Hi-Tec Reviews
Did a ton of online research to find these, but was disappointed with this purchase, especially given all the great reviews. Fit too short at toe, too wide at midfoot. Generally felt unsure on foot. Black looked pretty good on website, but not nice-looking in person. Returning this item.

The new boots are too narrow. Two years ago the same size fit me perfectly. Now, they've made then longer and more narrow.
Comfortable, light-weight, with under-stated trim. A greet buy! Like with any foot-wear of this nature, break these in before you intend to wear them for an extended period of time.
These are great shoes. Light, very soft leather and comfortable. Not the typical bulky hiking shoe, rather slim and light. I just got my 2nd pair in black. Love 'em.

They are true to size and width. My husband wanted a shoe that he could wear outside during our Michigan winters that were not boots. These shoes fit the bill as they keep his feet dry and warm.
Just ordered these. They are gray, not brown as in the picture (but still nice). Very stiff toebox (good protection) and not much padding. But very light and comfortable.
I was not sure about these boots when I first got them as I thought they were a little masculine looking. However, after having worn them many, many times in the Colorado mountains in snow, ice, rain, and cold weather in general, I absolutely love them! They keep my feet warm and dry and I have gotten many compliments on them. They may not be the most feminine winter boots, but they do an excellent job. One big issue I had with these at first is that they were hard to get on/off. After about the fifth wearing it was no longer a problem. I have been surprised at how well they handle on slippery ice. They fit in my snowshoes perfectly and have great traction on almost all surfaces.
Great looking boot with a long lasting sole, comfortable with good room in the toe box, aggressive tread design works well and waterproof. What more could you ask for from a boot. Would buy again.
These are the most comfortable hiking boots I've ever owned. I've logged over 150 miles on my boots, from trips in light snow to 100+ degree heat in Arizona. I even set them on fire once. I've never gotten a blister or hot spot, not even during a 20 mile hike all the way into the Grand Canyon and back out while packing 35 pounds on my back. I will always wear Hi-Tec and can't wait on the arrival of my new Hi-Tec Cascadia boots.
Bought these for work boots in industrial setting. They are comfortable and run true to size. I think I purchased the wrong boots for my purpose. Thought they would be tough with rugged sole. They are very slippery when walking on snow. Otherwise - really a great boot.
These are very comfy and do everything that was promised. I went to the mountains and walked on the snow and the work great. They are wide enough to put extra sock. They are worth the money.
This company is great! I just bought 2 pairs of shoes and my wife buys from here all the time. Prices are great and so is the service.
Nice sturdy boot with the arch and ankle support I need, but have a hard time finding. Find I need a 1/2 size larger in general from High Tec to accommodate a custom orthotic and have enough wiggle room for toes.
Just got them this morning, I was really excited especially with all of the reviews. Unfortunately I have a bit larger than average calf so they were a bit uncomfortable in that area but overall very cute. I wish they were a little more forgiving in the width area, cause sadly I was cursed with wide feet.
Cute, warm, and waterproof. I added an arch support for a little extra comfort. These aren't the boots I use for long walks in the snow, but they look great with a skirt and leg warmers and keep me comfy while being fashionable.

Very uncomfortable; very stiff; lining felt like flocked lining of a cheap jewelry box. Pretty but cheaply made. My usual size 8 felt bigger but not a whole half size bigger.
Ordered an 8, fit true to size, very comfortable. The cream/brown looks a lot better in person than in the photo. It is actually a lighter beige brown and the fur is a darker cream color than in the photo.

HI-TEC SPORTS was founded in 1974 in the appropriately named village of Shoeburyness, in Essex, England. The company´s original success grew from the breakthrough design and development of Hi-Tec's first ever shoe, THE HI-TEC SQUASH, specifically designed for the then fast growing game of squash. An industry benchmark then and now, few shoes in athletic footwear history have recorded unit sales of over 18 million pairs worldwide to date. The Hi-Tec Squash shoe remains Britain's all time best selling sports shoe model to this day.
