Shoe Size: Felt a full size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to width
These boots are the perfect light grey color, a little lighter than the picture above. They aren’t as glossy as the picture either, but they don’t have the blooming problem that the non-glossy hunter boots have. That’s not to say that they’re dull, as the gloss, in my opinion, is just perfect. They do run a little large, so order a size down. They arrived right on time with a box I can use them to pack them in for traveling, and were in perfect condition. They’re the best rain boots I’ve ever owned and would definitely buy another pair.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthWow! I purchased these boots last night and they arrived today! That is amazing service by Zappos! I wear a 5/5.5 shoe size and I am 5’2”. I purchased a size 5 women’s figuring it would be really huge. It is probably a 1/2 size bigger, so if I wear thick socks or put an insole in, they will fit perfectly. Also, some pervious feedback on the height of the boot: for my height, they are a perfect knee high boot. I am looking forward to wearing these at the dog park, especially after all the rain!

Shoe Size: Felt a full size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI LOVE this boot. It’s totally worth the money. I live in Chicago with rain, cold, and snow and it’s perfect for all seasons. If I wear heavy socks, I don’t even really need the Welly fleece socks. The boots do run big. I typically wear a 7.5 in gym shoes and my Uggs are an 8, but these 7s are perfect. Loose enough for big socks, but not too big that they fall off. The gloss is great and the color makes me want to wear them all the time. I even bought my mom a pair of the shorter ones too. HIGHLY recommend if you like a good quality stylish product.

Shoe Size: Felt a full size larger than marked Shoe Arch: No arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthGreat boots. I disagree with the review below that said they are too heavy. For what they are, tall rubber boots, they\'re fairly light. Maybe I\'m a Clydesdale, I don\'t know lol. I actually was expecting taller, thinner shafts. In person, they look a bit wider and shorter. I\'m a runner, about 5\'9" 136 lbs, and don\'t have what you\'d call tiny calves, but my legs fit in the shafts fine even with jeans on. \r\n\r\nThese do run large. I am a 9.5 in most normal street shoes, a 10 in running shoes, and the 9 felt a bit large with regular-thickness socks. Felt more fitted with thicker ski socks, but I can\'t see wearing super-thick socks on those hot summer days when it\'s monsooning here in Houston. Just FYI, if you intend to wear them with regular socks, size way down. If too large, the heels will allow your foot to escape, as is common with any brand of rain boot.\r\n\r\nArch support isn\'t really there - easily fixed with some insoles, which may actually help the fit. These boots may arrive looking like they have a residue on them - that\'s just the protective wax. Wipe off with a warm, damp cloth. Overall, very stylish, cute enough to wear out to a movie on a rainy day.

All about Hunter
If you want a place where people appreciate the benefits of a well-fitting, waterproof boot, Scotland seems a natural choice. Mr. Henry Lee Norris most certainly thought so when he set up shop with his master boot makers back in 1856. Originally, Hunter rain boots were designed for traversing Scotland’s rugged terrain and combating its unpredictable weather. Since then, the reputation of Hunter men's rain boots, Hunter women's rain boots and Hunter children's rain boots for performance, durability and outstanding comfort has become legendary worldwide.
Although their links to the present day cover over 150 years and an awful lot of advancement, there are things about a pair of Hunter rain boots that Henry would still recognize: the care, the craftsmanship, and the refusal to compromise on quality.
The first of the famous Hunter green Wellingtons were seen back in 1956. Ever since, they’ve been mastering the art of welly making for children and adults, by using the best of new materials, introducing revolutionary technology and replying on good old fashioned hand craftsmanship. What sets Hunter rain boots apart from the competition lies in part to a closely guarded secret process. The result is a much stronger, watertight boot that will perform under the toughest conditions.
Hunter is equally proud of the things that have changed and the things that stay the same. The weather's just as wet and the Hunter rain boots are just as good! Today, Hunter remains the preferred welly brand for men, women and children who like to work hard and play hard. Wherever your pursuits may lie, be they in a distant wooded field or amidst the bustle of city streets, Hunter has the perfect footwear for keeping up with your unique lifestyle.

I really like these boots. I have the black Hunter original gloss boots. I purchased my regular size, and feel that they're a good fit, especially with the well socks that I ordered as well. My only complaint is that after 2 wearings the gloss has gotten a bit chalky.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI ordered these boots to replace a cheaper pair of rainboots. They came in the mail right away (love Zappos service!). But about the boots - size: fit relatively true to size. I'm a ladies 8, and ordered as such. Read reviews that they ran large, but the fit is perfect for thick socks or fleece liners, which are essential in the wet, slushy Chicago weather. I have large calves, although I'm average size everywhere else. These boots fit over my monster calves (comfortably!). The height may be a bit tall if you have shorter legs, but the fleece liners help keep it comfy. I've had them for about a month in the winter, and so far I'm very pleased and have received many compliments on these boots. The color is spunky, fun, and perky for the drab Chicago style.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size larger than marked Shoe Arch: Moderate arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthI purchased the Hunter boots for my daughter. She loves them. They run about a half size larger, but if you are using them in the winter, you need the room for thick socks as there is no lining. Definitely recommend the Hunter boot socks which can be rolled down over the top edge of the boot. The socks add warmth and style. Would buy another pair for sure. If you\'re buying on line, Zappos is great. We received the boots in a couple days, much to my surprise as it was Christmas rush.

These boots were a Christmas present, and I was eager to wear them right away. I am about 5'4" and they come up just below my knee, giving me lots of coverage in the snow, but they are not insulated! I usually wear a size 8, and the 8 in these allowed me just enough room to wear a pair of nice, thick socks. They're a little tricky to drive in, not offering a lot of flexibility, but they are stylish and practical in inclement weather to "boot" (get it?).

These boots are very comfortable and fit true to size. I don\'t have very long legs and my calves are very muscular, so muscular in fact that I often can\'t stuff them into boots I try on. Luckily, I had no issues with these boots as they are wide enough at the top to fit my calves comfortably and there is room left over so that I can stuff my jeans into them.

I bought these for my girlfriend for christmas and she couldn\'t be happier. They fit a size small(like Uggs)she wears a size 7 shoe and 6 in Ugg and now Hunter. Unlike a few comments, she can easily fit a skinny jean inside her tall boot even with the Hunter Sock, she is also 5\'5\'\'. These boots are great for snow and water as we had had plenty of both in the recent weeks. They wont be the warmest boots you have ever had but make no mistakes these boots are for all weather conditions within reason. A great buy for anyone.

I greatly enjoy these boots. I have only had them for 3 weeks and have already received many compliments on them. They are very waterproof and I can easily walk through puddles or piles of snow. However, there is little arch support, if any. I do have bad arches, though. My main complaint would be that my feet are absolutely freezing when I wear them outside. And although we are in the middle of winter, I would highly recommend buying/wearing warm, thick socks when wearing these boots, especially if your feet get cold easily. Overall, these boots have been great so far. They are not difficult to get on or off and you can easily tuck your jeans into them (I pull my jeans around my leg, like a super skinny jean). I highly recommend these boots, with some warm socks!

I do like the style of these boots. I do not consider myself too short I am 5'4 and am physically fit I exercise 5 times a week. After walking on these for 1 block I am very tired; for one the boots are a bit tall and are heavy and I do not wear them with the Hunter special thick and maybe heavy sock. These boots are heavy, maybe are insulated with steel. I am thinking of taking these to a boot specialist and have him shorten these by 3". Unfortunately I do not walk with a smile on these, but am hanging on to these because no water goes in and this is what I look for before looks. Should consider weight next time. But I can wait for winter to be over to put them away. I did not realize these came in gloss/matte. Mine are gloss. I thought gloss was the only option and I feel like a kid. Zappos should emphasize a bit more on gloss/matte option. I hope Hunter makes these ankle high or shorter than what they have as in my state these fireman tall boots are not necessary. I hope Zappos also includes weight of shoe/boot. And if it did include weigh I missed it. Can't write anymore; am tired after wearing these boots.

I bought these boots for my college-bound daughter who loves them. She says they are comfortable, practical, and, in the bright orange color, very cute. I also bought her the Hunter Liner Socks which serve as insulation from the cold and moisture.

I love my Hunter rain boots. This has been a rainy fall and winter so far here in Alabama, so I have worn them a lot already. I ordered my usual size 7 and they fit fine. I love the graphite color too. The boots are a little snug at the top, but fit well over skinny jeans and leggings.

Shoe Size: Felt a half size smaller than marked Shoe Arch: Excellent arch support Shoe Width: Felt true to widthComfortable, beautiful boot! I love my Original Gloss boots. Got them in black and they look so much better than the regular black; the shine is nice and doesn't look as intense as the picture. Also, the gloss boots don't have the streaky white marks that the original boots do. They are super comfy and I love clomping around in them! Some other reviewers have noted that they are short and the boots do come up really high on your leg. I am 5'2" and they came up almost to my knees, but I don't find this to be a problem. I wear a 5.5-6 and got a 5 and they fit perfectly with socks. I am able to tuck my jeans/pants in, but it is definitely tight; if you are planning on wearing the Welly socks with these, then I don't think you'll be able to tuck your jeans in unless you have really skinny calves! I saw the Welly socks at Nordstrom though and I don't think they are that cute, the boots would be just fine without. So glad I got these, even though I live in Southern California.
