I work in a city where the streets flood quickly so I have been looking for a rainboot that wasn't covered with polka dots and I was excited to find this boot, which I ordered in Graphite. Everything about them is perfect, except they are about an inch too tall for me. As long as I stand they are okay, but when I sit down the back of the boot is into the bend of my knee and I don't think I could tolerate the 45 minute drive into town like that. I am about 5'5" so I don't know if they are designed for taller people or if I'm just letting something bug me that shouldn't. I wish they offered the same style with a slightly shorter shaft. Unfortunately, I think I am going to return them and maybe try the Gabrielle Rocha in black, even though it's not nearly as nice looking. I need to get something because my pants are all getting ruined from dirty street water flipping up on them while I'm making my two block trek from the parking lot to the office in the rain!

I searched for a good price on the Hunter Gloss boot. Zappos, because of the free shipping, was the best price. The boots arrived 2 days from the day I ordered. They upgraded my shipping for free! The boots themselves are fantastic. The quality is top notch and the color is fun. I have already purchased another pair of shoes from Zappos and will be back for more.

Followed the reviews for the Hunter Original and got a half size down. I usually wear a 7.5-8 and went with the 7 (Size 38) and they fit perfectly. There were a few comments about the narrowness of the calf. I did not find this to be a problem. I'm also about 5'4" and so I was a little concerned about the height of the shaft. These boots hit me right below the knee: just right. These boots are super cute. They look awesome with leggings or skinny jeans and I can even see myself wearing them with a skirt in the right weather. I also totally love the shiny finish on the gloss version. Feet are dry and happy, look is cute and stylish. Great buy. We'll see how they hold up. I'm hoping to get at least a few years out of them.

Tall boots for rainy, cool days. They're pretty warm on their own, because the rubber doesn't breathe. But with wool socks, even warmer. Comfortable sole. Big around the calf, mine aren't very big to begin with, and the side buckle won't make them much tighter, so don't expect form fit. I have a moderately wide foot and these allow plenty of room.

These rain boots are fabulous, and so comfortable. They are definitely worth the money. Coming from an area where it rains the greater portion of the year, these boots are a definite necessity. To anyone looking for a pair of rain boots, I would not hesitate in recommending this brand. And buying through Zappos made it so easy. The service was superb and the boots arrived the very next day. These boots met my expectations exactly. Perfect color, size (I am usually a 9.5 and so I went up to a 10), and height. While I have not had them for very long, they appear to be quite sturdy. I look forward to wearing them more once winter hits!

These boots are great for rain or snow. The treading makes them safe for snow walking. I had some difficulty matching the Euro sizing with what I normally wear, but Zappos customer service is so great when it comes to returns and exchanges it's no different than trying on different sizes in a department store. Also the color really rocks. Once again, Zappos rules!

I am a 9 1/2 and order the US 9, thinking going all the way down to the 8 would be too small (after a lot of the reviews recommended going a size down). I am happy I didn't order the smaller size because after putting jeans and a fleece socks there is no way I would have been able to wear them with the boots. You need the room. I bought graphite and the color seems a little lighter than the pictured color. I am extremely happy with the boots. Crazy fast shipping. Thank you Zappos! Will order again from you.

Absolutely adore my new pair of Violet Gloss Hunters. I loved them so much that I fell asleep with them on sitting at the edge of my bed in a blissful state. When I woke up half an hour later my calves were plastered to the inside and it was super hard getting them off, but they’re for keeps. High quality wellies with the perfect shaft height and circumference and enough heel to keep things cute but safe. I cannot wait for rain. Bring it.

Great quality rain boot, but I have to return it because it was a little too tall for me. I am about 5’2� and the top of the boots came right up to the bottoms of my knees, so it was a little uncomfortable when I sat down. The buckles also made it uncomfortable to cross my legs because the boot was pretty high. Otherwise, I thought the color and fit were very good. Super comfy. I’m sad that I have to return them!

I love these boots. Unfortunately everyone else on my campus has them, so they're definitely not original. They fit great, once you figure out to order a size smaller than your normal size (I'm normally an 11, but I wear size 10 in these boots quite comfortably). The fit on the calves is great, and part of the reason why I got them. I have them in beige, which is not as light as I expected, but still fine.

I wore these to an all day horse race tailgate party in 3 foot deep mud and walked a mile to the races and a mile home and after 10 hours of walking in the mud, walking around the races, etc. I was amazed at how comfortable these were. I felt like I had slippers on. I could have kept wearing them indefinitely! A real quality boot! I would never buy another brand or type of wellie boot again. Well worth the investment. You get what you pay for here. Tip: wear heavy wool socks or thick socks for optimum comfort in these or the welly socks they sell. These boots are merely a shell on the inside, not insulated, but that's okay, a good pair of socks and you're on your way! The boot really hugs your feet, great support.

I love these boots! I have the original gloss in beige. The picture provided doesn't show its true color, though. Instead, product was quite a bit darker than the image shown. I am 7.5 and ordered the 7, and everything it fits extremely well. There is just enough space left so when worn with skinny jeans and socks, the boot is flush around the pant. I love these boots, and thankful that I do not have to walk around in wet tennis shoes anymore! 4 stars because I would like more arch support.

These boots are fantastic. I am in college and walking around a snowy campus these keep my feet warm and dry. They need the fleece liners for warmth, without them there is just the rubber shell. If you are getting the liners I would recommend going a size up. I am usually a 6, but the liners bunched inside. I sent them back and got a size 7 and they are perfect!

Love these boots! The "Lava" color is just as i expected and the shininess makes them extra fun. I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe and I bought the size 8 boot. Fits perfectly with a thick pair of socks. I haven\'t taken them off since I tried them on; I just keep walking around the house in them.
