10 and 11. I got these in a 10 and there's still plenty of room for me. Comfortable enough to wear all day and they keep my feet dry. They're a little bit heavy but you don't really notice it until you take off the boots. There's not really a lot of arch support but they are rainboots after all so I'm not complaining. Perfect!

Seems to be a lot of controversy over whether these run big or small. For me they run big. I normally wear 10.5 or 11 (Euro 41-42); my feet were swimming in the 11. Size 10 fit fine with still plenty of room for extra insoles (necessary both for added support and to help take up the extra width, for me) and thick socks. Although they tell you to ignore the Euro size on the box/boot, I noticed the US size 11 was labeled Euro 43 (usually 11 equals 42), and I think the Euro size was more accurate in this case. I gave a 4 on comfort only because of the low level of support, but this is easily correctable with insoles. Super cute! Bought the green, love it.

Love the boots but they run small. Many reviews I read said they were big so I ordered my size and one size down. I had to return both and go up a size. I am normally a 9.5 Womens but went with a 10 womens. I have already waded through a creek and spent a lot of time in the mud - my feet stayed dry with style!

I bought these as a birthday gift for my girlfriend and boy I must tell you she loved them. Her face? Christmas tree, in other words she lit up and could not stop smiling. Felt like I had given a 7 year old a present they really wanted for Christmas. Plus not to mention Zappos upgraded me to a free over night shipping. Thanks a lot. :) Highly recommend these boots for anyone looking for a nice stylish look during the rainy days.5 stars isn't enough. I give it 10.
