I received the jacket five minutes ago. Since I have not been reading the reviews I did not know what to expect. I am 5'11" tall and about 160 pounds with a lean/ athletic build. I ordered a 38 and the thing fits snug in the shoulders and perfectly on my waist. I have a size 30 waist. The color of the jacket is much lighter than pictured. I typically wear my clothes tighter but not too tight. This jacket truly borders that line. At the moment I am wearing it with an undershirt, dress shirt, and tie comfortably, but I seriously doubt I could add a vest to that combo. The jacket is less of a denim and more a chambray. My only issue is that the jacket could use less padding in the shoulders since it already has an athletic cut. Ultimately, I am satisfied with my purchase. As versatile as this jacket may seem, unless you work at GQ or independently, the blazer is not appropriate for work. Mainly because the European inspired design is simply too slick/ sleek. Thanks to all the reviewers who helped steer me in the right direction. Hopefully I have done the same. Cheers!

Ordered this jacket on Tuesday evening, Zappos had in on my doorstep Wednesday afternoon! I have a House of Howe jacket I bought a few years ago and just love. I looked at the label a bit ago to get the brand and looked it up on Zappos and found the Personal Jesus Denim. It is a little cleaner that my other, but the fit and details remain. I wear a 42/43 size jacket/suit. This is a slim form fitting cut. I don't intend to wear it buttoned, so the slim fit is perfect. Clean through the shoulders and lats, tapered through the waste. The lapels are sharp. The material has a denim look to it, but is much softer and more refined than denim. It is lightweight. I tried it on last night with a sharp collared shirt. My girlfriend gave it a rousing thumbs up. Sexy cool. Highly recommend!

Very nice looking and comfortable blazer. I very like its catholicity - you can use with shirt or t-shirt, jeans or pants.

I bought this jacket for a one off event, hoping that it would be something I could wear on a variety of occasions. And I was right! This is a very versatile piece. You can wear it with a t-shirt or a collared shirt. You can wear it with jeans, or slacks. It's adaptable for casual situations right up to more formal ones, depending on what you mix it with. Really happy to have this in my wardrobe and looking forward to finding more occasions to wear it!

Extremely happy with this jacket. I also purchased the pants to go with it. Nice slim fit, exactly what I was searching for.

I went back and forth about which size to order (normally a 42) and based on reviews here ordered a size 44. Much to my dismay, the fit was too large. If you are looking for that trim fit I'd stick with your normal size.

I wear a 36S jacket and I'm usually lucky if I can find something that comes reasonably close to fitting. I'm smaller and slim, so I figured the 36 would be good based on the reviews saying it runs small. I was wrong, it runs way small and I needed a 38. It's a nice jacket, just take note when you pick a size!

It's a very nice piece to add to you summer wardrobe. I ordered a size up but then exchanghed it for my regular size 46 to get the trim look that i wanted. they both arrived bagged and very wrinkled so you'll need to have it pressed before wearing.I really like it.

Very slim, but very nice looking. I am a 42 and ordered a 42, this was clearly too small on me. Not slim, just small. Also, the lining on the inside is a very gaudy bright blue.

Great jacket! Love the designer, I am 5.9 at 185lbs and ordered the 44. It's a little big for me, so I exchanged for the 42. By the way the color appears way darker in the Zappos pics than the color of the actual jacket, its gray not dark gray. Hope this helps. I have shopped with Zappos and their 365 return policy and customer service which is nothing short of amazing!
