- Vulcanized rubber upper provides a seamless waterproof shell, while remaining strong and flexible.
- Removable insole for an easy switch between the seasons.
- Ideal for walking through wet grass or fields as well as walking in slick conditions around the city.
- Cushioned footbed for extra comfort.
- Molded rubber EVA outsole.
- The brand advises that a white wax film may appear on the surface of the rubber boots and that it can be wiped off with a damp cloth. This "blooming" effect is not a defect. Blooming is caused when the boots are exposed to extreme temperatures or temperature swings and the wax helps prevent the rubber from weathering.

If you want a place where people appreciate the benefits of a well-fitting, waterproof boot, Scotland seems a natural choice. Mr. Henry Lee Norris most certainly thought so when he set up shop with his master boot makers back in 1856. Originally, Hunter rain boots were designed for traversing Scotland's rugged terrain and combating its unpredictable weather. Since then, the reputation of Hunter men's rain boots, Hunter women's rain boots and Hunter children's rain boots for performance, durability and outstanding comfort has become legendary worldwide.
Although their links to the present day cover over 150 years and an awful lot of advancement, there are things about a pair of Hunter rain boots that Henry would still recognize: the care, the craftsmanship, and the refusal to compromise on quality.
The first of the famous Hunter green Wellingtons were seen back in 1956. Ever since, they've been mastering the art of welly making for children and adults, by using the best of new materials, introducing revolutionary technology and replying on good old fashioned hand craftsmanship. What sets Hunter rain boots apart from the competition lies in part to a closely guarded secret process. The result is a much stronger, watertight boot that will perform under the toughest conditions.
Hunter is equally proud of the things that have changed and the things that stay the same. The weather's just as wet and the Hunter rain boots are just as good! Today, Hunter remains the preferred welly brand for men, women and children who like to work hard and play hard. Wherever your pursuits may lie, be they in a distant wooded field or amidst the bustle of city streets, Hunter has the perfect footwear for keeping up with your unique lifestyle.

These boots rock! But size down, or they may be too big. They also come with two sets of insoles- a nice bonus.

I bought these to keep my (male) feet dry while walking around wetlands in a field class. I was concerned that they would look feminine, as many college girls wear the classic Hunter boots around campus. I am very pleased with how rugged and distinguished these look compared to the classic boots. I like that the upper is adjustable and can accomodate my calves and pants with no problem (a common complaint with the classics). I am very pleased. I like they they are lined. They are extremely comfortable. Yes, they are expensive but can you put a price on not looking like a serial killer just because you have to keep your feet dry?

This is a great boot. Absolutely comfortable to wear all day. The bamboo liner is a significant plus for heat and odor control! Note, these boots are meant to be a hunting or work boot. It even comes with two pairs of foot beds. But when you buy the boot, think about how you are going to wear it. If you will likely be walking quite a bit but will wear a thin sock, opt for a boot one size smaller than your normal shoe size. If you are going to be wearing it with a thick sock or even the fleece Hunter liners, stick with your normal shoe size. If not, they will feel a bit snug and obviously these are not leather boots; they are not going to stretch. Go ahead, pull the trigger and buy them - you will love how comfortable these top of the line wellies will feel.

These are very sturdy and comfortable boots. They are well designed, a good height, good width for calves, and a clever ledge on the back of the boot to assist in taking them off.

The color is lighter than pictured. The boots are heavy, but that's most likely a sign of durability.
