- The brand advises that a white wax film may appear on the surface of the rubber boots and that it can be wiped off with a damp cloth. This "blooming" effect is not a defect. Blooming is caused when the boots are exposed to extreme temperatures or temperature swings and the wax helps prevent the rubber from weathering.

I usually wear a woman's 7 and the kids 6 fit perfectly. I am also 5'4" and found the height to be spot on. I have tried on the woman's tall and found them to be too tall so these were a good find. Zappos shipped overnight right to my workplace. Perfect!

Very cute but no traction. My daughter was playing on a rainy day at a museum with water tables and a slippery floor and I thought she was lucky to be wearing there until she slipped and fell hard and ended up in the E.R. That is where I noticed the unisex sizing so her shoes are a bit large I guess which explains why she has not outgrown them in a year. The treads are pathetic. My son has had Hatley boots for a year as well. We bought his from a store at the mall and the sales people said they ran so big so we bought a size small. They are still comfortable after a year and an increase in street shoe size. I am replacing her boots because I feel they are dangerous because they have almost no traction. Think Crocs! They are very cute and stylish, look great after a year, have the wonderful reflective qualities but rain boots without good traction are just a safety hazard!

I usually wear a woman's 7 and the kids 6 fit perfectly. I am also 5'4" and found the height to be spot on. I have tried on the woman's tall and found them to be too tall so these were a good find. Zappos shipped overnight right to my workplace. Perfect!

I am in love with my new pink wellies! I am 5'0 and wear a woman's 6 and these are absolutely perfect! They are the right size and hit right below my knee! Can't wait to break them in at the Oyster Roast! Oh, and I opted for the free shipping and they got here in 4 days! I'm definitely a happy customer!

My sister got me a regular pair of these in a cool color of purple but they were tight around my athletic calves! (14½-15") She purchased them through Zappos, and nearly a year later (still unworn) I attempted to make an exchange and it was so easy! The customer service is so amazing. I got my youth version the next day. I normally wear a 7½ in women's shoes and the youth 6 fits surprisingly perfectly! However the youth large wellie sock did not fit as nicely, oh well! They are the perfect height too. Because they are not quite as tall as the adult version, they are not tight on my calves. They are toasty warm with smartwool socks. I am so glad to have rain boots again! My dog ate one of my very old wellies a few years ago! Thank you, sister, and thank you, Zappos!

Love my new Hunter boots! I have an "adult" pair that have driven me nuts because they are so tall that they hit the back of my knees. (I'm 5ft4 if I stand up really straight!) They were uncomfortable to walk in for long periods of time. I wasn't sure the youth size 6 would fit. I wear a 7.5 in adult sizes. I can wear Uggs youth size 6 no problem, so I gave it a try. I'm so glad I did! These boots fit perfectly. They are the exact height I wanted. They hit a couple of inches below my knees. They are perfect and very comfortable in the foot bed. I also purchased the Red Wellie sock in MD (youth size 4-6) It fits great. Not too snug and not sloppy inside the boot. I am very happy to have saved some money and gotten a Hunter boot that fits perfectly!

We love these! This is her 3rd pair. They are a little pricey but they last until she outgrows them and we have had replace cheaper rain boots cause they crack or the seams come apart after just a month or two. Totally worth the price.
