If you want a place where people appreciate the benefits of a well-fitting, waterproof boot, Scotland seems a natural choice. Mr. Henry Lee Norris most certainly thought so when he set up shop with his master boot makers back in 1856. Originally, Hunter rain boots were designed for traversing Scotland's rugged terrain and combating its unpredictable weather. Since then, the reputation of Hunter men's rain boots, Hunter women's rain boots and Hunter children's rain boots for performance, durability and outstanding comfort has become legendary worldwide.
Although their links to the present day cover over 150 years and an awful lot of advancement, there are things about a pair of Hunter rain boots that Henry would still recognize: the care, the craftsmanship, and the refusal to compromise on quality.
The first of the famous Hunter green Wellingtons were seen back in 1956. Ever since, they've been mastering the art of welly making for children and adults, by using the best of new materials, introducing revolutionary technology and replying on good old fashioned hand craftsmanship. What sets Hunter rain boots apart from the competition lies in part to a closely guarded secret process. The result is a much stronger, watertight boot that will perform under the toughest conditions.
Hunter is equally proud of the things that have changed and the things that stay the same. The weather's just as wet and the Hunter rain boots are just as good! Today, Hunter remains the preferred welly brand for men, women and children who like to work hard and play hard. Wherever your pursuits may lie, be they in a distant wooded field or amidst the bustle of city streets, Hunter has the perfect footwear for keeping up with your unique lifestyle.

These boots are beautiful and slimming and so classy. I live in Portland and walk everywhere, and it is always raining. Sadly, the soles on the heels lasted less than 4 months before there was a hole and my feet were soaked. Super disappointed, but hopefully the classic hunter boot style is more sturdy?

First of all the style of this rain boots are superb. However, the quality of the boots are not. I have only wore those boots in the raining days for three seasons. Yes, mind you that I am a typical New Yorker, who takes subways and walks few blocks every day. So the out soles have worn out more quickly than any other boots or shoes I have...not to even mention the big split crack on the right boot. For the amount money spending on a pair of boots, I expect more use of it than this.

I'm a size 8.5 and was much happier with the size 9 than the 8. (I tried both thanks to the great return policy!)

I love this boot. I wanted something for when I take my dogs for a walk at the dog park or just around our yard. I found that the St. Regis Hunter boot was the most stylish rain boot out there. The only complaint I have is that it is a bit big for me; I have narrow feet, so I should have stuck to my normal size 7. Other reviewers said to go up a size, but for me an 8 is too big. However, it seems to be okay for what I use it for on a daily basis. This great stylish boot does not look like all the other rain boots. It's unique.

Gorgeous boots! Will last forever. So worth the money! Tall boots come up almost right below the back of the knee so the talls are really tall! Skinny jeans fit perfectly inside wih my leg and I have a pretty big calf muscle. Love them!
